There's so much in this world we have no clue about! I don't really rule anything out. I've never seen an apparition, but I lived in a haunted house for about four years. It was very real!! There's things going on we just can't explain.
Yes you are right. I've had numerous experiences so I know there are other things out there. Would I ever try and explain to people about it. No I know I wouldn't be believed.
I have only ever seen one thing that was definitely a spirit or entity. In fact, I watched it form over the course of several seconds to the point I was consciously questioning if I was actually witnessing it. Strangest thing I have seen in my life. I was reading in my bedroom and saw what could only be described as dry ice like mist that was coming into my window and as the mist came on, it gradually formed into a mass that then went into my bathroom. I watched it as it happened and I even pinched myself to make sure I was awake and seeing it. I went into the bathroom and nothing was there. I then called my son up and asked him to go get me something in that bathroom just to see if he got any weird feelings, but without telling him what I witnessed. The moment he went in the bathroom he came out and said it felt weird in there.
@@MissaPality this sounds a bit like something I experienced. It was during a time when my the home I was living in with my family was in a really bad place emotionally. My dad was a raging narcissist and there was constant screaming and massive explosive fights. One day I took a nap and was jolted out of my sleep in a panic. I saw a dark pitch black cloud of smoke flying around my room for literally a good 5-6 seconds. It was scary as f@$%. I did some research on google and found some Reddit posts of people who saw the same black smoke cloud. One guy who woke up and saw it had it confirmed that it was real because his wife woke up right after home and screamed when she also saw it. I still wonder to this day what the hell that black smoke is
The Amityville case of the Lutzes . George Lutz through his dabbling in the occult brought a demonic entity or energy into the home. They made up most of the story to try to sell a book but there was negative energy there.
Your voice is so calming. When I'm having a bad day with anxiety I put my ear buds in and listen to you. You're amazing xxx is it possible to fall in love with a voice
I still see Twilight Zone, both the one with Rod Serling, and the remake un the 80s. We just saw the Talking Tina episode. They had some great writers, like Philip Dock.
This is the first time I've ever seen The Warrens covered with such in depth info. They are beloved in that community and I really can't imagine why when you hear all of this. Excellent work!
There are 3 cases from the Warrens that I would love to see turn into movies. #3 The South Bend Wherewolf #2 Satan's Harvest #1 Snedeker House. Many years ago my cousin and I visited the Warren's Occult museum. To this day we both have nightmares about that place.
Yeah f that museum, you'd think the entire place would be...... there are no words to describe what it COULD be, and that is so awful about the nightmares. I have blessed houses, but HELL NO, literally would I go there, even though I'm interested. I hope your nights get better. 🙏✝️🙏✝️🙏✝️
@@michaelzamoraii2161No it's cool the nightmares are very dark, like they all take place at night. Most of them have to do with a house or building I have never been to. I see things I fear the most clowns, dolls, male doctors, they are evil they are all demons. Watching them go after the dead or the ones I love.
I don't know, my kids got Raggedy Ann dolls from their Grandmother a decade or more ago. They wouldn't even hold them. They would let me put them in their rooms. They found them terrifying and tbh, they creeped me out as well. Years later, I learned of this story and it looked creepy to me. Dolls seem to be a great place for a child's fears, emotions and such. It's no wonder that these things are said to happen.
In my culture we dont put dolls with perfect features such as eyes, ears, mouth, nose essentially if it looks like another human even in doll form dont keep it in the house..spirit will make the dolls their home/host.
Growing up my parents learned real quick to not gift me dolls except Barbies. I was always afraid of them. Chucky made it worse. Somebody gave me a Cuepie doll and I hated it.
I had a doll that scared the feck out of me...I was a child and it was just a doll I thought was scary. Nothing supernatural just children with imaginations and a dislike of some dolls.
Just an amazing couple that will be forever missed. They helped so many people through their own good will, generosity and empathy towards the human cause. Through the Conjuring movies they made demonology so real; they intrigued and amassed a huge audience. Hope others will be inspired to continue their legacy and bring their amazing stories to share with everyone. RIP Ed and Lorraine Warren, never forgotten.
Have you ever heard of a haunting that someone didn't try to capitalize on? It's just a bit strange that money and hauntings go hand-in-hand. Strange but not unexplainable.
@@robertapascal6962 that doesn't mean that ghosts are real. It's all about the almighty dollar. You give these people way too much benefit of the doubt.
Never clicked on a video faster. I’ve always been a huge fan of the Warrens. I know there’s a lot of skepticism surrounding their work and stories but nevertheless it’s all so interesting to me.
I wish there was more talk or interest in their investigation with the Smurl family. That would make for a truly terrifying entry in The Conjuring film series.

Nr1. They didnt prove anything at all, except that there is money in the industry. Nr2. They were fraudsters. 0 of their so claimed "true events" are all fake. Thats the reason why one of their customers chose to punch Ed in the face before breaking their relationship.
@@Smokinondeadpalms Why dont you do it, you who WANTS to believe in it so much that you are willing to throw out logic and proof just so you can BELIEVE. lol
I know I've already talked about this in the comments section of this video on Patreon, but might as well bring it up again here :) So I personally want to believe that the Warrens were genuinely capable of interacting with the paranormal and tbh I think some of the events they experienced were real, especially their earlier cases. However, given how the Warrens clearly became more and more concerned about their public image and less concerned about the people they were helping and how their cases were documented, allowing for major inaccuracies and dramatizations to appear in the reports to make their books sell better, I simply think that they became hung up on wealth and fame. A lot of their cases after the 70s (you know, after their reputations exploded, conveniently) appear rushed and flimsily put together. The fact that Ed stood by the Enfield haunting case, even after it was proven to be (at least partly) a hoax with the iconic "levitation" photo having been proven to just be one of the girls jumping off her bed, makes me particularly skeptical - someone truly set on dealing with real paranormal encounters wouldn't stand by a hoax, even if one or two of the things that happened there were real. A true paranormal investigator would more than likely question the whole incident at the slightest hint of it being a hoax. I think that Lorraine and Ed (maybe Ed more so than his wife), sadly, became so obsessed with the fame and fortune that came with their work that they just gave up on their original mission of helping people who were having trouble with things they couldn't fight or understand, and educating people about the paranormal, going as far as to fake and exaggerate most of their later work, which naturally takes away from the credibility of their earlier work, regardless of how true it might have actually been. I don't fully believe in the Warrens' work, but I'm not necessarily discrediting it either - for all we know, these things could be completely true, but unless we were there to experience them for ourselves, we'll never be fully convinced. Either way, this couple will never cease to fascinate me, and the cases of Annabel and the Perron family formed a big part of the era when I started to get more and more interested in these things. Great work as always, Top5s team, keep it up my friends!
Well done and interesting video. One of the most puzzling aspects about the Amityville case is how the original killer could have gone from room to room shooting people with a rifle and none of the victims fled or fought back. If I recall they were all shot in their beds. I have never read that the victims had been drugged or immobilized in some way. I don't see how people could have been so deeply asleep that they couldn't hear rifle shots in their home otherwise. Again well done.
Rumour has it that the eldest sister assisted Ronnie then he shot her after she returned to her bed! In a T.V interview Ronnie himself denied any supernatural activity, claiming he planned to kill his abusive father for a long time. After realising killing just his father would get him caught, he decided to get high and kill his entire family then blame burglars who broke into the house while Ronnie himself was down at the lake getting high.
That's one of the big mysteries. A possible explanation, i.m.o. is what is sometimes called "the bubble". It means that an entity can control the perception of several individuals, in this case to hear or not to hear certain sounds. It's a phenomenon frequently occurring in the Harrisville farmhouse (a.k.a. the conjuring house) and is also associated with the Bell witch. If anyone should know of other possible explanations, please tell!
I first heard of Lorain while watching 'Paranormal State' on youtube. she was a frequent guest on it... But true or fauls... their stories are great! there's no doubting that. only the families that went through them can ever really know what happened.

Their son in law Tony Spera put out the old tapes of their show Seekers of the Supernatural and is still carrying on their legacy .I never miss an upload of him ! Much 💘 from Tennessee
@@CaptainFrost_ And, they were frauds. This new conjuring movie is based off of a lie. Ed told Arnie's brother if they said it was a possession Arnie would get off. He was wrong. Ed was fond of young girls. They had a 16yr old live with them under the guise that she was their niece when in fact she was Ed's lover. He was 38 and she was 16. Ed was known for hitting Lorraine. Lorraine has been quoted saying the amityville house was the scariest place she's been yet the entire amityville story was fake. These two did absolutely nothing good for the paranormal community. The fact that people still believe the Warrens, with all the information out there about their scams, makes me laugh.
I don't know what really happened but I believe in their ability. And they had to make an income to live and be able to travel to help people. And they say ed told the guy to make up the rest of the conjuring movie. He had enough facts to tell the story and who wouldn't want their movie to be good? They had to make it scary. I'm not saying that is true. I wasn't there. But I believe in the warrens.
Everyone is so adamant on saying they were frauds based off other people saying so and because they made a profit. Yeah they didn’t charge for their services…but if you are good at what you do, why do it for free? You’d have to make some kind of money. Who knows if they were frauds or not, or if Ed was really a pos because someone got mad they didn’t get paid. Who knows.
Dude, I just watched the hilariously awful documentary “My Amityville Horror” about a grown up Danny Lutz. Lorraine Warren is interviewed close to the end. She pulls out a little cross and deadass tells everyone it’s made from wood OF THE CROSS JESUS WAS CRUCIFIED ON. They were the Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker of the paranormal world. They just were, and I can't even. That’s ludicrous 😆
Andrea Perron, one of the kids in the house wrote a book a few years ago about their actual experiences in the house. She says they had to tone down the movie in order to get an R rating. Her actual stories are much worse than depicted in the movie.
Before I start watching, aren't they fake? And after watching the video, I believe they were fake (adding not only the information presented here, but also more importantly the information presented from a channel called The Paranormal Scholar).
When the narrator called Annabelle "innocent looking" my definition for innocent changed 🙂. Am I the only one who finds even the og Annabelle doll creepy?
They were quite popular dolls and still are for collectors. Made by Knickerbocker Toy Co. The 32'' Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls sell for a lot. The originals sat in my nursery when I was a baby and then in my playroom. Rather one liked them or found them creepy, they were just dolls.

Thank you for this! I had my first ghost encounter in 1976 when I was ten. Not long after I discovered stories about the Warrens in The Enquirer tabloid, and a 46-year fascination with Ed & Lorraine was born. I went through every Enquirer I could get my hands on just hoping to find one of their stories. They taught me I hadn’t been crazy when I encountered the ghost of my grandfather right after his funeral, and I eventually became a ghost hunter because of my fascination with what they did. I’ve had many encounters since then that have proved to me beyond a doubt that ghosts do exist. And of course I’m there for every Conjuring movie. Their lives will always be fascinating to me. Thanks for the history!!! Obviously I don’t believe the jerks talking them down.
They did get the ghost kid on camera in the amityville house. Still not sure I believe them on everything else but the picture is definitely clear and creepy
Thank you for doing this. There are so many people that are disrespectful and Lorraine was such a beautiful soul. I never met Ed but I met MS L on 3 occasions and she was so knowledgeable and eager to share. Again , thank you
On one side I think of how it's very difficult to believe. But if it is, imagine how it is for the people who go through the haunting. No one believes them and they have no one to turn to help. Makes one wonder. Either ways, amazing video!
IRL he was an abusive con artist slob with a side of sexual predator Lorraine was no better two peas in a pod those two were something else alright. Their depiction in their own propaganda and the conjuring franchise is downright embarrassing and cringey in that it’s so far removed from the truth in any reality it would be laughable if the things they did hadn’t actually done unforgivable indefensible things for personal gain and fame etc. phonies would be putting it lightly
As for the 'paralyzed' part of Annabelle's story is 100% a case of sleep paralysis. Nothing sinister at all. Countless other people who experience that have the same symptoms of witnessing things that aren't there and having a weight on their chest, ect.
@@oldmanhendo7183 During my paralysis episodes, I would see a dark mass in the room usually in the corner. Only once actually heard a voice speak to me. Always eyes open, unable to move and weight on the chest.

Scared the shit out of me and to this day I still don’t know what that was
@@oldmanhendo7183 Ya that is scary, it is always scary. For me the masses are very dark, dense and tall, almost ceiling height. Its never moved around the room, only inched closer but always stays a few feet away thankfully… I feel like it happens more frequently now, but not any worse or all over the room the way you described. YIKES!
Interesting couple and I do enjoy the Conjuring movies but a lot of what you hear about them is wildly exaggerated - their involvement in the Enfield poltergeist case for example. If you go by the movie, you'd think they were instrumental in dealing with it but the true account is they were there for a day, decided there was nothing to investigate and then went back to the US. The British paranormal investigator, Maurice Grosse was far more involved.
Hey if it weren't for the Warrens we wouldn't have got an entire genre of paranormal films that began in the 1970s. They were great story tellers, but unfortunately people are too gullible and take everything at value.
@@KriekWorthy like I feel awful for those who genuinely needed help and reached out to them but the people they conned into believing them and getting them to buy into their franchise? I lived in a renovated funeral home in boston. It was a two floor apartment. My partner at the time purchased the apartment and we had to totally redo the lower floor due to mold. We found that there was a big hole right beneath the guest room bed where they would drain the bodies. We only had experiences while the hole was open - once it was closed again, nothing.

As a young man I met the Warrens in Sydney here in Australia many years back in the late 70s I personally launched my on off interest in paranormal investigations I to am Roman Catholic and ed was a fine mentor and Lorraine wonderful people we went to thier talks while here and all took holy communion together at st Patrick's in Haymarket many fond memories I seen them together for the last time personally in 1990 but occasionally talked by phone when strange instances in my work ever arrose wonderful friends much knowledge to share and experiences cheers from australia
I’ve experienced many wonderful Spirit manifestations in my homes, but I never felt threatened because I knew it was messages from the other side where I felt completely protected. What the Warrens did should be applauded, because I myself could never chase evil like they did.
Since my sister and I were children we would experience unexplained things. When we were young, around 5 we shared a bedroom. 2 beds with a table in-between. I had forgotten this until we were talking one day and she asked if I remembered us levetating at night. High enough so we could make eye contact. It came right back to me. I did remember. Our house was newly built, but strange things happened there. That was just the beginning. Somehow we're open to this. It's happened all of our lives and we've only moved twice, except when I was married and had a family of my own. In houses I lived with, with my first husband, there was a mother living with her 6 yr old Lil girl. The mother would never let her daughter attend a church. The Lil girl, Sally use to come and play with our dogs almost daily. One day I found out from a neighbor that they'd moved in the middle of the night and left all of their belongings plus several cats at that house. I've always been an animal person and started feeding the cats. I found most good homes, but we brought one home with us. Let me back up a bit to the neighbor who let me know they had moved. She was the same neighbors who invited Sally to attend church with their little girl. She found out that the Mom was in a santanic cult and was close with the leader located in Seattle. After I started feeding the cats I got curious and went inside close to dusk. There were pentagrams and goats walking upright pictures everywhere. I got scared and never reentered the house, but very scary things started happening at our house. There was twice I was fully awake but could move nothing but my eyes. I didn't see anything but felt an overwhelming sense of evil. I prayed and prayed until I could move. After that when my husband would go to work early in the morning, I started sleeping on the couch at the far end of the house. I always had my grandma's Bible with me and the phone. One morning I had a dream and couldn't move. I finally woke and my hand was on the Bible and I heard the most wicked laughter I never want to hear again. I called my grandma and she was woken at the same time and heard the same exact thing! For some reason my grandma, mom and sister are very sensitive to unexplained things. Even in this house I've lived in for almost 50yrs. We've seen things. We've seen sharp knives leavatate and drop on the floor all facing our bedroom and more. I've got pictures of orbs, my children have seen my mom long past in mirrors in our house in her blue suit she was buried in. I only have a couple pics of her and the kids have only seen them after all of this happened. We have seen white apperitions, wich don't scare me and black ones wich do. I'm not sure what has happened but it's not normal. Of be hairy to send you a picture of the orbs. In one our there was close to 30. I'd love to know what you think and can provide you with more insidences. Thank you so much from Kari Powell from Oregon. I'm terrible at computers butt your more than welcome to call or text. There's been a lot of witnesses to everything I've told you. Again Sincerely Kari Powell. 541-790-9569

They look like stereotypical 60s con artists. Honestly, the Warrens were just a couple of horror authors, their gimmick was the same as the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, claim the events are from real-life accounts but they are really very loosely based on a different story. They cast themselves as the main characters and gave themselves phenomenal abilities, basically turning themselves into self-insert OCs. They were a couple of larpers that sold their original stories about how the psychic woman and the demon hunter teamed up to fight the forces of evil! In all honesty, it would have been a fun pair of fiction authors if not for the fact they decided that lying gave them more profit than being honest and just play along for fun.

One can't truly believe in God without believing in satan. And this is what's important... Whatever Ed and Lorraine were or were not they spoke the truth about God; about good and evil, about the decision we must make for our own eternity. As Ed Warren said himself "The fairy tale is true. The devil exists. God exists. And for us, as people, our very destiny hinges upon which one we elect to follow.”

Started reading one of their books and was very disappointed. They were investigating a ghost at West Point and it turned out to be the ghost of JFK. Why? Because JFK once went to West Point. The paranormal is such a mysterious topic to prove and disprove. Though more easier to disprove something and pass it off as coincidence. Like many other things we simply cannot explain even through research and scientific evidence; our solar system and what makes things the way the are or what creatures lay beneath the most deepest of the deepest oceans, the paranormal is no different. We live life in a body and our souls and spirit operate it. It makes us us. So, with this theory in mind, who's to say our restless souls still linger in purgatory especially when we die of something so terrible and horrific; lost in confusion as to why it happened or worse, seek revenge on those that so heinously carried these acts on us.. I believe in demons and everything Spiritual. What I do not believe is the media for obvious reasons. But my disbelief in the media doesn't mean I doubt something they may portray as demonic. It's like one of those obvious things you think about though you're unsure on whether it exists or not. You know the ocean and space is huge but no matter how much you study it, you just know that there's something more than what's given.
@@vuanhachoi2409 I prefer what's supposed to be real I say supposed to be because I have never witnessed anything in person but no them guys as in tarot card readers are scam artists unless they are actually studying it and not just doing it for money at a fair or circus lol

So true what you have said.🌼
@@MissaPality this sounds a bit like something I experienced. People in that community are very eager to believe.
I grew up in the 70’s and lived nearby. They were legendary.
There are 3 cases from the Warrens that I would love to see turn into movies. #3 The South Bend Wherewolf #2 Satan's Harvest
#1 Snedeker House. Many years ago my cousin and I visited the Warren's Occult museum. To this day we both have nightmares about that place.
The Snedeker haunting was already covered in haunting in Connecticut. They omitted the Warren's involvement tho.
Yeah f that museum, you'd think the entire place would be......

What kind of nightmares if you don't mind me asking?

So I personally want to believe that the Warrens were genuinely capable of interacting with the paranormal and tbh I think some of the events they experienced were real, especially their earlier cases.

Exactly! Rifles are extremely loud so how did they not hear it
Dafoe jr. Was a drug addict, he probably drugged them 🤷♂️
That's one of the big mysteries.
The house sat in a cluster of houses. None of the neighbors reported hearing any shots, no one was woke up by any noise that night.
glad to see you're uploading more frequently again.

Ed was fond of young girls. They had a 16yr old live with them under the guise that she was their niece when in fact she was Ed's lover.

Lorraine has been quoted saying the amityville house was the scariest place she's been yet the entire amityville story was fake.

I don't know what really happened but I believe in their ability. And they had to make an income to live and be able to travel to help people.

If you go by the movie, you'd think they were instrumental in dealing with it but the true account is they were there for a day, decided there was nothing to investigate and then went back to the US. The British paranormal investigator, Maurice Grosse was far more involved.

I’ve experienced many wonderful Spirit manifestations in my homes, but I never felt threatened because I knew it was messages from the other side where I felt completely protected. What the Warrens did should be applauded, because I myself could never chase evil like they did.
I do believe they encountered supernatural things. But have over exaggerated about some cases. Also faking some cases does seem likely.
In one our there was close to 30. 10 advert breaks in 44mins is not on wether its the free version of TH-cam or not!
It’s up to the maker of the video. They are getting a little ridiculous with the ad breaks.
@@onemorerep6597 thanks for the reply. Although I like the content time to unsubscribe
Ed looks like Joe Gatto combined with Frankenstein
@@kgamzz26 What do you mean?
Looks more like a mob boss in the 1940s
Are you a mean girl? That’s something a ten year old says
So disrespectful of you. Wow.
Yeah I agree
i remember when T.A.P.S. on ghost hunters, tried to calls these out on their bullshit, then ended up being called out on their own bullshit in later seasons :o
Their show was soooo boring lol
@@AngelWhisper_7 to me, the earlier ones were more interesting, then later on, like...season 5 onwards was becoming more obvious it was as fake as a bimbo's chest
They lived less than 45 minutes from me. They got me into this level of awareness growing up.
Well I guess this is going to be what I'm doing for the next few minutes, love Top 5s
Never been this early greeting top5s !!! :)
Paranormal investigators are a source of entertainment in the same way as books, tv shows and movies in my mind. Some better then others of course.
You have the perfect voice for creepy content, brotha. That and your music choices make these videos compelling. I had to turn on my room light because I was getting freaked out.💀😂
Watching Ed and Lorraine interviews is what convinced me that God is real. I believe because of demonologists. Ironic.
I feel sorry that u were brainwashed due to a movie when u didn't even do research they were frauds and have been debunked many years ago not only that if u only belive in God because of fear that's not love
@@waitwhatdidimiss65 where are your sources?
Fantastic work 💓
Yes! This is amazing! More content like this! 😊❤
Liking this before watching, this will be perfect bedtime listening tonight!!
Theses double unskipable ads are really creepin up

His voice is ageing like fine wine 👍🏼
Started reading one of their books and was very disappointed. They were investigating a ghost at West Point and it turned out to be the ghost of JFK. Why? Because JFK once went to West Point.
Another time they went out west to track Big Foot. I gave up on them after that but their collection of cursed objects is still interesting! 😎
I LOVED LORRAINE & ED WARREN...THEY ALWAYS ONLY WANTED TO HELP PEOPLE..THEY WEREN'T SEEKING FAME & FORTUNE.
THEIR DAUGHTER JUDY, & HER HUSBAND ALSO SEEM TO BE GREAT & CARING PPL..
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO.
Lou had sleep paralysys and a nightmare about a doll. that's it. Nothing more. Sheesh.
If the doll was really a danger....why not burn it? End it? That's just Supernatural smarts, there. I'd have chucked it into a furnace. Also those "levetating" children are CLEARLY jumping and being caught on camera mid jump. C'mon, are people really THAT gullible?
Man I love this channel.
You know the ocean and space is huge but no matter how much you study it, you just know that there's something more than what's given.
pure poetry
The smurl family haunting was a good one too
Not to mention how much they charged for their "talks" and public appearances.
I mean
How else would they get money
not as bad as fake ass psychic's getting paid millions to "find ppl's children" or missing people in general ..the warrens have a lot of credibility
Do you prefer that or the modern day psychics who use Tarot to predict your future?
@@vuanhachoi2409 I prefer what's supposed to be real I say supposed to be because I have never witnessed anything in person but no them guys as in tarot card readers are scam artists unless they are actually studying it and not just doing it for money at a fair or circus lol
Yea right, how dare they take money that people are wanting to pay them
Great content as usual
So, did anyone else notice the Perren girls picture? The 1st, 2nd and 4th have black eyes and the third one has a distorted face. Maybe it's just the old b/w picture, but it is kinda freaky.
Great content m8 👍
Nobody ever talks about Peter James. He's was the best that ever lived, and we're stuck with the same rehashed stories about these goober. Come on. Do some real digging.
Peter James.
That is all.
@Kai A ??? I need more information haha
Theres 2 peter james who do paranormal investigating. Might help if you give a little more information so people can actually "dig".
