As a former Northern Californian (born there) I know about the Giant Redwoods along the coast. Loved them then and love them now. Like you I used to get car sick riding in the back seat! So as a kid I used to ride in the front seat with mom and dad. Loved it!
I have just found your channel, and I love these cards.. I have the papers and the stamp and die set. I am going to have a go at making these.. Thank you.
Again thank you! I love that the measurements are detailed. It lets me focus on the aesthetics. Card making is definitely analytical (measurements) and creative ( selection of stamps, paper and embellishments).
You can toot your horn cause this is gorgeous! I love it! I had to stop the video and run to your blog to print off the tutorial. I hear you about the car sick thing. I too was one of those kids in the rear facing station wagon window down inhaling the exhaust fumes. I survived and prefer driving. My hubby likes being chauffeured lol.
Thank you for this great tutorial, Wendy. In the Netherlands we do not have these amazing sequoia trees, but my husband and I went to see them in Yosemite park about ten years ago. I love trees in the fall; the colors of the leaves are indeed stunning in that period. In short, thank you for the pdf and the story and the tutorial. Big hugs, Brigitte
LOVE, LOVE this card; thank you for sharing! I can sympathize regarding the motion sickness! I've had it all my life; then I discovered Sea Bands...and Bonine.
Gorgeous cards! Thank you 💕 I put a piece of tear in’ tape down my trimmer and just left the backing on the side that goes toward the trimmer. Works perfectly! I grew up in Arnold for a bit… The sequoias are amazing! My grandparents lived in Carlsbad NM so the Caverns were our “go every summer and take visitors” trip.
I love that story. Butter my butt and call me biscuit had me in stitches. I am in love with that card. Wish I lived in USA so I could take one of your classes. This stamp is one of the must haves in my stash. I think it will be one classic stamp we can rely on often for many event celebrations. Loved this presentation. Thank you for sharing Wendy. Happy New Year.
My classes are available for purchase for those outside the US. You just have to check my website at www.luvinstampin.com and then go to learning and online classes. When I have one available you can access it there.
This is absolutely beautiful, and it is so easy. Thank you for sharing the story, I have never seen the giant trees yet and will have to make a trip from Utah to see them in the fall. Hugs from afar stay safe.
Beautiful card. The embellishments are impressive. Thanks so much for the project sheet. Your Halloween story was very convincing & fun! I need to tell you there was a small house next door to where I grew up. It was a rental & the tenants kept changing. One mature couple had an "open" marriage. We would see him coming in with younger women & her going out on a date with younger men. Note this was waaay before computer dating. Being unfaithful to your spouse was NOT accepted. They moved away together!? Many stories about that house are told when we get together still. This is true & one of many tenants over the years.
Is being unfaithful to your spouse ever acceptable!? I just don’t understand the idea of an open marriage. Crazy people. Lol I’m glad you like the card and I’m glad you told me your creepy house story. ☺️
That card is absolutely gorgeous!!! Wendy, after listening to your storytime I realized I do not live very far from you🥰. I know so many of the places you mentioned. I had to to laugh Stars Hollow and true crime LOL 🤣 That's me!!!
I love love this fun fold card. So beautiful and looks fun to create. I will check out your blog to purchase the PDF as I live in Canada. And I do love your stories. Fun to listen to. Thanks for sharing :-)
wow you reminded me of when we came to the stats years ago and drove from san fran to vagas and trew yosamity we also saw the sequoia trees so beautifull love your card and storie thanks from melbourne australia
Hi Wendy I am a new subscriber and had to tell you how I enjoyed watching you make this beautiful card. Your do it so effortlessly. Thank you for sharing 😊
Card is awesome!! Going to use it in our card ministry!!! Thaks and on your trailer comment. We bought one not too long ago and have no trouble with it. It is awesome!!! But when you think about it it goes down the road at 60 and bouncing all the way something should give. ?? right??
Love the card. I cased it and had no problem following along. Thanks so much for this and the pdf. I have a question though, you have Smoky Slate ink pad listed but I didn’t see where you used it, watched and rewound numerous times. Did I miss it? Also, I put Tear & Tape on back side of the plastic on trimmer which makes it easier to see the measurements
Instead of White paper on your trimmer bar I put tear and tape on the bottom side under the ruler. Don’t take the other side of of the tape off. Works great never comes off.
Hi Wendy, I didn't see your blog anywhere so I can make this card. Where can I find the measurements on how to make this card?? All of these cards are extremely beautiful. Thanks

Where are the big trees - my sister lives in El Dorado Hills - Is that close!
It’s about a 2 ish hour drive from Eldorado hills
wow !
Très jolie mais où sont les mesures 🤔
How do these cards stand up if the front is shorter than the back ?
There's a piece in the front that is as long as the back. So it stands up :)
@@WendyCranford It looked to me that the piece of card you mounted the black on to was bigger all round :)
Bonjour j aimerai bien faire la carte mais c’est dommage car je suis français puis aussi j aimerai bien savoir les mesures tous les papiers ? Et aussi pliage
I have been searching for the sheet to print of with all the measurements on, can anyone please help me, it's for the side shutter card.
Link is under “supplies are linked below. For more info ……”. Then open in Chrome or whichever you prefer.
I can’t find the printable instructions.
