I was knee high to a grasshopper when dukes came out, and I must say that I could never do that stunt without hurting myself. I would be out of commission for a week if I tried that. Bravo John!

I remember watching dukes of hazzard when I was a little kid back in the 70s. over 40 years and he doesn't seem to have changed one bit. Not talking about his looks/age (although he looks great) but he still has that "young" care-free spirit about him. As they say "we don't stop playing cuz we get old. we get old cuz we stop playing."
Me too! I used to watch the Dukes with my grandfather. I shot this at a car show here and later that night we won a raffle to have a private dinner with John (Bo) and then after dinner he signed the dash of the truck you see in my picture on here. He is a really great guy.
John Schneider, Tom Wopat , Ben Jones And the rest are the best. Even after 7 seasons of A great show And all the fame they Are all normal people like you And me. That was And still is my favorite show ever. I would love to meet them some day just to pesonaly thank them .
HE IS A ROCKSTAR!!!! Wow! I couldn’t have done that at five years old. Some people are forever young. He is definitely one of them. Beautiful energy, beautiful life force.
We had a private dinner with him at a home here and we had a blast. We also had a private concert with him and my wife sat beside him the whole time and she loved it. I have a 69 Ford F-100 that looks a lot like Uncle Jessie's truck on the Dukes of Hazard and he signed my dashboard. A night we will not forget.
I made in that a Superfest Metropolis Illinois. Yes he's a very cool dude. Also met Ben Jones AKA cooter in Oklahoma City years ago got to talk to him for an hour he was so down to earth the people that played on that show or just like you saw on that show in real life

It sort of sad seeing John struggle. Seen videos of him at appearances over even the last 10 year and he seemed to always do it near flawlessly. Guess age is finally catching up to him. Hate to see my childhood heros grow old.
You try to do that when you're 56 years old, with the car on a lift, and he is 6'3" tall. He is 60 now, in 2020. Growing old certainly beats the alternative, DEATH.
I would just like to express, your role in Christmas Comes To Willow Creek.... that was such a great movie, and it brought everything together by having Tom Wopat in there with you as well!!! I own that DVD and I'll watch it quite often! And it still brings a tear to my eye!!! Thank you so very much!!!

He was born April 8, 1960, so he just turned 60 last month and remember, he is 6'3" tall, so that makes it even harder to jump in the General Lee, through the window.
Who's the idiot that left that car on the lift? There's like an extra 6 inches added to the height of it. I doubt anyone could do it let alone an older gentleman like John.
John knew about it and the owner offered to move the car off the lift and John wanted it left this way. So no one was an idiot and the lady that owns the car is a very nice women.
Had our General Lee at Megacon in Orlando this weekend. John, Catherine and that other guy was there. John and Catherine were great genuine people. The other guy not so much. His head kept getting in the way of the camera
Yes sir i love it!!!! Although i own a rotary, i grew up loving that charger and watching the Dukes Of Hazard. When i jump into my 2012 challenger srt8 6sp i feel like a duke boy. Man i miss good old shows like that. Good to see him in good health and still atheletic. Yeee haaaw!!!!!
Oh come on people, if we're lucky, we all find out we can't jump as high, run as fast or lay it down like we used to,, but, John has still got what it takes. He's jumping higher, and the car isn't set up for him. I hope if he drinks beer, someone got him a cold one and thanked him for being a sport. Bless him and all he's done for all of us fans out here in the world.
My first crush at a tender 6 years of age. I was so in love with Bo & John! 😍😍😍😂😂😂 Now that I think about it, I'm still a bit enamored with him. Some things never change. 😕🤣

Hey John have you noticed the older you get the harder it is to get through that window? If you think you have trouble getting through the window you should see me having trouble getting in without hitting my head on the roof. Welcome to old age I'm going the car slow and you'll have less headaches. Haha have a nice day John We're Not Kids anymore
Ok the general is on a lift about three inches ! How the heck did u get into the general when the dukes turned it into a rock crawler ? Also remember the doors on the general Lee was welded shut lol

Someday their age might get 'um, but the law never will!
Can't wait to meet him and Tom Wopat
@@mog398 🤣🤣🤣 Amen
The car was on the lift, so it was about 6-8 inches taller, just made it that much harder on him.
@@KyGamingUnderground plus I rewatched him jumping in the car and he never did it like that
That extra height of the lift makes a big difference. John is first class
Young at Heart and still handsome !!!

The seat is moved up and the car was a few inches higher than normal lol. This was extra hard...
Adam N the car is on a lift so it's a couple of inches higher. that's why he's struggling

John Schneider is a saint.
He seems like the kinda guy you can grab a beer with and chat for hours on end.
We had dinner and some adult beverages with him and he was cool. We won a drawing for a dinner and concert with him. He played his guitar for us.
U go boy!!! Luv ya John!!!!
He taught me to drive like a speed demon. Love john.
That's FANTASTIC!!

Did the door just open
Next I want to see Daisy Duke get in her shorts..
I heard from a source that Catherine Bach(Daisy Duke) hasn't aged very well. I hope that source is wrong.

Why didn't he use the door the first time?
I used to make my mother so mad jumping in the car windows like The Dukes. It probably didn’t hit the same in a Ford Granada
Had to have the hat turned 'round backwards. That's the key. 😉
