E77: Mid, but very fun to play and not actually stupid annoying to play against. Also, its more of a medium tank abuser than a heavy tank I think. 70 (K): HE shells make this thing NASTY good. -17 degrees of gun depression is more useful than you think, you play this more as an aggressive scout over ridgelines where you only show ur gun over the ridge and try and shoot HE out. Still works as a scout if you need it to, just less than ideal situation for it. 2 loadouts, 1 DPM loadout (vents, rammer, exhaust is my go to. Replace exhaust with turbo or maybe optics if u feel like its needed.) and 1 scouting loadout. (CVS, optics, exhaust.) Project Ion: Skoda T56 what can I say.
I am not the Light Tank guy, my most played t8 light is Hwk30 - as medium hybrid damage dealer. I think this how lkpz70k can end up for me as well.. we will see, not that enthusiastic about. E77, I played some battles and it is ok - as Max put it "fine, not more". E77 fits in to usual t9 premium heavies, mostly ok, not broken but not unplayed - ok, this might not apply to T54Heavy. E77 gave me some headache on how to set it up, so i went on something inbetween - lvl2 survival for HP and module saftey, lvl2 FCS for gun (ok, stabs do more, but quick aiming is also not bad) and a vent. It worked somehow.
8:10 I don't think you realize how many random ridgelines you can shoot from safely with -17 gun dep and such a narrow turret. If you're above enemy tanks (hello Mines' hill), you can sometimes shoot them in spots where they don't even have the gun elevation to shoot back.
Always difficult to review newish tanks, as you are going to get focused by everyone that haven't killed one yet. the E77 is a real arty magnet at present

Why does everyone compare the E77 to E75 or tiger-maus??? Ok i get it it has similar name/its the other german tier 9 premium heavy but ffs they are completely different types of tanks. Its like comparing renegade and defender and saying: "well the renegade is shit because it doesn't have as good armor and alpha as defender." E75 and tiger maus are superheavies. The E77 is more of a medium-heavy hybrid brawler with pretty good mobility, good armor for the mobility and a gun that ok... Isn't the best for long distances but it shreads enemy on close to medium distance. And yeah i get it, the e75 is over all better (probably because its one of the best heavies at tier 9) but isn't that what we wanted? Didn't we cry "oh wg is adding OP premiums that crushes tech tree tanks. The premiums used to be worse version of the tech tree tanks" now you got what yall wanted and you cry about it. Ffs try to be reasonable and compare it to... Idk, e50, or T-10 which also doesn't have that many armor but are fast just like the e77 I got the e77, i wasn't happy about it because everyone on the internet was saying its shit after comparing it to e75 and/or tigermaus, then i started to play it , got all the field mods, tried few setups and now i love the tank. I even put my only bond turbo on it For example my secondary setup is HP, growsers in mobility slot, bond turbo and turbo directive + excelent fuel. This thing then has 20hp/ton and goes faster up hill then a lot of mediums. And when it goes down the hill towards enemy it shreads them into pieces by ramming them
To be honest, T92 has better aim time, better shell velocity, better gun softstats, 5 more kph reverse speed, more camo and 20m more view range. I have both lights and I perform way better in T92 so... yea
The E77 feels kinda bad for me. I have all the field mods which allows me to get up to 50km/h, however the gun is so damn inaccurate I'm getting anger issues. Lkpz 70 on the other hand is a brilliant tank imo. For spotting it's decent, however the DMG it can deliver with that high HE and very good gun-handling is insane. If this thing hat like 2.2K base DPM I'd call it broken (not op)
The Siege mode transformed the STB when you learn to play it and remember to use it and peek only forward on ridges it's the best brawler med. And so is the UDES.
The only tank with the auto siegemode that works is udes15/16 and it works because it has bit more alpha and turret armor and stealth so it can get away with creeping in and taking a shot.
LKpz - is Leichtpanzer (roughly). I imagine that translates to light panther? As for the gimmic... yeah, it is. But in certain locations it would be OP as heck. The hill with the lighthouse, for example. STB1 or 103Bs up there can absolutely slaughter anything below, even many tanks tucked in tight. On Himmelscrap they could potentially hit tanks in access points to the banana road. But, as with many vehicles, its advantages are *HUGELY* situational.

my 2 cents are: they added the light tank for Frontline. It is not all about random games. in comparison like the Obj 140 is better than the 430, but the 430 is now a Onslaught favorite. So in conclusion the question is: *For what game mode is a tank made?* PS: the Caernavon is a great example that we need skill based matchmaking a bit more, so he can play more often withe the following IS-6 ^_^
Ohgod please no sbmm that would absolutely kill the game imo. Having some lovely potatoes on your team or enemy team is nice eventho it can be frustrating I think it's absolutely key. That's why I love battlefield 4. No sbmm, keeps it fun and casual instead of sweaty like CoD for example where it's sbmm only

Alot of the T9 prems are lacking in credit making I kinda wish they made the bond limit higher so there would be bigger insentive to play them

T92 is way smaller. It's a better scout but a lousy damage dealer. I often don't even bother shooting with only 150 DMG per shot lmao

Have you tried dropping vents and putting a turbo on the E77? With the final field mod you get 49km/h top speed.
