Happy to see you up and running! I didn’t acquire your patience until I was much older than you. Keep that patience, it will come in handy navigating life.
Great vid. Also have 23 Challenger DH from iMotorsports St Pete. Enjoy hearing about your experience with the bike.I've had mine about 4 months and really enjoying it having come off a 2013 Yamaha Roadstar - big difference. Keep up the reviews and tips and showing your experience with the bike. Thx.
I was initially looking for any vids regarding the RVS tune for the 23’. Didn’t find any but saw your video decided to watch it and funny enough. I have a 23 Challenger dark horse and that’s where I leave my key but I’ve never had a problem but it’s still great information. I’ll have to remember to remove mine every time now if anything, it’ll kill the battery in the fob. Thanks for sharing
We have very similar paths. I went from an Aprilia, to a BMW S1000RR to a Kawi ZX10R (Kept it though), then also bought an Indian Scout 101. I am now debating between upgrading my Scout 101 to either an Indian Challenger or the Indian Chieftain. I see you also ran into the the Indian bad battery issue too. What is odd is I bought a brand new 2025 Indian Scout 101 and also had battery issues within 1 week and bike was dead. When I brought it into to do the 500 mile maintenance they said yes a bad battery and replaced it. Seriously on a brand new motorcycle? I replaced it with an AntiGravity Restart Lithium battery.
I actually was having the same issues. I got a bigger battery tender/maintainer. All of my problems went completely away. I’ve had my bike for three years now. Battery tender.4 Amp
Get the Hardstreet Ryt-there shelf set for your hard bags. I had them on a Chieftain, and my Road King bags, drop my phone, keys, wallet, sunglasses on the shelf, rest of the bag easy access for other gear, clothes, etc.
I remember when my bike wouldn’t start after sitting for awhile, it was as simple as getting a new battery for the Key Fob… lol. I changed out that battery and it started right up.
I have a Lanpard Faraday Bag for Key Fob that I leave in the bike with the keys in it. Set your security code on the display and you can start it up without the key.
Man I had hell getting my bike tuned after the decat. Finally took it to a Lloyds remote tuning center. That worked. Don't waste time on a power commander. The PC6 won't work below 2500 rpm.
HogWorkz or AdvanBlack saddlebag inserts have pockets for a bunch of things… I have them in both my 23 Challenger Darkhorse and my 23 Fast Johnnie Road Glide ST.
If you are going put your FOB in the bag, make sure you take the Key out and have it on you because in a loaded bag, the lock button can get pushed and lock the fob in the bike....HAPPENED TO ME! It is a great idea to keep the FOB in there...but REMEMBER the key!
I did this, and thought I was screwed until I was reminded that the right button on the right fairing (next to the filler unlock) will unlock the bike if the fob is near...
I've got bad news for you. I've never kept the fob near my Challenger when it is my garage and the battery will go dead in 3-4 days. If you're not riding your Challenger, plug it in.
I attach fob to a lanyard wearing it around neck and put fob down your shirt or use key code without fob. say safe young man please consider wear some safety gear 🤔 God bless
Bro never leave the fob on your bike when out. Your making the criminals job way to easy. I don’t like bulky things in my pockets so I have a good clip to attach the fob to one of my belt loops. I do the same with my car/truck keys too!
I just put my key fob in my pocket. I have a 2017 chieftain and I can leave it unplugged for a week or more., but I plug it in. It will make the battery last much longer
If you modify the exhaust wouldn't that void your warranty ? Especially when it's a EPA certified exhaust system . Plus the bike was designed to run with the catalytic converter . You might have to re-map the computer . I have a BMW and I just left it alone. 😊
I'm sorry this guy is not rider, just posser. It's more speaking and complaining then riding. He probably doesn't know how to change oil which is simplest task on bike. He bought big touring bike to seat in garage and make complaining video. I have Chieftain with my 64k miles on it, never complained or had a "issue" but I ride that bike and maintain by myself, my bikes doesn't seats in garage and I'm not making funny complaining videos.
If only there was some sort of storage apparatus in a pair of pants!

Power drain recall from PCM is probably your issue

I’m glad you got it sorted. Ride safe👍
No protective riding gear, no helmet. I can’t even imagine.

Or just put it in your jeans' pocket and carry it there all the time.
OMG…!! The fob was causing the battery to draw…??? Wow….
Just keep the on “you “…
Not the bike …👍

Cat deleat= void warranty? That would suck if so.
No, it doesn't
Replaced the wiring harness? Did i hear that right? On a brand new bike!
i dont know anyone that keeps the keyfob with the bike .... harley, indian or any other brand, hardstreet makes a inside of saddlebag shelf

Most people put there key fobs in their pockets....
Question for you I currently have a street triple and I’m looking at switching to a cruiser. How come you went with the Indian versus the Harley?
The reason they give you that big cargo space is for a generator haha
HogWorkz or AdvanBlack saddlebag inserts have pockets for a bunch of things… I have them in both my 23 Challenger Darkhorse and my 23 Fast Johnnie Road Glide ST.
Great video brother
So you leave your keys in the car , that will....... START THE CAR ???

Have you thought about your pocket like a normal person?
Love those American made Indian motorcycles❣️
They just keep getting better and better👍
Get a new comment! You put the same thing on every Indian video!!!
I've got bad news for you.
I've never kept the fob near my Challenger when it is my garage and the battery will go dead in 3-4 days.
If you're not riding your Challenger, plug it in.
If you want to skip making one a zippo lighter pouch would be perfect for holding fob. you could velcro it to inside wall of bag and Boom ...all done.
I attach fob to a lanyard wearing it around neck and put fob down your shirt or use key code without fob. say safe young man please consider wear some safety gear 🤔 God bless
those are SharkRoad exhaust and the DeCat , put a K&N intake in and a tune and it will RRRiiiiipppp !!!
Still prefer the old fashioned key for a motorcycle.

When you remove the cat the ecm can't read the o2 sensor temperature just something to think about
😂
Taking the fob out won’t help my buddy works for Indian he said it’s a problem that can’t be fixed no bullshit
“Sweat wet” 💀
I just put my key fob in my pocket. I have a 2017 chieftain and I can leave it unplugged for a week or more., but I plug it in. It will make the battery last much longer
Love your face
The dealer took way to long to figure that out. Won't the cat removal void the warranty ? Which it sounds like you need.

No helmet is absolute NPC behavior.
