I am extremely impressed and actually quite awestruck by this amazing list. It beautifully demonstrates the breadth and depth of knowledge in gay movies of this channel host. Such knowledge transcends both time (because some of the movies are pretty old) and geography and it therefore lends a lot of credibility to this channel. It does not neglect lesser known and/or foreign movies (e.g. Undercurrent). It does not overlook low-budget movies. Yet, at the same time, it also does not intentionally avoid mentioning bigger-budget and more mainstream movies with famous actors (e.g. The Normal Heart, Brokeback Mountain, Call Me By Your Name, etc.). It is such a thoughtful and well-compiled list. Believe it or not, I have watched every single movie mentioned in this video, and there are a few titles (e.g. Redwoods, Keep the Lights on) which I wasn't terribly impressed by the first time when I watched them, but thanks to this video, I promise myself I will re-watch them to see what I missed the first time. Thank you so much for your amazing effort and your wisdom.
All these films are very beautiful indeed and I look forward to watching every single one of them. The only one that I have seen for sure however is PRAYERS FOR BOBBY. It was very powerful, heartbreaking and very encouraging with pure happiness. I look forward to watching it again very soon for Sigourney Weaver has always been a very wonderful actress for more than 30 years. I have actually seen about half or more of these films. But the single one that you have seen -- "Prayers For Bobby" -- is uniquely powerful. Yes, it is based on a true story, which adds to its poignancy. Usually I watch all films for story development. I'm more interested in the stories than the acting. But the 2nd time I watched "Prayers For Bobby," I concentrated on Sigourney Weaver's performance. My God, how powerful! The range of emotions she had to portray through the course of the film! I think few actresses could have done it so convincingly. The movie just breaks your heart till you beg for healing -- as her character did. 😞😢
