I feel like we're building something that will shape the future here - but something open and available to developing countries so EVERYONE can become a super-designer! Much love!
Thank you for everything! Currently, it is challenging to find something affordable. Your courses provide a significant opportunity to learn without a substantial financial burden, and that's truly amazing. You are the kindest person. 🎉🎉🎉
These videos are helping me become a better designer. Seriously, it can be overwhelming to just rely on information from mentors and others if it’s not well structured.
Will be signing up! Really appreciate coming from East Africa 🌍!!! Been saving up to fit your courses in my budget and sometimes it feels like an uphill battle against the dollar 😢. I don't mind cause the value you give is immeasurable & you should be compensated for it. Plus my skills are improving a lot with your guidance! So, this is extremely generous and I'll be sharing with more people around me who are interested in design. I already got one bundle and finished the 90 day challenge. Thanks for making this journey easier, more hopeful and more inclusive!
Thank you Nadine! We tried to set up a parity pricing for most countries, if you're in Africa and you don't see it please email us with which country you're at and we'll add it (we might've missed a couple places as it's done manually). As for the challenges, with the pro plan the daily UI can be re-done and versions 1 and 2 displayed on the profile to see your own progress + we are uploading the next challenge in a few days and the the information architecture one mid-February :)
@@MalewiczHype oh yes I got it! Super excited for the challenges as well, especially the information architecture one. In the "portfolio checklist for success in 2024" you mentioned adding multiple generalist skills. Since I did something similar unknowingly in the past, and it came naturally, I was planning to add it to my portfolio as I honed other relevant skills. This challenge will help a lot! 😁 improving my previous designs will also be super amazing 😩🔥 You're really cool! Not taken for granted. I'll always support your good work throughout my journey.
Personally i don't watch your content just because of Design. I watch your content from all the Platforms because you are a great example of how i want to live Ex: - Enjoying life alone - Very disciplined man - Never stuck in one position Good job Michal, i will support you no matter what 😊🖤
Congratulations Michal. A great platform and a great initiative. I wish you great success and constant development. I think that for a person who does everything at once, this platform will help them do this UI for an hour a day. Nice solution and I will sign up soon. For now, I'm developing my startup and I'm reading typical business books. I keep my fingers crossed for further development and see you on the 2.0 platform!
Awesome! We're also adding new challenges so it won't be just about UI, we have marketing challenges planned as well (social media post creation with best practices etc). This will be a big big thing :)
Im coming from your books, im a front and dev but just happened to be doing designs in adobe photoshop and illustrator sincr the past 8 years. So somehow, i your books make me understand design not on the front end dev level, but to the designer level. Thanksss.
Many thnx @MalewiczHype for the platform updates, can't wait to join! As someone who is completely new to UI/UX design (and zero knowledge in Figma) I am confused about the order of the courses/challenges I should take . Should I first do all the courses and then the challenges, and if yes - should I start from UX course then to Web design course bundle... to UI mobile bundle? Many tnx!
Hi! Thanks for the support! 1. I have a pinned video on this channel that talks about the best way to start from scratch. 2. If you're a beginner in Figma I also made a super-beginner YT video on Figma - also available here - to watch that first 3. The challenges are guided so once you get the basics in (probably best to just do the mobile app ui course before the challenges) you will be fine Hope that helps! :)
There will be many portfolio related videos this year (problem statements and being unique I also covered in my "don't be boring" course). The TH-cam videos will be coming in the next weeks / months and they'll be available on the platform a little earlier (usually)
I could not find anywhere on Hype4 to ask a question. (I am a pro member now yay!) I just started the first Daily UI & I'm not sure if I should explicitly follow the design or make it my own. Also, I've heard before that squares are spacers, but I have never used them as a designer, just made things not feel crowded. Is the red square supposed to be the size of the X? Say for 16 point Inter, it's 12. Should my red square be a little 12x12? Also an idea for future Daily UI. Might people be able to pick days of the week when starting the challenge? I work open-close Tu Fri Sat & nothing will get done those days.
There is a question section in the dashboard and it seems like you already did ask one :) The answers will go live on Tuesday as people are still submitting theirs.Red square is supposed to be generally multiple sizes based on grid so 8,12,16,20,24,32,40
Hey, I just completed my first ux case study app with the help of your videos and UI course. Now I need to actually write my case study, should I write it on notion?
I'd go with Medium as the platform, it has more reach. And ideally go with a self-hosted portfolio that you can use a tool like hotjar to track what visitors do on it (for example how much of the case study do they even read)
I bought the subscription but I didn't get the course "Design Better UI: Mobile Apps", maybe it's because I didn't understand well if that course was included :(
No, the courses are separate from the PRO plan. There is however a parity discount for most developing countries that works when you pick the country (automatically)
I have a question about the challenge guides. I already did the 90 day UI challenge (I enjoyed it and I feel like it helped me improve) but I don't understand the purpose of the guide for someone who already did it. Is it only meant for new people working on the challenges? Or are people who already finished it supposed to go back and get more understanding of how to do the challenges? I really liked the daily challenges and I want a new project to focus on, so I wasn't sure if the guides might be it
Hi! So first of all for PRO users they can go back and re-do the challenges one more time (for daily UI) with the guides and on their profile it will show both versions. It's a great way to improve. However guides are a part of a larger strategy as we are adding other challenges to the platform (not just the daily UI) and they will also have guides.
Yes. You can do the challenges for FREE. The only difference is that paid accounts have guides to each challenge and we give them feedback on what they upload.
Udemy courses are MUCH lower quality. The problem with dropping the prices is how much running the platform and the video DRM hosting services costs. Under some values we would be losing money. It's literally as low as possible. And there are discounts available too.
I just registered on your platform and want to buy mobile UI course. If i don't like it i will be disappointed because of price. On udemy there is option of refund and also price is low. So scale of disappointment is low in this case. That's why i prefer to have some discount if u don't mind. @@MalewiczHype

It will be included in early March, we're getting it ready for subscription release :)
Hello!, I am from Chile 🇨🇱 , South America, do the classes have support for subtitles in Spanish?
The daily UI challenges guides are in text so a browser translation to Spanish works on them :)

the only sad thing about the website is you can't delete your account if you don't use it :S
You can - it's explained in the FAQ. This is the only way because of how gumroad courses are authenticated on our site.

Many of us won't be able to pay the subscription unfortunately,
The free version is there for you too! And for many countries the price is parity so half ($3 per month)
@@MalewiczHype Can you please explain how this parity works? Why from Romania I had to pay $7,14?
