It'll never happen, but if any band deserves to be in the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame its these guys. One of the greatest bands ever (like up there with the Beatles, Stones, P-Funk, and anyone else you can name).
Amen, Brother. I grew up in SoCal, the real OC and as white as white gets. But lots of my friends were homies and they turned me on to LL. Great songs, great stories, great band. I'm 63 now and in Texas now but LL is ingrained in my SoCal heart.
@@GregHalvorson He's entitled to his opinion based on his preference. Having seen nearly 1000 shows in my life, I can tell you that these guys are very authentic. I never liked the Beatles and I saw the Stones twice..... Not even close to being better than Los Lobos
I was never much of a Los Lobos fan then , I went to a music festival and they were 1 of a bunch of groups and I was blown away by there playing. They did a few other groups songs and they were better then the originals. I've been hooked on the Lobos ever since.
Finally got to see the Lobos in Sydney in 2013. They have gotten old just like me! They weren't as great as I had imagined, but they were still worth seeing.
Puro Amor! East Los Angeles representing!! Orale! what an Amazing contribution to American Music .. soo underrated by the mains stream folks think they stopped at "Will The Wolf Survive" but those in the know ,, and those those with a Golden Heart and A Golden ear can hear! Stellar Music..OXO
This is a very moving song, though I am thankful that I have no addictions to alcohol, but I truly understand the motivation and meaning of the lyrics.

Um, no, not up there with the Stones and Beatles... Great band, but keep it real.
@@GregHalvorson They need to be there for there contribution to Latin Music alone!

The best American band out there. No other band can go from a mind blowing Hendrixesque psychedelic rock to a Cumbia party in two songs.

Quintessential Los Lobos! This is what they're all about...
They are so godly. This song touches the depths of my pain and heartbreak
