This is immensely helpful, thank you Raxx. 40:31 I'm thinking the same and even to the first 4 chapters of the Season Journey TBH. Then swap to a new DH with a full set of GOD straight away to blast the rest of the Alter and Season Journey. New DH set, Necro and Wiz for end-game push.
Don't get me wrong, love D3, been playing since it launched. I am amazed you have the willpower to not only play the EU start of season, but then instantly move over to the America start. Plus doing these season start practices. Like damn, you gotta love this game hard to not hate it after playing so much lol
I’ve done both EU and US for several years, have a lot of friends on EU…plus it’s good practice for US. Casual player, but I like the feeling of completing everything on both servers. 😎👍

Hi Raxx i wach your practice run.
Maybe you can do this:
When you reach lvl 18 on necro.
Salvage all items and delete your lvl 18 necro.
Make new lvl 1 necro or another class, make 58 weapon and do act 1 bounty torment 6 (360.000 gold and 3 Db) whith snapshot strategy like first time .
Reduce difficulty to normal go to leoric's manor ( room to the right where you find 6 normal items) or go to act V battlefields and pick up normal items you find (you need 450 reusable parts).
Cube quest and covert 300 Reusable Parts in 100 Arcane Dust and 200 Veiled Crystal.
Make all armor pieces (ad from paragon points 3400 main stats and 3400 vit).
Torment 6 bounties act 3 + act4 + act5 (bounties count as season journey + 1.080.000 gold + 9 Db + you can extract 6 legendary powers on cube after you hit lvl 70 and have 30 Db).
Lvl mystic (for helmet enchantments you need lvl 12 on mystic).
Massacre bonus leveling.

A big forget I keep seeing is the extra time it takes to earn the gold needed to raise artisans. Tried it 4 separate ways and the fastest I could earn the gold to get them all to 12 (980,000k g) is about an hour.... Could you explain how you achieve this and\or don't account for it
you have 2 do 2 sets of bounties 2 be able 2 make lvl 70 weapon he did that in previous vid not sure why he didnt here so couldnt use the weapon he did. so after nec do a t4 bounty with lvl 60 weapon {other then act2 bounty} i like act 1 cause super fast . Then you can use lvl 70 weapon and a few other 70 items you get 2 dbs at t4. I saw another vid where a guy did a few runs of leorics manor there is a room with 6 whites that takes like 1 min 2 run too. Go up the stairs to the right and hug the right side till you find the small room can use the 2 dbs 2 quickly make the rest of the 70 gear.

Watched this while cleaning my seasonal stashes for both EU and US. Wondering how the enhanced items will be transferred, if at all. SO looking forward for Season 28, going to be a fun one I think. Us casuals are going to progress like never before. :)

So Magda, wouldn't it be better to kill monsters on say a "kill 100 monsters" bounty? Then just teleport to Magda at lvl 3 and run? That way your kills are counting towards a bounty. I still think that running through all the "Kill hundreds of monsters" bounties will snapshot everything to lvl 1 and then you can just own all the bounties. Bit slow with lots of running first but then you don't hit that level 8-9 (I'm so weak) stage. I plan to not kill ANYTHING (except elites) unless I have to in my Bounty runs. Because then I can just do a couple of massacre runs to get mass XP later. I'll grab my pet too to pick up gold.

I am going to level up Wizard right away without a cache just to enjoy the process. I think the altar makes levelling actually enjoyable.
Can someone explain why is it level 43 to craft a lvl 70 weapon in this scenario with no cache? What happens at 43 that makes you able to get a DB to max out the blacksmith?
answer was in raxxs sheet noncache tab, lvl 43 is just the estimate on when u will collect enough gold to upgrade blacksmith to max and DB u get from early necro leveling (has to be torment 1) from act 2 bounties while grinding to 18

Got an idea. I'll make a necro, take the cache and blast my way to chapter IV.
Then I make my wizard, open the gifts and put the full Typhon set on my lvl1 girl. Once in a lifetime chance.
Maybe not the most efficient, but the lols. 😀

I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I was wondering...
In regards to getting to level 70. Would it be faster to just level with the Necro until you're able to get a full set of crafted 70 gear, then swap over to the class you wan tot play? CE is so powerful, I would think it would be faster to grind that out with the Necro.
Full set of gear (minus jewelry) would cost;
9,000 gold
135 Mats X3
So the total cost of crafts and Blacksmith upgrade is 320,000, 135 Mats X3, and one Death's Breath. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here.
I leveled up a few characters with like 5 items from level 70, via the Gem of Ease this past season to test what I wanted to play this next season, and it only took 20-25 minute or so. They were defensive Legendaries with no damage bonuses. I did have Paragon level however, but I didn't use the Necro. A near full set of 70 gear even with bad rolls would trivialize the leveling process I would think. Any time spent on the Necro would quickly be made up from this boon in power
As a person who doesn't really care about going ultra fast it seems like this would be the better option for the majority of the player-base. I'm no D3 expert though, so I could be totally off base or missing something here.
I haven't finished the video yet, but the struggle with the DH is real so far.

I'm seeing some conflicting reports on what the best build in this season will be.
Some say its with a meteor Wizard, others with a DH or nova Necro. Which one is it?
The Demon Hunter changes can't be tested until season drops, so they can't say for sure where it will land. For solo pushing it most likely will be the Wizard, especially now that the altar power that gave rolling pylon buffs got changed drastically.
The best build every season is whatever one you enjoy playing.

So, isn't more time efficient if you do the season journey chapters while leveling instead of spamming temple of the first born?
Like the 5 caches from bounties took you 40 minutes on level 70 on normal.
Also you can kill 2 boss from chapter 1 and 2 more from chapter 2 on the level 60-70 push.
Very excited for this season. Completely skipped last season till about 2 weeks ago and played just to grab thr barb set. Gonna be nice to run a necro again.

"Fence" vendors ALSO subject to "snapshot mechanics". You have to visit another act town to gen ammy's on 10-11 lvl that you haven't visited on your lower levels.
How do you manage to not get blocked by randomly attacking the monsters while stutter stepping? It happens to me even if im clicking behind a monster while using force stand still technique and it almost always ends my massacre.

Is it better to swap already at 18 or do you first grind a DH for paragon levels and materials?
Thoughts on 1..70 completely on Necro, and switching to DH once you have some Haedrig caches?
DH would then be able to set up with full 70 gear across the board and at least some set bonuses from the start.
If you complete the journey quest on the necro you will get the necro set from Haedrig's gift.
@@sirmoke9646 No, unless they changed this. You can open it on any character on your account. You can open 2 pieces on 3 different characters if you want. Let me know if this has changed.
@@Sphynx00 DH Haedrig 2 and 4 piece bonuses are more useful than Necro 2 & 4 piece bonuses, so earning 1 or maybe 2 Haedrig caches on Necro & using on DH is making a lot of sense to me. Good luck!

When you unlock your 70 requirement you can instantly get your 58 Bow? This because we dont have the Death Breath for further smithing upgrade right? >-

If you take a wiz first, then the INT gear would carry over right away. A minor point, but something. Also, I am considering finishing through 70 with Necro and then starting another class once I have one or two Haedrig caches earned. Open the gift with the character I want to quickly level and it will fly up to 70 with level 70 gear across the board + some set bonuses. Just remember to only open Haedrig on that other class (don't let muscle memory take over).

@@superevil66666 Yes. I do not know at what point the contents are determined. First you earn Haedrig gift caches, but you don't have to collect them. They are just a notification that you can place into your inventory. I am pretty sure that I have done this in the past, but it has been a few years. I just confirmed this on reddit, and apparently you can even save them and open them after the season (although that would be pretty pointless), but it does show that the character that earns the reward does not need to be the one that open it. The contents match the character class that opens it.
I have a question. Why level to 18 as a nec and then go create other character?
@@lucianofittipaldi6443 First at all i level with stash, so i go on necro coz he is the fastest. After i hit 18 i do a boss bounty chest hopfully get 2 diamonds to unlock the no level req on the alter of rites, equip myself with some lev 70 yellow items and go level on t6. Like raxx told in some vids before.
You could save the boss kill bounty till last and make sure you are 18 going into the boss to improve your chances of diamonds.
You will have enough materials to upgrade blacksmith high enough to create a level 70 web? Along with creating it? Without using the CR bag?
First T1 A2 bounty run gives enough for lvl 60 or 61 weapon. With that weapon you can do 1 or 2 T6 fast bounty, look for cursed chest bounty. Gets you gold for upgrading the blacksmith all the way. Make sure to pick up every yellow item and veiled crystal. 15 of each crafting mat per weapon.
When you were saying, can i please have some gear?, why not do a couple of nephalim rifts? You could easily get huge massacre bonuses in them as well and you get a lot more gear than doing the temple method.
I cant clear GR 20 with 4 piece set... I have same skills set and similar dmg... What could that be?

If you want to know, which bosses to do for season journey, it's Belial & Ghom for chapter 1, Uzrael & Aranea for chapter 2, Zoltun & Rakhanot for chapter 3, and Leoric & Cyadea for chapter 4. Unless it changes since ptr.

It's probably been said but in your test runs since you can't craft multiple 70s to wear without the altar why don't you simulate it by putting a few main stat paragon points in? I know that's a little min max on the simulation but would be a little realistic if nothing else. Because you will have gathered at least a few more yellows for parts.

I personally like bounties, they give you a reason to play through the story zones after you're done with the story. Would you like the game better if they just didn't have anything except Greater Rifts to do? I'm not sure what exactly you dislike about bounties so much other than they're not as rewarding as just slamming GRs, but you've said yourself you don't like GRs to be the only thing the player should do

Curious, why level 43 to equip a level 70 weapon?
by that time you would have the gold needed to level the blacksmith to level 10 so you can craft that gear? i know you did the t1 bounty so you can break threw a point but you still need gold to train and if i remmeber right that takes more time then doing a t1 bountie and or only getting to level 18?
challenge rift cache gives all the gold you need

pretty sure for solo players is better to complete all the bounties related quests right after lvl 18 when you are overpowered for t4 and before lvl 60 for the SJ completion...gr, keywarden and lvl 70 relared quests you can complete them after leveling...pretty sure its more efficient this way.
I'll be doing that but keep in mind that you need 5 jeweller recipes for the 3rd Haedrig's gift. Those only drop from lvl60+ bounty caches.

Necro is significantly faster 1-18 and can also handle T1 for bounty reward (death's breath) if you are doing no cache.
Why not make bounties give clearly defined guaranteed basic blueprints for every single armor set? Then, if you are wearing a full armor set, make RNG higher drop % for ancient and primal ancients of the same set in GRs. Primal ancients should have the max augments already applied or a simple mechanic to add points as augments based on how many GRs above a certain level are completed. 10 GRs = 100 augement points or something like that.

Doing it on necro if you didn't get 18 from the bounties isn't a bad idea. Or do a massacre run on DH later.
If I use the cache for leveling up, do I still follow the guide for upgrading a rare and cubing it? Or do I just craft some lvl 70 stuff and killstreak to 70
It's still a gigantic multiplier for a damaging ability assuming you don't whiff and the mats are trivial in the long run.
Worth noting that with removed level requirement you can just wear the item you craft and it will almost always be better than a yellow in pure stats.
Nice run. Would be better on hardcore 😂 but I imagine doing T4 or so instead of T6 might add an hour or so which is still awesome. Hopefully I do as good season start.

You need gems(1 flawless diamond) to upgrade the altar which gives you the ability to ignore level requirement on any item in season 28. Gems start dropping at lvl 18, guaranteed gems from a lvl 18 boss bounty reward chest. In order to get a level 70 weapon early you need to fully upgrade the blacksmith. You need 1 death's breath(get it from the T1 bounty cache you do on the necro) and a bunch of gold. Necro is he best way to do all that.

Necro to lvl 18 first for multiple reasons: busy servers at season start, everyone will run into trouble creating games. Once you get the diamonds and get the 2nd altar node you can use your items from the necro run on your DH or salvage them for materials. The whole point of the T1 bounty run with necro is to provide the boost for your main char. You don't HAVE to do a necro run but it is more time efficient because of corpse explosion and the lvl 11 enchantress weapon.
Would love to see what leveling to 70 as a Necro looks like time wise instead of Main

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking but you need the 2 diamonds to upgrade to a flawless diamond. During the season you will sacrifice this diamond at the Altar to unlock the "items have no level requirement" node.
Is there anyone in the community that makes guides like this, but for console? The leveling experience is completely different due to the Nephalim Glory double damage(normal PC damage) BS. Its not feasible to start at higher difficulties because of it.

If you go the whole way as necro, can you do one rift and get enough cash to make level 70 weapons for your DH? Could even grab whatever dogshit stuff drops thats level 70 and throw it on him.
im a tad confused.. in another video you say that 97% of the time its better to use the cache but now you say that you are NOT gonna use the cache.. so wich one is it ? lol
He will be blasting 20h+ He won't be using the cache so he can unlock the whole Altar by Saturday. Most casual players won't be playing that much so on Monday they can get another cache. For most people that are not rushing it is better to use the cache and boost your leveling from 1-70 which will be insane with the altar powers.

If you don't ever talk to her her staff converts to blue at lvl11.
Hey Raxx How do you plan with cache level up, because altar has changed and you can't take level requirement buff in 18 i guess cuz it says you need to sacrifice greater rift key , it means you need to be level 70 to open level requirement buff.

Massacre bonus by far. It was the fastest way before they buffed it, but now you should only be doing bounties if you don't get the starting cache.

It’s because a T1 Act 2 bounty gives 1 DB to use to upgrade the smith
How do you have a 58 bow with lvl 1 requirement and no gem of ease in it? Also, I only see a 54 and 60 bow. Not a 58.
In S28 the altar will remove the level requirement after Node 2.

I love your videos just a suggestion you could after reaching lvl 70 get full lvl 70 gear doesn't mater and create a lvl 1 transfer the gear and do t6 bounties ( it does not have a level requirement for bounties ) and open them on the lvl 70 chr and have better lvl 70 gear on it way faster specially if you have thorns on the gear start with the hardest chapter, chapter 2 season journey has a lvl 60 requirement chapter 3 and above lvl 70 requirement

If I sanctify a bunch of gear, will it convert to primal or disappear at the end of the season?
All sanctified items will disappear tomorrow at the end of the season. Either re-roll them in the cube to keep the item but not the stats or salvage them because you can get things like greater rift keys, Act craft mats, deaths breaths, blood shards, and petrified screams. That's also the reason you want to use any extra angelic crucibles on junk legendaries just to salvage them.
