I miss the 80’s 90’s and early 2000’s music in both Bollywood and South Indian music. All the beautiful romantic melodies that pulled at your heart strings and had you humming the songs for days and weeks.. those were the golden era of music.
You have different taste in music. No need to force your taste on all people. There are some beautiful songs produced every year.

Because bollywood has resorted to constantly churning out remakes after remakes of 10/10 songs and making them 5/10, people now have shifted to listening to more regional songs. Pahadi, Bhojpuri, Malayalam, Telgu songs are quite trending.

There's a reason i keep going back to listen to music from my parents and grandparents era. The songs nowadays just don't hit the same. And the remakes are just awful most of the times.

You guys should totally react to the Heeramandi series. There's a lot of drama, typical for SLB, but it's really beautiful. My only complains were one of the actress' acting and I felt that the main love story was kinda boring. But there is a whole lot else going on to still enjoy it. The songs were great too. Make it a members only thing on Feature Friday if it's too much to edit down for youtube.
The song "Sabki baaraatein aayein" is from the movie Janam Samjha Karo & had 2 versions in the film:

I don't like remakes most times but sometimes it is actually not that bad if you remake a song. If that song is 20 yr old and it is nice way to introduce it to newer generation of music listeners. ✌️
I think the main issue is we don't have song writers that we used to have. If new song writing is not encouraged, Bollywood music will just be a box full of remakes

You should react to 90s/2000s remakes like Pardesiya, chadti jawani, saiyan dil mein ana re, kabhi aar kabhi paar, kanta laga, chodo anchal etc. These remakes were so good keeping the essence of the original yet sounding so modern, elevated. Today's remakes are just not good at all.
