BJP has already proven that, given the majority they can frame, pass and enforce unconstitutional laws. Even when the govt is scrutinised, investigated and caught/ held guilty, the govt remains unaccountable and the proceeds and benefits that accrued from such unconstitutional laws employing misuse of power are irreversible. The guilt applies only prospectively.
Electoral Bonds = Instrument of corruption sponsored by govt.
In a way unconstitutionality is protected under the very same constitution! Therefore cycle of turning out unconstitutional lows does not suffer any consequences and hence will be continued unhindered by the govt with the confidence that if and when the unconstitutionality is exposed by the competent authority then that authority will not have the power to reverse the proceeds and punish the unconstitutional act.
Perhaps that is the reason why the PM denies any intentions of changing the Constitution. According to PM the constitution is held as Quran, Bible and Geeta. Clearly it makes little sense for the 400+ majority govt to seek any change in Constitution and be damned for it. In fact it will be wiser to pursue the proven path of enforcing unconstitutional laws.
