    Thank you very much!
I was able to fix my Braun beard trimmer, though it did not have the testpads on the PCB.
I had to short pins 11 and 15 directly on the IC, to fix the problem.
When I played 'with the device, it stopped working after a few power cycles. So this time I only connected powersupply for 30s and disconnected and immediately turned on and it also reseted the error, if this works it is even better, because one does not need to open the device!

Tank you for the video! Managed to bring back to life Braun crUzer6. The board is different and there is no testpoint or anything connected to pin11. So i soldered a thin wire to pin11 and connected it to TP15 on the board (pin15). And it did the trick! Without your video the unit would end up like E vaste. So thank`s again!

Just great. Thank you very much. PS. Left pin has about 0V, in my opinion it is feedback from DC motor, there is just voltage divider and single one capacitor. There is about 1 V during motor work. And on right pin was about 0,4V before short circuit and near 0 after (0,06V). Maybe also great idea is to add some more capacitance on the biggest cap. When it was desoldered, then always microprocessor goes into error state after reset and short test. There was only blink led and a little motor movement...
    Greetings from Poland :)

Funny thing, I've had this problem after battery change in my Braun 340S-4, and when I have touched ohmmeter between negative battery connector and IC pin16 it reset itself! Works fine right now.

Can you help me with Braun Series 7 beard trimmer (BT 7050)? It has the same ic, but I have a suspicion that other legs need to be closed.
