    Your detailed breakdown of the five levels for junior designers is incredibly helpful for those looking to improve their design skills. Can you share a specific tip or technique that junior designers often overlook when trying to reach Level 4 or above?

  • @abdoo3301
    @abdoo3301 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    The level 1 might be indeed rare but i have seen so many of those in "self guided" community groups especially from Google UX Course ☠️ and the typos are even in some level 4 work too, about time people start giving "copy" the due attention it needs. Besides that, as always golden content and the transitions were 🎯😎

    • @MalewiczHype
      @MalewiczHype  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah typos happen - of course, but in a portfolio it's really crucial to check it every single time and just be sure :) Thanks!

      I would Agree that some people as you've said, self Guided provide worst design in Google Ux Course. But not everyone is bad, I've encountered some quite talended designers on Google Ux Design course.

    As much as I am impressed with the flashy marketing (in attempt to get us to purchase your courses) and the great editing of the video with the impressive designs you have included, it doesn't matter how "SKILLED" the designer is for level 5 if they don't even know how to use auto layouts and make repeatable components in the design.

    • @MalewiczHype
      @MalewiczHype  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I disagree. People need to learn how to make something good, autolayout and components are for larger projects with dev work, but what buts you in is a very strong visual side. Not tools.

    I've observed on thing that managing consist spacing is quite challenging. You've to divide the frame and design elements in systematic way to achieve it.
    For most of my Designs I'm on level 4 and sometimes on 5.

    • @MalewiczHype
      @MalewiczHype  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, that is very important. Even with bad typography and colors, if spacing is right it will feel instantly better.

      There's other factors too - like networking, thinking outside of the box, having enough stuff in your portfolio and being open minded. Those levels are just the minimum entry for UI roles, given everything else is also in place.

      no, ai will not replace designers. Having strong generalist skills is super important though- ui, ux, some strategy and business skills, and soft skills.

    dude no one designs like level 1, and just because you are in level 5 doesn't mean you will get a job... just UI doesn't mean anything

    • @MalewiczHype
      @MalewiczHype  ปีที่แล้ว

      You'd be surprised how many level 1 projects I receive for feedback - from all over the world.
      And UI does matter for a lot of companies. So no, level 5 doesn't guarantee you a job, but being under level 4 practically guarantees you won't get one.
