Not entirely wrong. The Sisterhood was a side project of Sisters of Mercy singer Andrew Eldritch, where he recorded songs he had composed for a second Sisters of Mercy album with the help of guest musicians.

The Sisters of Mercy didn't sing this song. The Sisterhood did and the singer is James Ray who sang this and not Andrew Eldritch just an fyi.

Yes, they are both Andrew Eldritch. He was in a dispute with Wayne Hussey and made the album to prevent him from using the name.
