Thanks for the video. I haven’t heard of Meteor before but looks like that will be the next piston I install this fall for the upcoming snowbike season. Looking forward to your ERM for the TBI bikes!
Thanx for the video. Vertex piston looked like it is a few millimeters taller when it was set on its skirt beside the Meteor while on its skirt also on the table top @ 3 minutes 15 seconds of the video. Is this correct? Or was it just the camera angle producing this perspective?
Hey you’re back…. Thanks for the knowledge mate, not enough Aussie/kiwi two stroke gurus on the tube. Pls 👍 keep it up. Do they make pistons for Yz125s??? I’m a vintage Yz bloke and am using a forged Wisco but it does have those transfer cit outs in it. I think it’s robbing power.
Hello friend, I bought a vertex piston for a 2001 kx250, the clips or segments are both marked with a T, could you tell me if that means that they are facing up? Excuse my letters, I don't know how to speak English very well, thank you and good video 👍🏼
letter allways up ! T = TP Piston rings (Japan) N= NPR Piston Rings (Japan) R= RIK Piston Rings (Japan) All these 3 Brands are the same maximal Quality made in Japan.
@christophbarthel6542 Thank you very much friend, luckily I put it together well!! great quality but something so simple and they are not able to give any instructions... 🤦🏽♂️ thank you!!!

Definitely taller
...same hight in both pistons; it just appears different because the front- and rear skirts have different lengths
What's the price difference?

@@javi_torres_1983 your welcome mate, yes... ... i try always to help
Chears from austria Europe
Good to see meteor are high quality , what do you think about Wossner ?
Asso Werke also is an Italia high quality maker
The manufacturing material is the same in a cast iron piston as in a forged one. The only difference is the way they are made.
Cast iron, lol
Wiseco or no piston
Right , I would think a forged piston should be way better and in KTM engines.
I would say forged is lighter and stronger.
2T wossner I always put letter A.
Wossner for ever
The vertex looked abit taller
Thats a vertex replica, the original is convectional on top.
