so I think I'll be selling those two to get this.
Plus I'm planning on doing some small films, so this lens seems like it was made for me
I really love my 16-28 on my fx30 which is pretty close to the 20-40 on my Sony a7sIII and i am pretty suprised how much i love that range

Versus the Sony 16-35 GM f/2.8, on paper this Tamron's key advantage is the lighter weight which would feel more balanced paired to the ZV-E1. What I'd be concerned about is the IBIS not working as well.
I've already had 16-35 F4 PZ. Wanna get ZV-E1. In this case, do you think it's worth it selling 16-35 to get it? I mean, I guess my question comes down to 16-35 vs 20-40.

I've seen videos showing how much of a difference the stabilisation is from the Sony 20-70mm F4. Does it make a big difference in the ZV-E1?
what lens would you recommend for Filmmaking? I'm pulling the trigger on the ZV-E1 (not worried about overheating as I shoot bursts anyways..) and I was thinking of getting this lens or the sigma 24-70 / tamron 28-75.. or a prime lens but idk which one lol

hey i am considering between ZV E1 and may be A7 mIV... if i was to use ZV E1 for real estate videos and so on do you think i would run into any issues? especially overheating? (I am guessing may be not? because it is just burst of short footages?)

I like the idea, but I think I like the Sony 20 1.8 G
I love f 1.8-2.8 aperture when I’m filming others, and myself when I’m about 10 feet away from the camera .
But I use F4 or even higher aperture when I’m filming myself around 5 feet away from the camera. I realize that the dynamic range looks (feels)better at f4 than f1.8 during this situation, the sky or background is just too blurry at f1.8 that the dynamic range is weakened ( I feel this way) I use R6 rf35 1.8 Anyway, love your videos, it’s good always learning Seth for you🎉

Running with my R6 MKii and still using EF lenses. I'm tired of the autofocus clicking sound and I'm far too annoyed at Canon to buy their mirrorless lenses. I'm highly considering moving to a light weight setup and getting a camera from a company that listens to their customers feedback.
Changing lens is not for me. Once i have a zoom lens, i always forgot to change to prime lens. I find i’m just one-lens-guy for covering event. It is really hard to change lens. But i still love boleh. So probably a 2.8 aperture zoom lens is good for me. But i have ZVE1 so i don’t want heavy lens. So Tamron 20-40mm could be the one.
That’s the lens I put in the cart 3x… still ends up over $3k with storage every time I put it in there… ever tried the Tanron 20mm? It’s cheap….

I agree. I had the Tamron 20-40. Great lens. But the Active Stab on non Sony lenses is far less effective. I wish it wasn’t so, but alas.
