I had only one day in Kyoto, May 28, 2024 (flanked by two nights), and it was the day of a very heavy rain (with flood warnings and so on)! That's why I liked Osaka more :^)

loving your videos! when will the next one be released for osaka? I'm going to Japan in August and I think I'll copy your itineraries! still don't know whether to stay in Kyoto and do a day trip to Osaka or stay there

Thanks so much! It’ll be this week :) if it’s just Osaka city you can probably do the main tourist stuff in a day, but it’s a good base to travel to places like Kobe and Himeji. If I was time restricted I personally prefer Kyoto more. Hope you have a great time in Japan!
