Newbury district council/ high ways agency leave the residents of Lower Way in danger allowing cars to mount the pavement and almost knocking down a child.
Thank you for your comment. I would expect a metal meshing fence across the road leaving the pavements clear for pedestrians, I can't believe how laps health and safety is for the general public it's an accident waiting to happen.
I work traffic management this always goes on all the time. People displace traffic management equipment. mount pavements. damage the works. Then moan when we have to come back and redo all the work again. Not going to stop it anytime soon
But really shouldn’t the company that takes on the job put better fences in to stop all that, let’s face it a road cone isn’t going to stop anyone from moving it out the way.

Typical the council don’t have to conform to NRSWA regulations they just enforce them if a private company doesn’t do it you get a failure and fined.

Of course they don’t care but I bet if it was outside their homes they would.
