Happy 90 year old Bithday , yes He’s stll around, thank goodness. I think this Don Odell’s Legends show he was around 80 yrs. Young. These older English guys are truly amazing. Much like all the early Blues folks before them. Funny but I feel like the message here is and always has been no matter how tough or how old you get is on keep playing the blues. What do I know, LOL. 😮 !!. ??. Music speaks where words alone can not. Enjoy !!.
The God Father of British Blues.I've been listening to him for 50 years, saw him in a small bar about 12 years ago.Thank you John, and band members.Great song, too!
I started listening to John Mayall when I was 15 or 16. I bought the Beano album to hear Clapton. Now I'm almost 66 and I'm still listening to John. I truly love his music. I had a friend who had a blues band named "Room To Move" in honor of John's music.
My bro' was bustin' my balls with John Mayall when I was too young to appreciate. Fifty fuckin' years later and the man is blowin' my mind. If I were the king of something, I'd be bookin' my trip to see the living legend when he hits the west coast. I'm a mere retired serf, so I can only crank it up and enjoy. Thanks. Peace. Out.
My friend that passed years ago when I was down put beside my bed a John Mayall cd and a harmonica. I played this track from the cd and picked up the harmonica and started to blow into it. I did not notice my friend that gave me this beautiful instrument was standing there and when I did notice he was he said to me where were you, harmonica land. I guess I was and it was the best feeling in the world.
blimey hope I can still rock n roll at 80 like dear old John .... brilliant ... cheers
