This is the first time I got to know of the source - chalat musafir, of course! And now it seems so obvious! 😅 Very clever sampling of the melody with brand new lyrics. And Musa, the way you feel for the Urvashi remake, its exactly how most Indians would feel about the Saki Saki remake as well :P IT should never have happened!

The irony of many older Bollywood songs being labelled as "original" loool, take Tama Tama (and Jumma Chumma) for example - that's NOT an original Bollywood number, it's copied from Mory Kante's songs. That's where Bollywood's ethics suck

But if the same singer /a great singer sings and the great actors perform ..then it possibly will be great too! If you want to give a flavor for the remake it should be a great flavor! why do they think the new faces will be liked on a remake after destroying the song?😀 haha
I hate the autotuned vocals , cheap, badly compressed digital instruments used in the "new" versions, sounds so generic and out of a factory.. old ones are 1000 times better. They might throw in a girl that's fire to compensate, but in the original there is nothing to compensate.
