    I got my 23 300xc in December of 22. 85 hours and will probably get this along with the head insert and do my rebuild at 100hrs. Seems like hands down the best value you can make along with suspension. My bike fouls a plug almost every time i start it when the weather gets cold so aside of the performance you gain the adjustments and tools this replaces is amazing. I dont know the price yet but i cant imagine not having this, unfortunately ill need to by a new map switch as well , mine stopped working and lightning up months ago

    100% this is what we need for these new bikes. A way to tune and diag. Just got your full kit for my 25" 300xcw. Can't wait to get it installed.
    Worked wonders on my 22" tpi. Keep up the good work!

    More great stuff from TSB!
    By the way, the ERM will only control the fan if the fan wires are connected directly to the factory fan connector under the tank. If you wired your fan directly to the battery the ERM will not control your fan and the fan can be controlled with the temp readout selector.

    The issues with these TBI bikes don't make sense to me...everything I hear is about how rich they are running. However, these bike manufacturers historically have to tune very much on the lean side in order to meet emissions standards...what gives? Also, all of the info and videos I've seen on these ERM's, ecu remapping, etc. focuses on the 250/300. Can the ERM be used for the 125 sx/xc with the same results? Thank you.

    Great update, I have a problem with hanging idle on my TPI and I hope this can fix it by adjusting the fueltype since fuel in Thailand is Ethanol blended.

    I'm really happy with my maps for my 250 tbi but will be damned if I don't download and flash with this new one.
    The fuel stoch option is a really good feature for people like me in ca. I will typically load up ethanol free fuel from utah and az, so have a mix of maverik clear 91 and sunoco 100 and vp 110 that goes in the bike.

  • @ptft4
    @ptft4 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Oh, I just realised that fueltype do not apply for TPI models.... I really need it for ethanol blended fuel in Thailand. Will it come later ?

    So with this new update can I use one ERM on both my bikes if I pay for the more expensive reset option? I have a 250 & a 300

    • @TwoStrokePerformance
      @TwoStrokePerformance  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, the ERM can only be paired to a single ECU at a time for flashing tunes. When you pay the reset fee you can take it to a new bike/ECU and you will also get a free map for the new bike via the ERM portal. If you are taking it to another bike of the same model then you can technically just swap ECUs between the bike and run the ERM/ECU pair on the new bike if you choose. Obviously if youre taking it to a different capacity bike then you cant just swap ECUs.
      If its paired to a TBI bike it can be used on any other TBI of any capacity for the service functions (fault codes, dash data, service functions), likewise the same goes for the TPI... but it can only be used to flash one ECU at any time.
      At some point in the future we will release a new version that will allow multiple licenses for multiple ECUs at a time, but this may be a while away with the current workload we have unfortunately.

    If you have the ERM do you need the KTM "wakeup" dongle? Got my bike second hand and it didnt come with one.

    • @TwoStrokePerformance
      @TwoStrokePerformance  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Technically no... when you plug in the ERm it will automatically turn the ECU on, just liek the dongle does

    are there instructions on how to get this new firmware installed on the ERM? I've downloaded the firmware update and the manager update, now what?

    • @artistintheambulance
      @artistintheambulance 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Connect the ERM via wifi to the manager. Once connected you’ll have an option to update the ERM firmware on the opening page of manager, just choose the file and it will upload to the ERM. Takes less than 2 minutes

    Was considering buying this until I saw the transfer feature is an extra price. Transferring the unit defaults the ecu back to stock. If it does default it why are you charging extra. Oh yea I know why, your preventing people from selling them used or moving the ERM to their new bike so you can get more sales. Smart, but really damn greedy.

    • @TwoStrokePerformance
      @TwoStrokePerformance  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is no greed going on, just sensible business and ongoing customer service. Our product is significantly less expensive to purchase than any other comparable products, yet we offer more features. We encourage people to sell them or move them to new bikes when necessary and have offered 2 different ways that this can occur...
      The cheaper ($150AUD) method forces the ECU back to stock. The charge for this service in part covers the admin required to remove the history from the device so it can be re-registered by someone else. When the ERM is re-registered by the new user they will also get a credit to purchase a new tune, which is the same value as the fee charged ($150).... so essentially the payment covers the new tune for the next bike.
      The second method is more expensive ($350AUD) because it allows the ECU to be left tuned. The price for this option is about the same as if you took an ECU to one of our reflash centres and had the ECU tuned by them. With this option the fee also covers the same admin work required to deregister the ERM and provides the new owner with a $150 credit for the next tune purchased on the ERM. This fair because if a customer can leave a trail of tuned ECUs in their wake then we should receive fair compensation for creating the tunes.
      Some other things to remember... if you are taking the ERM to a new bike which is the same model as the previous bike you can just fit the ERM and previous ECU to the new bike for zero cost. Also if you compare our product to an aftermarket replacement ECU you will find that they are much more expensive to purchase in the first instance and when moving them from one bike to another you will usually have to pay an engine tuner a fee to change the tune to suit the new bike. Overall we are very confident that our ERM represents better value for money over its life cycle than the other options on the market.

      @ so is the transfer function a one time deal or unlimited? I do appreciate the lengthy response. I assumed you wouldn’t respond to be honest. And just so you know I made that comment and went ahead and purchased the unit the next day from a local dealer.even though I don’t necessarily agree with the cost. Thanks
