I have started react native in 2020, at that time also i faced these initial setup issues, its 2024 still I see setup issues across the internet, why that dev team not making the setup clearer?
This virtual machine is screwing up my PC on my Desktop i7/32 GB of RAM when I clicked play on it it reset my PC, on my notebook i7/16 GB I tried twice, the same thing happened, I clicked play on it for 2 seconds black screen and PC starting. Friend, you saved me, I was from 11 am until now 5 pm trying to compile and I had this glans error but I had SDK 35, JRE 11 and Gradle 8.6 as a very inexperienced user on Android I had a problem, I made the same settings that you have sdk34, jre 17 and gradle 8.5 and now it works.
I have one doubt. I created a React Native CLI Android project on my HP laptop with Windows 10 OS, made some changes, and created a simple React Native CLI app. Now, if I want to create an iOS version, can I copy and paste the same project onto a Mac, open it in VS Code, and use the iOS emulator to create the iOS version?
Can you create a very simple one-page app in Windows using React Native CLI for Android, and then use a Mac to open that project and create the iOS version?
I have an error "error Failed to install the app. Command failed with exit code 1: gradlew.bat app:installDebug " after instatation "npm install react-native-screens react-native-safe-area-context" please give the solution for it
