    It Happened! Elon Musk Revealed Crazy Concept Battery LTO, That Break All Industry!
    ========
    Their final product is a new battery with a life cycle of up to 30,000 cycles equivalent to 82 years and optimize the charging time 10 minutes.
    So what type of battery is being mentioned? How does it play an inevitable role in the transformation of this industry?
    But before we begin, make sure you subscribe if you haven’t already and ring the bell so you’ll never miss out on future updates from Tesla Car World. Now that we’ve taken care of all that, let’s get started on today’s episode!
    Lithium titanate battery (LTO)- the chemical formula is Li2TiO3 and the anode material is lithium titanate. It is a rechargeable battery that has the advantage of charging faster and longer life cycle than other lithium-ion batteries.
    The first question is, what are the pricing advantages of LTO batteries?
    To highlight the price advantages,making comparisons between the same voltage of 40 Ah 3.2V the price of LTO battery is 38.70 USD which is nearly 10.00 USD cheaper when compared to the price of 48.58 USD lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. In addition, you will save 13.95 USD by purchasing an electric car by using an LTO battery instead of a car using a lithium-ion battery for 52.65 USD. To be honest, the price of electric vehicles will be influenced by reducing battery prices. Therefore, when a product is powered by any type of battery, the price of that battery determines the price of the product.
    So, what stands out about the life cycle of LTO batteries?

    Toshiba has been making LTO batteries for over 30 years. I bought 40 batteries out of 1991 Honda Fits that were still holding a minimum of 97% of original charge. I am using them on my off-grid farm in North Idaho. I had to build a new system after my previous system using LIPO caught fire from charging them at -29C that was too cold to be charging them. I have charged my LTO battery bank as low as - 52C without any problems. In the winter months my battery bank stays fully charged due to the high C rate.

    This has the potential to make cross country trips in an EV!!! You can charge it in the same time frame as filling a gasoline tank on your car. It also makes a solar powered home more affordable without having to replace batteries every 5-7 years and eliminates the inherent fire risk associated with Li batteries. Their ability to dump large quantities of energy quickly also makes it possible to use in a shop where machinery like welders are used. The biggest challenge will be finding solar panels that will produce more efficient electricity per square meter of surface to keep the batteries recharged without requiring a large field of panels to do so!!

    These batteries are closer to supercapacitors than batteries in charge and discharge characteristics. Combine them with a conventional deep cycle tech to give a high energy punch when and where needed. Solar pump starting is one example.

    LTO cells are good in the buses as they can be charged quickly when picking up people at the bus stop every few miles. I do use the 30AH * 2.3v cells for solar storage at home as I wanted a safe battery. I ordered direct from China to Uk which took about 12 weeks to be delivered. Worked out a lot cheaper than buying them in the Uk. I got 48 in total, each one holding up to 69watts, very heavy so no good for cars. I ordered in 3 batches when we had Brexit and customs rules and fees had been relaxed so I did not have to pay any taxes or import duties. 2 of the cells have leaked.

    I'm excited about the potential of LTO (Lithium Titanate Oxide) batteries. As we make progress in improving their energy density and battery size, LTO has the potential to revolutionize the energy storage landscape.
    Since 2018, I've been closely following the developments in this field, and it seems like we are getting closer to realizing their full potential. It's truly remarkable to imagine a battery that not only offers enhanced safety by eliminating the risks of smoking or ignition but also recharges within just 10 minutes - the perfect time to grab a coffee.
    LTO batteries hold great promise for delivering high power output, quick response times, and frequent charging cycles. As we continue to advance the technology and scale up production, we can anticipate further improvements in energy density and cost-effectiveness. LTO batteries truly have the potential to be a game-changer in various industries and applications.
    Just need the cost to be lower to install as a Home PV battery.

      AFTER MANY MIDDLEMAN AND MARCUS IT'S JUST THREE FIGURES EXTRA OP THE BIKES THAT ARE OFTEN OVER$10,000.
      SCHWINN UNDERSTOOD THE VALUE OF A SMALL ELECTRIC BATTERY FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T PEDDLE UPHILL WHICH IS BASICALLY EVERYBODY IN PLACES LIKE SAN FRANCISCO IF YOU WANT TO GO FASTER THAN WALKING SPEED.
      But is this video Mansions once the audience which was my bike buyers saw the battery cell it was pulled from the micro mobility market and all but Japan.
      So imagine our fellow mammals flying small or not bats.
      To the car industry they can be vampires indeed.
      The Google AI system provides a link p to the website of Mazda to prove that it is using the Toshiba Titan aid batteries for the Mazda SUV in the United Kingdom & Bard also says that although it's not produced by Toshiba several German e-bike makers since 2020 have used LTo.
      Like the maker of this video Google is delusional however.
      Don't believe something is true just because they give you a website they provided a website because people provide websites when they're trying to prove something and has nothing to do with whether what you're trying to prove exists.
      It is possible because it is the way it should be.
      I don't know about the figures at the beginning of this video they seem completely based upon actual cost of holding overtime.
      Titanium is not cheap and its price as little to do with nanocrystals of its oxide it's your mainly a similar-sounding name.
      The specifications that I provide in this video are not for Toshiba not for its past.
      Toshiba's excellence requires a company like zapbatt.

I've never had a lithium-ion battery explode orgo into thermal runaway, but I know people this has happened to. This is where the electric car will come into it's own, when charging times significantly drop and sustained output in a very large temperature bracket will now be possible.

    Fully charged in 10 minutes sounds great and lasting 82 years is icing on the cake, but you didn't mention range. If you can only go around the black before your out of juice, that's not so good. If you can fully charge in ten minutes and have a range of 750 miles plus. Now your talking!!

    • @ghz24
      @ghz24 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Range isn't a function of battery chemistry but battery capacity.
      For the same mass or volume these will not get as much range as a standard lithium ion.
      Range is over emphasized 100 miles is completely adequate for most peoples everyday use.

    Building a battery to age inside a car, or a car that ages around a battery is a stupid idea in the first place, the future is swapping! Whether that be swapping the whole battery, or electrodes is up to debate. This has a whole plethora of advantages, such as making it independent of the car value, safety in case of fires is better when you can isolate the battery, being able to store energy from green sources, zero charging time for the end user, lower vehicle weight if you can choose a light battery for daily grocery hauling, and a heavier one only when longer rides are required. High speed charging also puts massive load on the electrical net, it just does not make sense to do that for a large amount of vehicles...period....

    • @pravindahiya719
      @pravindahiya719 ปีที่แล้ว

      let me help ! an LTO cell has upper volgage of 2.9 V , nominal @ 2.3 V & lower @ 1.5 V.
      you may take 10 cells in series ( nominal = 23 V , higher = 29 V , lower = 15 V )
      a typical 24 volt system ( generally Lead Acid based ) has a higher threshold of 28.4 volt & lower at 20 volts.
      so you will need to design the cut off system separately for the inverter.
      for 320 Ah , you should connect 8 cells of 40 Ah in parallel.
      regarding weight & size :
      1 cell weighs 1.2 kg. given that your system has
      80 cells ( i.e. 10×8 ) , it will be 96 kg + nuts / connectors etc.
      size : the cell is approx 20 cm long ( including the bolts at both ends ) & a diameter of 6.6 cm.
      two points to be careful about are -
      1) they will give 20,000 cycles at 2 C only , not higher charging / discharging rates.
      2) purchase direct from the manufacturer , a lot of used cells ( with reduced capacity & life ) are floating in the market ! 👍

However, what they don't tell you is that very few public chargers can handle that sort of fast charge and of course the silence over the range these batteries offer is deafening. Despite this so called miracle advance, an EV is still only for the gullible with big pockets that have bought into this net zet zero nonsense.

      " relating to, conforming to, or having a thermometer scale on which the interval between the freezing and boiling points of water is divided into 100 degrees with 0° representing the freezing point and 100° the boiling point." Merriam-Webster
