I actually discovered my introvert side because of leathercraft, spent my covid time (late 2019 to early 2021) absolutely alone leathercrafting multiple days at a time and be absolutely fine. Love this podcast!!

Randomly found this today and enjoyed listening in while I worked at my full time job. I really felt the comment about seeing other crafters’ work can be inspiring but gets me discouraged about my work sometimes. Got a like and subscribe from me after listening in.

Hey from 🇬🇧 I really like the concept and hope you keep creating. There’s plenty of subjects, tips/trick and business ideas that you can cover. I can’t wait for episode 2!!!

I know this video is like 2 years old, but I just discovered this podcast.
Anyway, I just want to say hi. I also got my leather degree from TH-cam. About 97% I know, I have learned from TH-cam Leather craft videos.

LOVE THIS GUYS! The leathercast scene needs more saturation. There's some out there but they are inactive or boring. Keep it up guys!

Hey! I can give you a couple of topics. I noticed that you haven't done a podcast in awhile now.
      1. Discuss different tools, different manufactures and techniques you use while crafting.
      2. Discuss how to fund your hobby (it's expensive to buy leathers all the time)
      3. Discuss the traditional aspects of leathercraft and how inspiring it's to be a part of one of the oldest crafts
      4. Discuss different experience in regards to selling your items. Markets vs Webshop; pros and cons for each? How did you start selling?
      5. Discuss how to select a specific leather for a certain task. Why use shoulder instead of side? etc..
      6. Discuss how to gather experience and information. Did you take formal classes? Video courses? Peter Nitz? Phil Jury? Nigel Armitage? Books? Which books? Review them and tell us your viewpoints.
      7. Interview other leathercrafters but also people who make handmade stuff overall.
      8. Discuss what you would have liked to know before starting your own leathercraft journey
      9. Discuss Veg vs Chrome leather. Also tell us about your own leather items and why you decided to make just those.
      10. Discuss Recommendations for getting better practice. How to get better? How often do you make an item? Or do you just practice stitching on scraps?
      11. What does leathercraft mean to you? Are you pursuing to start your own full-time career or side hustle? Crafting as therapy?
etc etc etc :) Some of these topics you could make a couple of episodes of. Also keep the episodes around the 25-30 min mark.
      12. Discuss the creative process? How do you come up with new designs? Books regarding design and template making?
But it's important to interview people, it's hard to keep a monolog. I have been doing podcasting myself for a couple of years now (not leathercraft podcast though). It's much much easier to create entertaining content while speaking to some other people. Btw I also use the Rode Procaster, amazing microphone, I use it with a DBX 286s Preamp, one for each mic.
