R Truth getting confused and thinking it's a ladder match. Classic.
There was also the time randy savage chased jake roberts out the ring and jumped over the top rope
I actually thought he was talking about that one when he started. IMO that one was much weirder as it really looked like a botch ans as the commentators made up rulechanges in order to have Macho Man stay in the match.
That's what I figured it would be when he said it. The Yokozuna one was just how the finish was booked (admittedly a very stupid finish) but the one in 92 was Savage literally forgetting the rules and jumping over the top rope.
The Hurricane was absolutely amazing and loved by many, but backstage politics kept screwing him over. Good on The Rock and others for supporting him

I haven't watched WWE since 2003 (Had a couple of periods of watching Impact and WCPW since then, but yeah, no WWE) and I didn't even know it had changed
Looking back at the finish of the '92 Rumble with Hogan holding onto Sid.... it's like Hogan couldn't stand the fact that Flair was getting put in the spotlight and Hogan had to find a way to make it about him.
93 Rumble was the first I watched. So funny watching macho man pin. The commentators were screaming that they weren’t the rules. Then yoko pressed him off. But for one moment ... Macho Madness could have won.

Whose Line is one of my favorite shows of all time. Well, the one hosted by Drew Carey, anyway.
The 1988 Royal Rumble, the very first one, started the PPV out with Dino Bravo trying to beat the world bench press record with Jesse “The Body” Ventura as his spotter. It dragged on so long. Every time Bravo went to make the lift, the crowd would boo and they would spend a minute to ask everyone to be silent.

I was at the 94 Rumble. I was 10. Maybe the most memorable night of my childhood. March 26 I'm going to a wrestling show with my dad for the first time since that night.

Vince blowing his quads is the number one moment of any list. The actual moment he did it is brilliant. And the farce of everyone standing around just looking at him is amazing.
A chuckle turns into a maniacal laugh whenever someone mentions Vince tearing his quads.

Randy Savage did that twice in the Royal Rumble the one on this list and then the one where he just hopped over the top rope and then jumped at somebody with a double arm smash i can't remember who he jumped on

Of I'm not mistaken, Savage was feuding with Roberts and when Roberts got eliminated, Savage went to the top rope and dove on him.
It's made even funnier by the fact in the exact same match, Big Bossman accidentally eliminated himself, but didn't get to re-enter

A good weird moment worth mentioning would be 2 things in the 1999 Royal Rumble: Kai En Tai crashing and getting eliminated from the Rumble 3 times (3rd time was just Funaki because Taka got injured the 2nd time he got tossed) and Kane eliminating himself when the men in white started approaching the ring

God I love the western mortician undertaker. He was a freaking beast. I used to love when he tank attacks.
I've always thought that people misinterpret that Randy Savage spot on the RR, I think Randy was supposed to give the elbow to Yoko and then get caught and thrown outside but they botched it, that's why it look so awkward.
Macho also forgot the rules in 92 when he eliminated his own self by jumping over the ropes..... He's, uh, not the brightest crayon.

I miss The Hurricane. Loved his cameo appearance, short as it was, in the 2018 RR.
I've even gotten to meet him and a bunch of others (like JR, William Regal, along with Rikishi and Too Cool) at the London Comic Con a few years back, even though I didn't realise he was going to be there, which was a wonderful surprise for me. Really nice guy in person.
Damn I remember that match with the Undertaker and Yokozuna at that I thought that was was awesome and I still do that match will go down in the history books

Titus O'Neil running down and tripping on the outside mat causing him to dive under the ring.
I think the undertaker ascension moment was awesome, along with the monologue. Far simpler times then, and you could enjoy these moments without looking for common consensus on the internet these days.
I am not going to lie, after finishing watching this video, I shall immediately search "Hurricane tries chokeslam" because this seems like something that should not go unseen.

After hitting the elbow savage should have made it look like he was crawling over Yoko before he got tossed over.
No mention of Ernest Miller and his manager Lamont in 2004? With Chris Beniot and Randy Orton both down, Ernest Miller comes out at number 18. After a couple of minutes of dancing, Benoit grabbed Lamont and proceeded to throw his wig out of the ring.
Drew Carey was a massive star in the U.S. when he did the Rumble. Vince didn’t give a shit how famous he was anywhere else.

I remember watching the RR the year Undertaker did the coffin thing, & honestly, I didn’t even question it at the time. It really was super weird now that I look bad at it. I guess I didn’t give it a 2nd thought since I was young kid. 🤷🏽♂️😂
Why did you choose that Randy Savage moment and not the one where he jumped over the top rope, beat up Rick Martel on the floor and then got back in? He carried on in the match for like 30mins, even though he'd already eliminated himself!

I also hated Yokozuna flipping Savage over the top rope kicking out of the pin. It was SO obvious that Randy assisted by jumping (this was back when kayfabe was still kept up, so it was even more glaring to see it).

The pancake thing with Kofi was just embarrassing. Ok... so Kofi can be thrown clear out of the ring and land on some random object and still be in the rumble... but if a guy is dangling out of the ring holding onto the top rope, but his feet touch the ground he's eliminated... BULL SHIT.
