    When your introduction to sport climbing is a 9a+ you might be ok at climbing

      idk why he said that, he has done hard sport climbing (9a+ & 9b) in the past...

      I climbed the very first Norwegian grade 8 (7b/c?) in this region (i.e. Trøndelag) in 1981: The key beta that made it possible was when I discovered an over the head sideways kneebar in the middle of this 45 degree overhang/roof. This made it possible to release one arm so that I could fit a Friend #2 into a narrow surface crack. :-)

    when you think about it, a sport route is just a bunch of stacked boulders 🤨

    I love to watch Daniel and the Mellow guys and gals do hard boulder problems, but watching sport climbing is so much more sick to me. I'd love to see the Mellow style of footage more in the sport climbing world. In fact, I think it needs that kind young, raw, skate mag kind of feeling. I love high production videos like this but I think there's room for some more low cost, skate style videos in the high grade sport climbing world. Cause so much of it is about fucking around with friends and then doing really hard scary shit.
    Sick sends on a beautiful route guys! 👌

    ´In my body´; where was that sample from?

    • @gallanonim6535
      @gallanonim6535 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Probably from the movie Autoroute. In the end there's a segment with Simon Wandeler where he says: I like climbing because I like to...feel my body". It could be a reference to that famous line from a classic climbing flick.
