  • Today I have a few more fun ways you can use the fractured card technique in your card making. The cards feature the Earthen Textures Bundle from Stampin’ Up! However, keep in mind that you can use any supplies you have on hand with this technique.

Looked complicated, but you showed and described how easy it actually is!!!!

I glued pieces just like the square, one at a time. The next strip, cut end diagonally to butt up at the corner so I had no overlap bulky areas.

I thought you were going to have to cut angles, so very cleaver doing the underneath tucks! Very nice cards!

This is so cool and such a unique look. I've not seen this layout before. I'm so glad YOU figured out how to lay the strips around the larger shape as I'm not "McGyver minded" (lol)!!! Adding white paper to the "square fracture" helped calm the busy paper and direct the eye to the sentiment (good call by you)!. I had "goo goo" eyes looking at the card without the white paper!!! TFS a fun idea!

Yes, this technique really helps to break up a busy paper pattern. Have fun with it!
