What an AMAZING throwback this is. All the nostalgic first day's of school used to make me feel like time wasn't real for a moment. All the ambience of such a day simply felt different than any other. So enjoyable. Thank you so much for this, makes me feel really happy and cozy after a rough period of time this couple months have been.

Those index cards brought back a memory I forgot I had. Every year they’d ask for index cards and every year we never used them but my parents insisted I needed them.... had so so many index cards.
My teachers would always get upset because we didn’t have them for the first day activity and said we would need them throughout the class so we bought them never to be used again
@@VS-2002 it’s a small rectangular piece of paper/card (maybe about 3 times the size of a business info card) and has red lines on one side for writing while the other side is blank :) i’m sure if you look up “index card” or “note card” you’ll find some images ^^

The crayons brought back a memory from 3rd grade: I had a big pack of crayons like this and I got in trouble for coloring an animals worksheet all the bright colors. The teacher contacted my mother because she was concerned about my overly active imagination. My mom told the teacher that maybe she needed some of my imagination and to wait to call her when something was really wrong😁
To be fair, things like that can be a sign of mental disorders. It's like how young toddlers showing great color coordination in LEGOs is usually an early sign of autism, yet usually has parents lashing out about how "you just can't accept that my child is so gifted!!". The point of a worksheet is to have the person reproduce the things they have learnt. If by the age of 8-9 (3rd grade) you are still unable to color in animals with accurate colorings, that can be a sign of a deeper issue. Let's not trash teachers for caring about their students' neurological health/treatment, and informing parents of any potential issues that they may have seen in the classroom.

I'm watching this tonight as I make a letter for my first grader! My colored pencils are out and I'm ready to draw! In my school each year the seniors are paired up with first graders and we exchange notes and hang out together. This makes me super nostalgic and happy bc i know my first grader is doing this right now (well probably hours ago i sure hope he isn't still up lol). Wishing all the seniors and the first graders (and anyone in between) a great first day of school!!!

Ok, Moon is my mom now. My mom never really helped me with the anxiety before school or encouraged creativity (I constantly doodled and wrote and stuff) so even though I just started college this semester this was nice💕
I'd love more of this character!! She's got to be my most favorite so far! It's nice to feel like I have someone who could look after me, even in the most vulnerable of times while having an escape from life. I'd love it if you could make more videos of this mom character!
Maybe Mom Erin can go over our wardrobe and make sure our pretty dresses and shoes fit, and that we have overalls for playing in the yard, and fix our hair with the new hair bows 😁

As somebody who grew up with an abusive mother, we never had time like this. This provided me comfort in more ways than I can describe, and I thank you for providing me, and I'm sure many others, with an experience I always craved. You did a wonderful job on this video as always, sometimes when I can't get to/stay asleep, your videos are what brings me that solace. You have changed mine and so many other people's lives. the part about picking up pebbles to put in the dress’s pockets (ITS A DRESS WITH POCKETS!!!) reminded me of at my kindergarten, after recess the teacher had to check our shoes because we would sneak in rocks off of the playground. i remember somehow still sneaking them in but i don’t remember how? maybe i put them in my socks?? i now have pretty rocks i found down the shore on my nightstand so i clearly haven’t changed that much and that little part made me so nostalgic 🥺
Now I've been listening to ASMR for probably 4 months now or so and never gotten the tingles once but I could literally listen to Erin talk about anything. Her voice just instantly relaxes me. I don't even use headphones sometimes and she still puts me right to bed all the time.
The rainboots are a Target staple and I've worked there for years now so when I tell you the boots triggered me Awake and into Work Mode 💀 and the dress! It's part of this year's back to school line for kids and I wish it came as an adult-size 😭 I love it.

Man those were the good ol days. Also Greenfield Elementary is a an actual school in my town. I didn’t go there but I know people who did.

I think school supplies is where my ASMR began.. even when I was in elementary school I loved school supply shopping and seeing other people’s supplies and got ASMR (although I didn’t know what it was at the time). This is my new favorite ASMR video of all time, thank you ❤️❤️
If I ever become a mother, this is what I want for my child. I'd let my child go to elementary school, and afterwards homeschool or private school. I know one on one learning is a lot better for sure. But I'm afraid of pregnancy, childbirth and such. And terrified I'd fail as a mother.

Remember adoption is always a possibility. Risking the life of a partner is never really the safest option to go through. I feel the same even as a guy but I always thought that if I reached an advanced age and was still alone, if my financial situation was alright I would try to go for adoption. Just seeing a kid feel loved and wished for always warmed my heart
I personally don’t want to go through a pregnancy or give birth, it freaks me out and I’m also a small person. However, there are so many kids who need to be adopted so if I ever do commit myself to a kid or two it’ll be through adoption
I’ve watched Erin since her first ever video and I feel so connected to her and her videos, they’ve got me through my toughest days and I feel she truly embodies the feeling of peace and love in simple things. It’ll be a sad day for me and many others when she stops making asmr ❤️

I would be curious about these specific ones too, but I know a lot of ASMRtists have big plastic bins and drawers filled with props and often re-use them. She’s very crafty so the art supplies are probably for her!
Maybe they will get donated or returned to the store? I noticed that the clothes still had tags on, and lots of places are probably having school supply drives right now.
Im sure she either has a litte girl in her life of some sort (nieces, younger cousins or even like a friends child) or she donates somewhere for children in need.
Although I enjoyed watching this, I'm a retired teacher who taught in a third world country. Watching this I wish for a world that all small primary aged children could have a bag like this, with so many different colors, notebooks and a nice lunch. 🙏🌹
She seriously has the best ASMR voice. One of my ASMR pet peeves is when the artist speaks too loudly or quickly (basically when they talk normally haha). But Erin’s style is perfect.

As somebody who grew up with an abusive mother, we never had time like this. This provided me comfort in more ways than I can describe, and I thank you for providing me, and I'm sure many others, with an experience I always craved. You did a wonderful job on this video as always, sometimes when I can't get to/stay asleep, your videos are what brings me that solace. You have changed mine and so many other people's lives. the part about picking up pebbles to put in the dress’s pockets (ITS A DRESS WITH POCKETS!!!) reminded me of at my kindergarten, after recess the teacher had to check our shoes because we would sneak in rocks off of the playground. i remember somehow still sneaking them in but i don’t remember how? maybe i put them in my socks?? i now have pretty rocks i found down the shore on my nightstand so i clearly haven’t changed that much and that little part made me so nostalgic 🥺

Now I've been listening to ASMR for probably 4 months now or so and never gotten the tingles once but I could literally listen to Erin talk about anything. Her voice just instantly relaxes me. I don't even use headphones sometimes and she still puts me right to bed all the time.

The rainboots are a Target staple and I've worked there for years now so when I tell you the boots triggered me Awake and into Work Mode 💀 and the dress! It's part of this year's back to school line for kids and I wish it came as an adult-size 😭 I love it.

I think school supplies is where my ASMR began.. even when I was in elementary school I loved school supply shopping and seeing other people’s supplies and got ASMR (although I didn’t know what it was at the time). This is my new favorite ASMR video of all time, thank you ❤️❤️

I'd let my child go to elementary school, and afterwards homeschool or private school.
I know one on one learning is a lot better for sure.

Remember adoption is always a possibility.
Risking the life of a partner is never really the safest option to go through. I feel the same even as a guy but I always thought that if I reached an advanced age and was still alone, if my financial situation was alright I would try to go for adoption. Just seeing a kid feel loved and wished for always warmed my heart

I personally don’t want to go through a pregnancy or give birth, it freaks me out and I’m also a small person. However, there are so many kids who need to be adopted so if I ever do commit myself to a kid or two it’ll be through adoption

Just out of curiosity, what does the future hold for all the school supplies, toys, rain boots, etc? I always wonder what ASMRtists do with all the props they accumulate!
I would be curious about these specific ones too, but I know a lot of ASMRtists have big plastic bins and drawers filled with props and often re-use them. She’s very crafty so the art supplies are probably for her!
Maybe they will get donated or returned to the store? I noticed that the clothes still had tags on, and lots of places are probably having school supply drives right now.
Im sure she either has a litte girl in her life of some sort (nieces, younger cousins or even like a friends child) or she donates somewhere for children in need.
If I were an asmrtist I would give unneeded props to my baby cousins, she probably has some babies in her life who could use them
