The giveaway is always the sound. If you want it to sound right, the you're gonna have to find a flatplane-crank engine. Chevy now makes them with the C8 Corvette.
Actually the exhaust on it is temporarily I’m planning on doing a 180 exhaust which sounds more exotic . But not to down play what’s on it now the video doesn’t sound anything like it actually does 🤷🏻♂️ I’m not sure why but it sounds really different in person.
Excellent work! Always something to learn from other people. Just one point though, the original glass - the top piece of side glass, is actually curved at the top. The top glass channel is curved to the shape of the glass and roof. - not flat. There are also a very defined edge on the top of the door frame leading to the roof, not rounded off. Otherwise, Im enjoying your channel. Lots of good info here.
All my glass is curved in my car like the real ones except the back glass . Yes the window frames have a defined edge on them not sure if you can see them in the video. 🤷🏻♂️
This is great, you are doing an excellent job...I have yet to figure out how to install the door locks I received from Buy The Horns. Can you video both sides of the locks so I can see how it works (inside and outside). Thanks!
If you look back at my other videos I do show it in there. Otherwise when I do the passenger door I can take more pictures but it’s going to be a bit working on other stuff now waiting on materials .
What body is that? This was educational. I can not tell by the video does this body have the correct roofline? And did you do the A pillars to accept factory windscreen? I am doing the same thing in planning G stages.
This is a AFI ( American Fiberglass, Inc. ) yes the roof is correct ( rounded ) the car came from the factory to except the curved windscreen. Thanks for watching

Just not available as a crate engine yet. But agreed. That would sound the part for sure

That’s one way to do it, interesting how that triangle glass comes out if it ever gets broken
