How different are Muslims living in Israel compare to those in other countries when it comes to their views about Jews and Israel? 3. Why Jews are a constant target of political narratives? I understand the religious angle but I also see some lefty Jews speaking against Israel or Jews in general. One example is George Soros. 4. What are the Israeli government policies regarding orphan kids whose parents died in the recent terrorist attack? 5. How much impact does a bomb-shelter able to handle? For geopolitics in middle-east and Israel, Catherine Perez-Shakdam is a knowledgeable person to follow. She is an expert on terrorism, Islamic radicalization and antisemitism. Another one is Daniel Bordman who talks about antisemitism in West and the political handshake between leftist and Islamist. Both are doing a great job.
I was reading an old BBC article titled, " Israel's Indian Jews and their lives in the promised land ". I request you to read it. It talks about the discrimination the Indian Jews faced. Also one interesting point it raised that unlike the Indian Jews who are fluent in Indian languages, their children or grandchildren who were born in Israel no longer taught the same since there is no practical use of learning Indian languages in Israel. Indian Jews act as a bridge between Israel and India. Since they know Indian society and the way of our thinking, they help in explaining the Indian perspective in better way. Take for example the symbol Swastika. An Indian Jew will not fear the symbol unlike the Jews who came to Israel from western countries. Why it is important because Hindus, Jains, Buddhists etc are paying the price for the wrongdoings of Nazis by not able to use the auspicious cultural symbol freely in a safer environment abroad. But I think in future, this bridge will cease to exist as older generation of Indian Jews pass away. The newer generation who are born in Israel will have the same views on Swastika like the Western ones since they never lived in India or saw Swastika in their day to day life. Unfamiliarity of Indian languages will further bring a gap in understanding.
It’s not just Jews, who grew in the west is the majority of Jews, who don’t like the swastika. And the future generations of the Jews, who are coming from India like their children hopefully they will become more religious, which is a good thing for the nation of Israel . But in the end of the day jews have to come back to the Torah and be religious as it will benefit the nation of Israel. Yeah, India is a political friend of Israel, but the religion culture is not the same. In the end of the day the Jewish nation has to look at their interest how it’s gonna benefit them so hopefully the Indian future Jewish generation assimilates into the Jewish culture and they are strong Zionist and they become religious that would be better for them. The jews who are coming from India. They don’t have a very Jewish touch. They are more Indian than Jewish and that is not a good thing. I have been observing and trying to understand the Indian Jews, and quite frankly, They are not very Jewish. They’re more Indian practising Hindu rituals, which is not allowed in Judaism. She is misinformed. She said there are no Muslim countries with Jews living therein. There are Jews living in central Asia, Pakistan, North Africa and a very sizeable Jewish minority living in Iran which has the third largest Jewish population after Israel and the U.S. Also, there were even more sizeable Jewish populations living in Muslim countries but they made "Aliya" to Israel in exactly the same way she left India for Israel, so she really needs to check her 'facts' when she says "none"@Muslim countries with Jews living therein. Muslim countries have hosted Jews for thousands of years and you can find this when you look at the "Sefaradic" Jewish population of Iran which mainly has Jews from Muslim countries i.e Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Iran, Pakistan. Algeria, Morocco etc. And wtf is she talking about "pro-hamas rallies"? Name me one rally where someone has lauded Hamas. All the rallies around the world are pro-Palestinian rallies asking for a ceasefire as the biggest victim of this Israeli genocide of Palestinians and complete destruction of Gaza, are women and children. "Pro-Hamas" my foot; the only one who is "pro-Hamas" are Netanyahu and the Israeli government who want an excuse to exterminate as many Palestinians as is possible. Each israeli house or building should have had photovoltaic generation during daylight hours since Israel is mostly desert and manage with battery power during night time hours, given the advanced state of development of the country. Its strange that electricity billing is so costly in the country since this is a one time capital/infrastructure investment. Govt mismanagement shows.
The consumables must be all coming from Europe mostly. So Balance of trade is skewed towards Europe and the USA as Israel must be producing very little and importing a lot. Therefore its so costly besides the cost of the threat of perpetual state of war
