It's supposed to give you that drumline feel. They created this with the UCLA drum and jazz bands and with a gospel chorus (who also worked with them on Hobi's MOTS solo song Ego). There is a video showing it on bangtan tv. It very much is an anthem of them saying they aren't fucking giving up even if it hurts.
FYI : They once said they had planned to enlist for military service after releasing this song and the album, 'Map of the Soou:7', in 2020 and completing a world tour. However, the unexpected pandemic began, forcing all their plans to change. Always very interesting to hear your analysis and comments : )
Ohh "ON" actually has very interesting documentary it is like 20 minuts it is called "On Comentary Film: dialogue" it is on BTS chanel, it shows all musicans tak take part on this song and few more on album Map of the soul 7.
Yeahhhh Drumline. I used to love that movie. Don't know how it holds up since I haven't seen it in a minute. But yeah this is one of those hype songs for sure.
Thanks for reacting to this one! Even though this video is one of my favorite things ever, I do agree on that transition out of the dance break. It's the one flaw IMO. 💜
I had a feeling you’d like this one. But just FYI, this isn’t even the MV. LMAO, you watched the right one cause this one became so beloved by army that we basically treat it as the MV, but there is an actual MV for ON that looks very different and has a lot more story telling associated with the concept of the MOTS album
The Young Lady at the top with the Fierce Glare is Sienna Lalau, the Choreographer! They were working on this being the showcase of the tour that was cancelled due to COVID-19. They filmed them learning the news, totally heartbreaking.
Hi Jurn hope all is good! Had to chill after work and watch your reaction. Definitely one of my favorites! You should check out when they performed in grand Central station….awesomeness!! I was so proud 💜
Actually I agree with you. That transition always bothered me and kind of interrupts the flow a little bit. Felt rushed, like it needed some more fine tuning. Thanks for the reaction. Also, not PTD sticking to you like that. It's very catchy and bright, I'll give it that.
this goes hard on concert and they do sing all of it (also the jk solo) while dancing which makes it even more remarkable

It’s a timeless coming of age story. 😂😂
There are several live videos of this song. One is in Grand Central Station/Jimmy Fallow.
And you are right it is big song anthem like and they starter PTD concerts with it. It is full of energy.
You should check this song live it's sounds even more better especially the Grand central live peformace is iconic

Ayee Drumline. Drumline made me fall in love with band and join it in high school. So you know I love ON ! 🔥

She's so amazing! 💜
Glad you like it! I wouldn't have understood the opposite! This song is very "massive" and perfect for stadium.
Even if you hated it, your body's reactions and facial expressions said you loved it!!! ❤ What? No outfit critiques???? Youse slippin' boy!!!!😅😊

Техеееен❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤милый безумно красивый умный Шуга 😊😊😊😊😊
Just an FYI, the dance break is not in the actual song.
Ohh transition you are right bc dance break is only on MV and when they do song live it isn't in album audio.
I would love for you to react to BTS: The Truth Untold. It's a ballad sung by the vocal line.
Also if you don't know there is another mv of this song this was more like a peformace

Yooo. Appreciate you check out Morrison x ghetts - paranoid
