The short version of their lore is that TXT's entire discography spans the development and growth of a person from childhood into adulthood. It also covers their journey as both idols and people and their growth through that process as well. They also have a fantasy storyline that parallels their discography that also covers childhood growth and psychology. This MV takes inspiration from The Little Prince where they have forgotten their childhood dreams and passions and this is what causes them turmoil as they enter adulthood. The long explanation for this MV: The song is called deja vu which is the phenomena where you feel as though you have experienced something before when in fact you haven't. Additionally, the lyrics and the remix version mention anemoia which is a word that means nostalgia for a time or place one has never known. In other words it is a longing and sad nostalgia for something -- in this case we are talking about the beginning of the MV where we see the fox and the round object and the things we have "forgotten". This is in reference to the famous story The Little Prince. The round object is the planet B-612 and the fox is the friend in the story. So what is it that we have lost? Why is Yeonjun so devestated in this video? He's lost his childhood, his fantasies, and his dreams. He's the oldest member in the group, so it's likely that they express this through him first. In TLP, the boy leaves his fantasy planet, his friend, and his dream there. He comes back to reality, has to grow up, get a job, care about numbers and according to TLP, become "monsters" aka adults. However, he eventually remembers what he had forgotten. The whole moral of the story is that while you can't live in childish denial forever, you shouldn't forget all your fantasies, dreams, friends, and passions that you had as a kid. They are still very important to living life as a happy and whole adult. In the story, he is saved by Beomgyu, the member who they all saw in their dreams, or rather I'll say "the OTHER Beomgyu" since in their fantasy storyline (webtoon and web novel) there are multiple versions of the members who went through hardships and "failed" at saving the world. Long hair Beomgyu failed to save his members in his own timeline and instead sacrificed himself to save/help the members in another timeline. Hence we see Beomgyu reach out his hand to save Yeonjun at the end. The other members were all able to wake from the nightmare, but Yeonjun was trapped in it. We see in the beginning that he is in fact not SINKING into the bed, but stuck in sleep paralysis, unable to move and unable to wake. The members don't understand the nightmare, because they are unsure of what they have lost since they no longer remember it, but it makes them dreadfully sad. Waking from the nightmare could mean the members were unable to remember, but it can also be interpretted that they remember and that's why Beomgyu goes to save Yeonjun. It could be a sign that Yeonjun is the first to become an adult, but it could also represent them all becoming adults. It's a really complex story and to come into it towards "the end" it makes it really hard to break it down. I recommend you start at the beginning with their debut album and work your way through the discography to really understand.
