- Hey you guys, going to try to upload more often once finals are over! Going to make a highlight and contour routine video with tips later this week! Anyway, i just wanted to quickly compare both Avela and Orce just because the difference isn't too obvious when you wear them separately. I did so many different lighting to show you how the colors really do change in different areas, again Avela is the darker and i suppose the "most natural", while Ocre can either be super green grey or light brown. Best contacts i've used yet and most definitely the most natural on the market!!! For more information on shipping and experience with the lenses check my first video! Ugh...I keep going around looking for more comparisons and just videos on Hidrocor contacts...I ordered the Cristals and no lie I love them~ but others can tell they aren't legit, and definitely some of friends/family say I look like a vampire lmao! But seriously, after I read the comments and your reply, I'm definitely leaning towards getting Ocre just because of the greyish tint you said it gives off, which I really like. Hopefully since it's 2017 the opacity doesn't change...but if it does~ then I'll just wait it out until news comes that something happened 😂 Anyways thanks again for this comparison video, helped a lot!

I'm not as tan as she is though... im worried the ocre will make me look washed out. I dont want something too bright but i don't want something that you can barely see either. I want like a hazel, light brown greenish gray kinda color.. ugh I'm so tornnnn 😂😣😒

I think if you’re looking for a light brown you have to choose the hydrocore Avela.. but in natural color it will be the Ocre that is more similar because it has the yellow undertone like the hydrocore avela ...

I’m confused because i got the ocre ones and they do not look like yours or anyone else’s 😭 they kinda look orangey (which looks far from natural) and pretty bright on my eyes.
I am so torn if I should buy the ocre or avelas. I was so set on hidrocor ocre and was ready to buy but started contemplating if it’d be hard to pull off:( they look so gray sometimes and I always hated gray contacts but they do look brighter than the avelas !! Help !! Suggestions
Lizzy Gonzalez What color are your natural eyes? Mine are really dark brown and when in the sun they have a reddish brown tint! So the Ocre’s come off super grey with that mix but can sometimes look really milky brown! If you have lighter brown eyes or more of a honey tone I’d definitely suggest going for it, i doubt they’ll look so grey! The Avelas are more of a true honey brown and the Ocre’s are definitely on the lighter brown side.
Chai I have really dark brown eyes too, but as everyone else with dark brown eyes, they can look magical in the sun. Indoors is a whole other story, I’m sure you can agree that indoors your eyes can look black. I’m scared of getting the ocres because of the indoors part, I imagine really grey as you said. I’m also second thinking it because I kind of have your skin tone and you look amazing with them but I plan on getting darker because of summer coming up:) do the avelas actually look so much different ? Because I was thinking of maybe getting the avelas right now and trying them out and then if I wanted to go lighter, get the ocres later on. Are the shades similar enough not to do that ? What shade contacts do you use more ? And is the money worth both of these !!

I have really dark brown eyes and i'm afraid that the avela won't stand out but it looks so light on you but on other videos from other youtubers it looks darker..
Christina Love I have really dark eyes as well! Trust me, they show up lighter in person. I really tried to show how lighting affects color in the video, sometimes it's subtle and sometimes they're really out there

The Avela looks more natural and less zombie-ish :-) You're a pretty girl (that's a fact). Your eyebrows are rather thick and they don't frame your eyes nicely (think Cara Delawhatever). All in all a great informative video. Love your lips btw ;-)

Kim H J If you have dark brown eyes, yes definitely. On dark eyes they're super grey but if your eyes are slightly on the lighter side you might get a little bit of brown grey. 💞

Laydie Yez Ocre's are definitely more on the greenish side but if you want more green then gray, I would suggest the Ambar's!

How long can you keep these in for? I watched another video where the girl said how she can only wear them for an hour and then they get uncomfortable, I would like to be able to wear them comfortably for about 8 hours straight, just curious before I decide if I wanna buy them!
lullykitty14 in my first video about the contacts, I said they were very comfortable! I can wear them all day, except around the night time. The pupil holes are quiet small and in the night my pupils dilate and it's a mess!! Definitely wouldn't drive at night with these on, other than that I don't personally experience any discomfort with them throughout the day!

Maria Jurado No they don't move around when you blink or move your eye, as you can see in the video I try shifting my eyes a bit so you can see ✨💖 the only time they move is when you rub your eye but that's kind of a given.

If by defined, you mean small, then yes! I'm hearing rumors that the pupils holes change with every opacity change so these are the 2016 ones.
Chai what if during the night or day you get excited and your pupils dilate? Wouldn't that look weird and fake with colored contacts that have a fake pupil built into the contact? I mean our pupils are constantly changing in day night etc.
