    Thoroughly enjoyed this. Fun to see what goes into it. I think flat corners are super fun too, and definitely make for a better rider. We've been tearing in some corner tracks here in MT recently... Track looks like a blast!

    Great vid Cameron! I do it with a tractor also although my “track” is nothing compared to yours. Its amazing how long it takes to build a jump with the tractor …so much work! Some good tips mate 👍

    There's a bunch of attachments for the bota for smoothing out the clumps, however, depending topography of your place, I suggest weeper the track low areas, 3/4 clear and drainage pipe. It will move 99% of the water away. Either that or configure the track for drainage pipe, eg move locations of things to defer water pooling locations.
    Hard to tell grade from video.
    As for jumps, couldn't you just make them from the plastic sheets/ stainless lol, and never worry about it again?
    Can't burms be built of clay wouldn't that help the washout?

    Small slice of heaven. Need some off on stuff, bbq, lights, motogazebo, piped in music, gate, tunnel jumps, wash pad, camp sites, shitters.
    appreciate regular working man's equipment.Heavy school would holler at me if I packed pins with dirt back dragging building unusually mis shaped stock piles. As a welder/mechanic/equipment operator beating pins out now since 2010, I understand why, no matter where you work, never a shortage of broken trucks and equipment seized pins.

    @cameronsienkiewicz6364 ปีที่แล้ว

    You really need to install a French drainage system in the corner that’s 6 feet below grade.. dig a trench through the track to the other side so the water can go UNDER the track and into the ground on the other side, that way you don’t have a pond in the corner that could potentially hydro lock your bike if you fall into the puddle while riding, and you don’t have to deal with all the mud lol

    Beautiful spot you could make a legit motocross track and get fans and people to come race events there. Would have to get waivers and all that sorted but god perfect soil and terrain, land area for a good track. I’d ride it but I’m in Australia 😅

    Loved the video! I'm curious about your thoughts on your Kubota. I'm in the market for a tractor of some kind and can't decide between a loader tractor like yours or a skid loader of some kind. We get a lot of snow in the wintertime that I have to plow, but I also want something that I could build a track with. What are your thoughts?

    • @CameronNiemela
      @CameronNiemela  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! Why I went with a tractor was because it does basically everything and implements are cheap and easy to find. It's not fast for moving dirt but it'll do the job. A skid steer is somewhat limited for some things. Hard to use a disc or a huge mower with them. And attachments are super expensive.

    • @RickForbush
      @RickForbush ปีที่แล้ว

      @Cameron Niemela Thanks for your response! Those are great thoughts. I've been leaning towards the tractor, too, due to it being a little more versatile. I love your page and the content. I'm glad your health has made a turn for the better! Enjoy your time with your baby. That stage doesn't last long.
