    Great presentation Marshall! This option in ECAMM together with the camera place holder makes it so easy to configure scenes. In my use case the iPhone is used to show around the room right now, but on a stand and simply used as en extra camera... great.

    Great video! But it keeps mirroring my iphone screen instead of using the camera. Can you explain how to make it use the camera instead? Thanks!

    Thanks for this! Does continuity work in 4k? Or what is the max resolution? So I know what size I can record in Ecamm. Thanks again

    • @EcammLive
      @EcammLive  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, Continuity Camera maxes out at 1920 x 1440.

    Ok. I can use my iPhone when recording with Ecamm Live, but when I try to use it for doing interviews where I am the guest, it won't work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    So you film using the rear lenses instead of flipping to the front where you can see yourself?

    • @EcammLive
      @EcammLive  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can use either camera on your phone, but the rear lenses are better cameras.

    How to invert the camera because when I’m looking left on the screen I’m looking right I don’t see the settings to change this
    Update: found it in the camera in the camera effect settings. The camera effect settings wasn’t showing up initially

    That was super helpful. I am about to travel and was looking at buying either and M1 or M2 Macbook Air. The latter has a 1080p camera. But with continuity camera I can use my iPhone and save dollars by buying the M1..

    My MacBook Pro is connected to my router via Ethernet cable. Continuity Camera will only work if the laptop is on Wifi?

    • @EcammLive
      @EcammLive  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi John,
      The short answer is yes. You need WiFi on. This is from Apple's website:
      "Your iPhone and Mac must be near each other and have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on. Your iPhone must not be sharing its cellular connection and your Mac must not be sharing its internet connection. To use Continuity Camera wirelessly, your Mac must not be using AirPlay or Sidecar."

    how do set the camera to 16:9 tall. it does for all other cams except iphone, which it leaves with wide angel

    • @EcammLive
      @EcammLive  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure we totally understand your question. In Ecamm, you can choose to record in tall or horizontal formats. If you're asking about the phone camera itself, you should just be able to hold/position it the way you want and it'll adjust automatically.

    • @Imdanieladrian
      @Imdanieladrian ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EcammLive sorry I meant 9:16 tall.
      I have a multi-camera set up and use my phone as well.
      When using that stream/recording ratio, it leaves the phone in a wide angle and not tall format but changes all other cameras.
      So everything can be filmed for IG REELS, or TH-cam shorts, but the phone still film in a wide but not tall ratio whether propped up or on its side

    • @EcammLive
      @EcammLive  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Daniel, your phone's camera should automatically adjust to wide screen when it's on its side and tall when it's standing upright. You can also rotate cameras in Ecamm. If you're having issues with Ecamm, you can certainly get in touch with our support team using our on-site chat at ecamm.tv/3Kw5BLQ

    • @Noiseheads

      @@EcammLive having the same issue... when I select 9x16 tall, it merely crops the image 16x9 and leaves black bars on the top and bottom

    • @jeffk6044
      @jeffk6044 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can also confirm this is a bug. Even if the stream is set to tall (9w, 16 tall) when continuity camera is the selected feed there's no way to get it to feed fully at the tall reel size... disappointing.

    Is it possible to use the iPhone as a camera for my ipad?

    • @EcammLive
      @EcammLive  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ecamm is a Mac only software, so you can't run it on your iPad, but you can certainly connect your iPad and your iPhone to use as camera sources or display their screens in your videos and live streams.

    How to add iPhone with different Apple ID with the Mac?

    • @EcammLive
      @EcammLive  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! Continuity camera wouldn't work if your devices aren't on the same Apple ID. You would need to utilize a program like Shoot or Camo
