I love your Arbor and gate. I love how Bob has such a teaching heart and shows great step by step. He makes something that would look like it be overwhelming to do possible for anyone to try.
LOL. At post hole digger time...."I can do that". I'll just bet you could. Seemingly large or small, dreams are relative to each of us. Even the 'smaller' projects, (victories), with The SRRS are fun to watch. God Bless.~Eli.
LOL, Eli! That was actually GrandmaSewHappy, not me :) . I was behind the camera! I do know how to use one-learned as a teenager. Yes, the SRRS was a great help. Sometimes we just get stuck and can't quite see the other side.
That came out so nicely. I am working on a picket fence to keep my dogs out of my garden and now I have a better idea of how to make the gate. The arbor looks awesome!! Thanks! 🌻🌼🌺🌼🌻
Beautiful and with such a great helper, Katie! Happy that you got to be blessed with the Self Reliant Road Show. AND you learned to use a post hole digger. LOL God Bless.........................Patti
Hi Patti! It was great to have them there and it was a great blessing. Actually, I know how to use a post hole digger-that was GrandmaSewHappy (Vonnie) that was learning :)
The gate & arbor is 36" wide. I have fencing attached in the side gaps and then from the outer posts all around. The fencing is dual: rabbit fence with a layer of chicken wire with t-posts. You can now get a nicer, small hole fencing that would work well.
How fun!
I like how Bob did the arch. The garden gate and arbor really turned out quit nice. :)
Thanks, Liana!! It fits the look of the garden so well.
You are welcome and that it does. :)
Fantastic project.
Thank you Jim! PSB rocked it!
Great use of resources, love the trellise gate

I want to try this. Thank you! :)
You’re welcome! Once I saw it being built, it looked a whole lot easier and a whole lot less overwhelming.
Well I learned a few things watching this video! That's awesome. I enjoyed watching it.

Love it!!!! I haven't done a big garden bc of our animals this seems like the perfect solution. How wide is your gate.
