I’m new at leather crafting. I purchased some leather crafting tools and I was able to repair and enhance about four or five leather watch bands. I have no prior experience and so far, I love it. My next project is making my own unique wrist watch band and a leather mask based on your video. Great video, awesome skill. Thank you.
Craftsmanship of the masters. When I put on ma leather I made, and rock to sum Metallica, Delta Parole, Foo Fighters or the Smashing Pumpkins I feel like I can do anything in the whole wide world.

You can buy AC filters or Vacuum filters with the same ratings as an N95 mask. 3M and Honeywell have large Home AC filters at Homedepot, Lowes, Walmart and you just disassemble therm, cut them to the size u need and put them in between your face and really anything that'll hold it in place. Head scarfs, old shirts, pillow cases, sheets...

Washing may warp the leather, but maybe a warm rag with some soap lightly rubbed and then wiped away. Alcohol based sanitizers may also pull out dye if the item is a dyed leather, just a heads-up. I hope this helps!

Legacy Brand Leather I would just add velcro inside of the mask and a double layer or cotton cloth to use as a antibacterial mask. I would use it as is as a dust mask but the way things are now im sure people are looking for some sort of protection.
I've heard that some people use UV light to disinfect leather or use a small amount of alcohol to clean the surface. Then But I think the filter should be designed to be replaceable.🤔🤔

There are plenty of free medical face covering patterns around the web. I am a small business owner; all of my pattern sales go towards supporting my business and my family. Cheers.

Legacy Brand Leather i think his point is that you are using the attention around a serious issue to get more views and to sell something that could be a free giveaway if we werent in a crisis, you would probably benefit more overall giving this for free and attracting the genuine attention and goodwill of an audience, but now instead of searching through your videos to see what else i may like i am less likely to watch your content when it comes up in a leatherworking search

Would be great if you could insert a disposable filter you know those n95 but by now they are gone in any market...

Do you know how to disinfect leather masks?
You can't really wash them in the traditional sense. I do not recommend them for sickness/illness prevention, if that is your intended purpose.
You have to use a replaceable filter, cant water it or use alcohol on it
