Never in my life have I cried while watching a stand-up comedy special. This man has to be one of the greatest storytellers of our time. He literally broke down crying in the middle of the set, and cracked more jokes to bring it back together. I wish him nothing but success.

Same, I shed a tear my first time watching this. Lost my little brother to sickle cell leukemia. He was only 4 man. Ali may still be grieving. I don't know if people ever get over stuff like this. That story caught me off guard, but it's kinda healing now.

My son was killed June 30, 2013 and it was comedian DeRay Davis❤ I am sorry for your loss. I went to Griefshare especially during the holidays… I am telling you this can break your heart choose to know that you have to go on and he is okay. Blessings to you and Ali for his comedy being the balm to ease your sadness. Comedians can pull joy from your soul can’t they? They are a true gift. Be well!
This is more than comedy. This is the most humanistic storytelling I’ve ever seen. I cried with him, I laughed with him, I got ducktaped with him, I got hit by that rifle with him and I never stopped rooting for Ali. What a guy!
He was destined for greatness. You can tell by how he carried himself with his money, and how he looked out for his people in his younger years. where he’s at right now you can tell he was born a natural leader, even though he had some hangups, he always was ahead of his time as you can see. Where he is right now is on top and that’s why he was even in his teens he was on top
Just finished watching this special with my mom and the first thing she said was “This isn’t standup. This is art.” I wholeheartedly agree. You are without a doubt my favorite comedian! Thank you so much for giving us the part 2 of Domino Effect. I’ll be coming to see you when you hit Orlando in 2024! Much love to you! ❤
@@AliSiddiqComedyyou got that man ik I don't actually know you as a person but I can tell you are that guy😂 keep it up people are already starting to see the value In your comedy it's probably gonna get better from here as long as you stay doing what your doing
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a comedy special that has left me speechless. I don’t think there’s anything I could say that adequately captures what kind of masterpiece this is.
Not many comedians at all, can hold a crowd like this. This is chappelle level of crowd control… doesn’t have to rush to the next joke can actually have the room silent (something most comedians are afraid of) This was a master class, I know it’s comedians seeing this like wow… he has to be a comedians comedian
All the bullshit comedians (Most of Rogans crew) are watching this going. "If ppl discover him he is gonna blow us right out of the water". He probably has allotmpf haters. But the beauty of THAT is he could whip their ass if they trymto mess with him lmao.
Not only did I like how he brought back the comedy after recalling the trama of losing his sister. But also how he allowed himself to feel what he felt in that moment to express how devastating it was. This man is a top tier story teller with bonus of being a comedian!
Most guys with stories like this don't live to tell them. And even fewer are able to see the humor in it all. Ali Siddiq is a cultural gem, and I'm truly grateful to have experienced such a rare talent. Seeing him live is an absolute must.
Absolutely powerful. The complexities of our people encapsulated into an hour and a half. The wisdom, the pain, the lessons, the strength … the loss. Incredibly done. Brother Ali is a master at his craft. He is one of the top two comedians alive to today without a doubt.
The fact that he made the decision to talk that honestly about his sister and cry on stage is true stand up comedy. Show your pain then show us where the comedy comes from.
My wife and I had our first date in 2012, and we ended our night watching Ali at the improv in Houston…he destroyed, he took control of the room, had everyone dying laughing, and could sit down on the stool and have the whole audience quiet and on the edge of their seat. I’m glad the world is experiencing what I got an early opportunity to see. I’m happy to see Ali being from the same city and doing it his way. All the success has been hard earned, he didn’t take the easy route. This is amazing work.
The thing about grief is you don't lose someone one day, you lose them everyday. Everyday you gotta wake up and remember they're gone. Doesn't matter how many years pass, you wake up and they're still not there. Ali is an amazing storyteller and it's a great thing to share joy but it's an even greater thing to share pain. He truly deserves to be counted among the greats.
This is the best explanation of grief I’ve ever heard! It’s been almost a decade that my mother has been gone and it doesn’t make it feel any better I just learn to live with it. To tell your life story in a way that touches ppl and still gives pure entertainment is true talent I love watching him.
@@sethimonfiresis5846it’ll be 13 yrs for me 1-2-24, that my mom passed and I’m stunned a little bit. I’m like damn she really gone 😔😔. Loved her with all my heart and soul. It’s okay though cause I know she’s at peace. ❤
This is high art. It ain't just comedy, it's like Shakespearean-level monolugue storytelling. Can't wait for part 3, though I'm sure it'll also make me cry.
I’ve never wept while listening to a comedy special but after losing my mom recently the story you told about your baby sister hit so close to home. I stood in my kitchen and openly wept. It’s so raw to see a man actively grieving on stage, it took this to a whole new level for me. I’ve watched “The Domino Effect 1, 2, & 3” repeatedly! And can’t wait for number 4 on Sunday! Respect and love from a fellow Texan. ❤
This is the most powerful perfomance I've seen from a comedian since Richard Pryor's 1st special. Thank you for this piece of fine art Ali Siddiq, you are the truth 💯.
Ali is about to explode to a whole other level. Can't believe I only discovered him in the past few months. Hands down my favourite comedian of all time. Natural-born story teller.
I CRIED when you were speaking about your little sister. You're an fantastic comic and storyteller. YOUR STYLE is UNMATCHED, LOVED THIS and BLESSINGS TO YOUR CAREER!
My BF told me to listen to him while I drove 6 hours home…. When I tell you I was driving, almost pissing on myself laughing so hard and crying.. This man is a great storyteller. I am in love with all of these characters and can see them as he talks about them . I was heartbroken when he spoke about his little sister. I am a new follower but a forever fan…..
Man. I didn't expect to have tears well up in my eyes like that! This comedy special was way more than comedy. It was an honest look into your life. It was raw, real and intimate. You are a great story teller. Keep up the hard work.
This is one of the most profound, funny, heart breaking, and transparent works of art I have ever watched. To call it a stand up special would be a disservice. Ali Siddiq is one of the greatest storytellers of all time.
I saw a few clips for yrs and they were all hilarious. But mostly was the Mexican boot joke which is so funny. So I was unprepared for the mastery and depth of your brilliance. Have been on a binge and this the least I could offer. Wish I could buy it or was on Netflix l. You deserve a special on there. Thank you for this.
It's not just the jokes, it's the vivid picture that Ali paints that puts you in that time and place. I'm hoping for several more parts in this series because I could listen to life stories all day!
It's the fact that I can walk away from my screen and play it like an old record recording of Red Fox and clean up and shit. It's timeless talent at story telling
Ali is a top tier storyteller. The way he controls our emotions during this set is pure magic. I'll follow him to the ends of the Earth for more stories.
This guy is a huge talent. He became one of my favorite comedians ever after hearing him just kicking it around on a podcast. Hadn't even seen a show yet. Then I watched everything he ever put on video. I think he will become one of the all time greats in comedy.
I saw him at the Improv in Houston back in 2018. Had no idea who I was seeing. Was invited by a friend. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen! He hung out after and talked to his fans, too. He's obviously hilarious, but he's also a real cool dude on top of being one of the best storytellers in the business.
He shot up to my favorite over the last few years and I had the honor of seeing him in person in Baltimore last year or 2 years ago and it solidified him as the top guy to me in story telling.
I’ve watched the full series 1-4 multiple times and I just can’t stop repeating! I know what’s coming and still laugh like it’s brand new… outstanding!
the way Ali broke the room down to the point of absolute silence and then weaved it back together with a big laugh was masterful. *Ali is so special.* definitely making the effort to see him when he’s back home in Houston.
This man does deserve a Emmy and a Netflix special. I forgot I was watching it. He had me so engaged in the story I cried and laughed 10/10 perfect special
Ali Siddiq hands down is the greatest storyteller I’ve ever come across in comedy. And never have I ever see a comedian go from literal tears to having the crowd laughing right after without a hitch. Ali a legend. Domino Effect part 1 and 2 are top ten specials for me.
The way he emotionally broke down and exposed himself over his sister….and then was able to flip right back to making ppl laugh WAS PURE COMEDIC STORYTELLING GOLD❤️🔥
Whew! I wasn’t ready, Ali!! I was working and listening to you and I just had to stop and pray for you, my brother. Lord. I am so sorry for your loss. That pain hit hard. It made me face my grief about losing my mama. Maaaaaaaaaannnnn😂😂. I cannot!! Not Pops in the speedos cooking. You have me crying and laughing at the same time. Prayers of continued peace and comfort to you and your family.
I love your stand up, but more than that I love the real shit. I sorry for your sister, I know that pain all too well, it's unreal. Don't change a thing keep doing what you doing. The world needs it. Hope to catch a show soon.
Thank you for the emotional rollercoaster Ali! I’ve long been amazed with your level of storytelling. This is more than entertainment, this is art! Sincerely, from another side of the globe.
U def right i been binging all of his material not realizing I def was watching him when i was younger but that “cobra back” story made me go hit the gym hard 😂😂😂😂 keep goin Ali💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I think I may have just watched the best on stage performance of anything by anyone I have ever seen. You are a master sir. Thank you for what you have done and continue to do. You have a fan for life.
As a kid growing up i remember my uncles telling stories like this. I remember my dad telling stories like this (when he was there) this man Ali makes me feel like hes my family with how relatable and transparent he is. MUCH RESPECT AND THANK YOU
Thank you Ali. You brought relief and release to my own grief. Please don’t ever stop. Can’t wait to work with you one day. May God let it come to pass and may he bless you and keep you. All love
In order, my favorite comedians, Dave , Bill Burr, and Ali Sadiq. So glad I saw him on Joe Rogan years ago. Otherwise I never would have known who he was, a comedian, a felon, a fellow Houstonian, an amazing storyteller, And if he watches interviews that he has with Rogan and some of the other podcasters out there he has some of the most intelligent ideas on how to solve society's problems such as homelessness. His ideas aren't always perfect, but I haven't heard any senator or representative or president or mayor or governor or my dad or any other fucker come up with any other better ideas. He's not only funny he's extremely intelligent and wellspoken. The way this man tells stories I can close my eyes and I feel like I'm watching a movie.... Or better yet I feel like I'm in the movie with him
This dude took me through his teenage life in two specials without me realizing he was breaking it down year by year by year and every year was a piece of the puzzle…mashallah .. genius
Ali is one talented young man! So transparent which is a gift for a black man to show his grief with so many people he’s never met. I’m familiar with that grief. My only child died at 11 years old from a rare, rapid growing brain tumor in 1983. So many years ago but still painful. He’ll always have that pain but he’s being very smart and brave in his recovery. His mom’s pain is even greater than his because she birthed that child. Your little sister is a part of her entire body, soul and mind. Your mom’s heart has an empty spot where her living child once resided and now she’s gone. Be kind to her whenever she’s sad. Allow her those moments to sit in her grief because there’s no time limit on grief. And you as well. Ali you are a very blessed person to have done so much in your life wrong but yet you came out of the other side doing everything right. I don’t know you personally but I feel a special kind of love and admiration for you. YOU ARE A HEALER OF LOST AND SAD SOULS! You’re SPECIAL! Talk about your baby sister as often as you think of her. Remember the fun times, especially the silly sayings or fun stuff that made y’all smile. That’s the best healing medicine you can use to help your hearts get well. But it takes a long time to feel any healing. Maybe by now you’re learning how to live with that sadness. I pray so. God bless you Ali! 😊❤
You are hands down one of the best performers I've ever seen. I genuinally laughed with you; cried with you and have more respect for you then most people in my real life. Keep Living this crazy life.
I have been rooting for this man since “Mexicans got on boots!” 😂. I think with this special we have just witnessed the birth of a superstar! Much love and respect Ali! Wishing nothing but the highest level of success for you brotha! 💪🏽
I only found you about a week ago and have not stopped watching your videos. The way you have turned a troubling time in your life into comedy is genius.
On an SNL skit, Tom Hanks made a comment. He said, roughly, "... if i can laugh, AND cry, in 90 minutes, you got me..." This emotional and hilarious journey epitomized that exact statement. Masterful. And thank you for letting us IN.
The realest. Storyteller. Griot. Philosopher. Sharing the beauty of your babysis, and the raw emotion of devastation. The most courageous thing I've ever witnessed someone do in front of a crowd - ever. Thank You, Ali Siddiq. ❤
Ali your capacity to be emotional and comical in the span of a second is impeccable! Sir you took me through so many emotions with this set!! But that story about your baby sister, that one was just gut and heart wrenching, I felt your pain through this screen and in the same token you turned me right back around to happiness and laughter, that is a gift Brother!! You are truly a GEM in this world and I thank you for sharing your stories with us as we don’t deserve the GEM that is you or for you to even share with us, yet here we are and I’m grateful for being introduced to your work. Keep up the OUTSTANDING work BROTHER!
Master Class storyteller right here y’all. Took me from tears to gut busting laughter in a matter of a few seconds. NOBODY does it better, Mr. Siddiq, PERIODT.
I'm in my 40's...and I can boldly and honestly say that this is the best standup special ever.....Eddie, Richard, and even Bernie! The story telling, vulnerable, consistently engaging story this man portrayed is hands down the best ever! Salute Soldier Ali!!!!
Ya he's good, I only seen a few clips of his stand up a few years ago but his stories had me rolling lol. Mexicans wearing boots is a funny prison story.
No way I can appreciate the masterpiece that this is without giving something back, it's not much but it's something and I needed to show my appreciation for such a wonderful piece of art! Thank you Ali. Bravo 👏
Laugh until I cried. Cried and brought back the laugh again. Ali Siddiq one of the best comedians in the game right now! And the transparency and storytelling is always on point. This was an awesome show
I love stand-up and am just now watching this series special. I had never heard of this man, but he deserves recognition, because there is only one other comic who can do story telling like this as far as I know. I'm sure Ali will become much more famous with a little more time.
This is not just comedy, it's real life stories meant to awaken empathy in all of us for those easy to label in society as "criminals", forgetting that everyone has a story and has walked a journey we know nothing about. Thanks for this Ali🇿🇦🇿🇦
This is the best comedy special I have ever seen. I've never been moved to tears, of sadness, of loss, in the middle of laughing my head off! Ali is just...different. Like the way Dave Chappelle is just, different, Ali Siddiq is just DIFFERENT. In all the best ways. God bless him.

This is more than comedy. This is the most humanistic storytelling I’ve ever seen. I cried with him, I laughed with him, I got ducktaped with him, I got hit by that rifle with him and I never stopped rooting for Ali. What a guy!
ALI BOMA YE!
I have never seen anything like this as well .. and I thought Dave Chapelle was the best storyteller!
Absolutely bro it felt like a movie for sure!! Great comment!
" L E G EN D "...
Thank you!!!
@@AliSiddiqComedyyou got that man ik I don't actually know you as a person but I can tell you are that guy😂 keep it up people are already starting to see the value In your comedy it's probably gonna get better from here as long as you stay doing what your doing
@@AliSiddiqComedysheesh 4 mill views I take it back you already there bro good shit
Stand up comedy is art people his just great at bringing the art out of it he’s a true legend
I can't believe I just cried watching a stand-up special. This was a painfully beautiful story.
I know right!!
He is going to be great
Me to and still watch it every other day 😂😢😮❤
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a comedy special that has left me speechless. I don’t think there’s anything I could say that adequately captures what kind of masterpiece this is.
Big facts.
Richard Pryor but this is better by far
Greatest master piece of my time 💪
He is definitely in his own lane!
I agree absolutely dope 🔥
I’ve watched all 4, all are phenomenal but this one is special!!! Very very special
Not many comedians at all, can hold a crowd like this. This is chappelle level of crowd control… doesn’t have to rush to the next joke can actually have the room silent (something most comedians are afraid of)
This was a master class, I know it’s comedians seeing this like wow… he has to be a comedians comedian
Ever since I heard him 5 years ago. I started following him. He can get your attention. And keep it ❤
I love em ❤
😂😂😂😂
Chappelle level attention is right!!😊❤ He's really good. Crowd control is impeccable ❤
This a whole new level
That was the most beautiful thing I’ve seen a comedian do on stage. I was deeply moved
A truly Gifted individual
Man, he did that❤
❤❤❤
Most guys with stories like this don't live to tell them. And even fewer are able to see the humor in it all. Ali Siddiq is a cultural gem, and I'm truly grateful to have experienced such a rare talent. Seeing him live is an absolute must.
I agree. I wonder though if he ever ran back into T?
@@queenie_the_virgo Right! I wonder how her life is turning out...
I'm re-watching this😢
I'm crying again.
This Brother is Unmatched.💯💯💯💯
Let's support all of the Domino Effect Specials.
Absolutely powerful. The complexities of our people encapsulated into an hour and a half. The wisdom, the pain, the lessons, the strength … the loss. Incredibly done. Brother Ali is a master at his craft. He is one of the top two comedians alive to today without a doubt.
thank you!!!
PERFECTLY SAID I TOTALLY AGREE 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯..LOVE ALI AND HE FROM MY CITY
Agreed!
Fully agree 👍
The fact that he made the decision to talk that honestly about his sister and cry on stage is true stand up comedy. Show your pain then show us where the comedy comes from.
Was totally in tears at that part... then spit my water out when he brought up the cook with the speedo on
This wasn't a comedy special. This was a movie... more like a brilliant displayed documentary. Absolute genius at work!!!! Thank you, Ali! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Definitely a MOVIE!
FACTS! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I see him telling the story. but I also see the story. It's wild just brilliant bro just absolutely brilliant
@@petermanp7915 Facts!!! You picture everything he's saying in your head.
So very true. An unforgettable performance. This should have been on Netflix or the movie screen.
Never heard truer words...❣️ Put beautifully at that.🙌🏾🫶🏾
Well Said
This is the best explanation of grief I’ve ever heard!
Big factz... I lost my momz nd popz when I was 12 a few weekz apart
This is high art. It ain't just comedy, it's like Shakespearean-level monolugue storytelling.
Can't wait for part 3, though I'm sure it'll also make me cry.
Totally agree! He is genius!
he is way better than shakespear
Agreed. This is some other level art, not just comedy. This is brilliance.
There is nothing I can do . The 6 most horrible words in the world
Never cried on a stand up....this was amazing. Thanks for letting us in.
😢right. I'm on the plane crying smh ❤
Got me too like out of no where
I’ve never wept while listening to a comedy special but after losing my mom recently the story you told about your baby sister hit so close to home.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Ali is about to explode to a whole other level. Can't believe I only discovered him in the past few months. Hands down my favourite comedian of all time. Natural-born story teller.
thank you!
I know I'm like where I been His story telling ability is phenomenal
I CRIED when you were speaking about your little sister. You're an fantastic comic and storyteller. YOUR STYLE is UNMATCHED, LOVED THIS and BLESSINGS TO YOUR CAREER!

My BF told me to listen to him while I drove 6 hours home…. When I tell you I was driving, almost pissing on myself laughing so hard and crying.. This man is a great storyteller. I am in love with all of these characters and can see them as he talks about them . I was heartbroken when he spoke about his little sister. I am a new follower but a forever fan…..
I have never shed tears and laughed immediately afterwards, this man has comedy in his pocket, I can’t wait to see Ali live.
It truly is a treat to see him live
def shed a few as well lol wasn't expecting that.
What other platform
Man. I didn't expect to have tears well up in my eyes like that! This comedy special was way more than comedy. It was an honest look into your life. It was raw, real and intimate. You are a great story teller. Keep up the hard work.
thank you!
This is one of the most profound, funny, heart breaking, and transparent works of art I have ever watched. To call it a stand up special would be a disservice. Ali Siddiq is one of the greatest storytellers of all time.
Facts ❤
I agree!!! 💯
Yes Amen God Bless him!
💯
🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
I saw a few clips for yrs and they were all hilarious. But mostly was the Mexican boot joke which is so funny. So I was unprepared for the mastery and depth of your brilliance. Have been on a binge and this the least I could offer. Wish I could buy it or was on Netflix l. You deserve a special on there. Thank you for this.
thank you
One of the most beautifully human performances I've ever seen. Siddiq is so much more than a comedian, he's a natural born leader.
Hopefully a role model for young men too. Parents, don't overlook this man!
It's not just the jokes, it's the vivid picture that Ali paints that puts you in that time and place. I'm hoping for several more parts in this series because I could listen to life stories all day!
He's said elsewhere that he wants to have at least 3 specials, so he's hoping....
It's the fact that I can walk away from my screen and play it like an old record recording of Red Fox and clean up and shit. It's timeless talent at story telling
One of the greatest story tellers of our times. Comedic genius..Love from NC, Ali!
Everyone should donate at least $5 for this epic special!
thank you!!!
Love you, Ali. Thank you for being you and sharing your essence. Keep doing you.
The fact he can speak about his trauma and make his audience enjoy it is priceless. We forget this man lived a life before comedy. Thank you Ali
Ali is a top tier storyteller. The way he controls our emotions during this set is pure magic. I'll follow him to the ends of the Earth for more stories.
Absolutely.. to the end and back. The one about the mushrooms.. 🍄🍄 Phenomenal
This was very intense and I loved every moment of it. The segway between talking about his sister into talking about the chef was flawless.
He shot up to my favorite over the last few years and I had the honor of seeing him in person in Baltimore last year or 2 years ago and it solidified him as the top guy to me in story telling.
If he isn't the next chappelle, it will be a disservice to comedy
Best storytelling hands down in my book!!
I’m literally blown away. No other comedy special has made me laugh, and cry at the same time. This was masterful.
Turning a young man’s troubled youth into a positive career in comedy is legendary!…congrats Ali!
This is not comedy. This is a man sharing his pain and losses. So genuine with his words. Much respect Ali.
This man does deserve a Emmy and a Netflix special. I forgot I was watching it. He had me so engaged in the story I cried and laughed 10/10 perfect special
Originally the first half was supposed to be but they weren’t going to do right by him so he brung it here to keep his rights to it.

Mufuckin genius an I don't say that shit often hell at all jus seemed like the word for Mr Ali
I cried with him. Then I got mad with him. He need to pursue acting. The way he conjured up those emotions and brought us along is next level.

MUCH RESPECT AND THANK YOU
I have never seen a comedian that can you cry and laugh at the same time. His transparency is humbling. I wish him much success.
The vulnerability that he showed regarding his baby sister just wrecked me. Ali, amazing work sir!! Thank you for sharing!
Also, just heard you on Joe Rogan, the passion you have for people who are still in is just real.

This man is the closest thing to Dave Chapelle we have ever seen.
His storytelling, timing, ability to control the audience, is on Dave level.
Agreed
Or better yet I feel like I'm in the movie with him
You are correct...
I was thinking the same thing
Why Compare?
Better than Dave...(for me) ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How you brought the crowd back together was phenomenal, I've never seen anything like this
You have to have a special talent to tell a story..bring ppl in..make em laugh..without really telling jokes...just classic...RESPECT!!!!

THANK YOU!!!!!
The way Ali can control the room is remarkable. His story telling is amazing and his comedic timing and relatability is unmatched🙏🏾‼️

Black jeopardy was hilarious lol
This was amazing I can't wait to see Ali on a Netflix special.❤
Anytime i hear him say "Say my man... Whatcho name is?" I'm already laughing 😂
