Merry late Christmas and Happy New Year, ADCArtAttack! Yet again, another amazing pieces of artworks. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us next year!
Yeah I hate to admit it, but Ohuhu dropped the ball with their acrylic markers. Hopefully they’ll improve over time, but the quality’s not there right now. Which is a shame because I love their alcohol markers and their marker pads (which you inspired me to buy 😃).
As far as I know, Ohuhu has just started making Acrylic Pens this year. As with the alcohol markers, I expect them to broaden their range in the next years - if the acrylic markers sell.
Hullo Anthony, I am enjoying your videos and artworks! I have gone from a Ohuhu skeptic to an Ohuhu customer! They listen to their customers and improve their product lines! I believe they will improve their paint pens and I look forward to seeing what you do next! See you in the next video!
As someone who used Ohuhu's Acrylic Marker Set versus Arrtx, I tested out one versus the other by painting a paper surface... The Ohuhu marker completely ran out after making one pass on the full 9in x 12in paper. I thought the paint marker was clogged so I removed the nib and attempted to get the ink unstuck... and it wasn't, it was actually just completely out. Meanwhile on another piece of the same paper, Arrtx was able to make multiple passes and still have ink inside of it. I still even have that same color that I've been able to use for other things too. Shockingly, Sharpie has 12 Brush and 12 Bullet Nib Acrylic Paint Markers and they actually far exceeded my expectations than Ohuhu despite the extreme lack of color range. I was genuinely surprised, but that was my experience with the paint markers. I've heard a number of people say they enjoyed the Ohuhu markers, but they're personally not for me.
14:39 this is why I gotta give the win to Arrtx for this one. To me I’m now learning that when it comes to art supplies is all about quality and trying to find what works with you
It was definitely an interesting "match" From my view, Ohuhu seems to have started small with their acrylic markers, which isnt bad but the downside id say is that they didnt have skin color in there Arrtx had a bigger advantage in terms of colors though but despite that, the work wasnt bad, it came out really good and looking at it finished, the lack of skin color gives way to imagination, i liked it alot and you did your best with the colors you had 😊
Happy new year! glad to hear that despite the markers not being what you want that you still enjoy the results, i was kinda tense thinking you'd hate the other shoe or something lol
Been getting into acrylic markers lately. I have the Ohuhu, Arrtx, and Sharpie. Arrtx and Sharpie are pretty amazing! The Ohuhu ones are fine but they dropped the ball on them. Hopefully they improve them because their alcohol markers are pretty great
Oooh 😯 you had me at the fluorescent markers 👀 and honestly the packaging looks really nice for the Arrtx plus the markers too look really good I like the barrels and I like the brush nibs personally and a click top! I am sold! I need to add these to my birthday wishlist for myself. Yeah poor Ohuhu can't keep up and Arrtx definitely won.
I am an artist myself and I have quite the collection of acrylic markers now! I love the Arrtx and I'd love to see what Ohuhu can do with acrylic markers!
Give them to me! I'm a size 40!! No, that's a lie... But even if I was I wouldn't have the courage to risk ruining them by wearing them! Lol Beautiful art as always! Happy new year Anthony!!
The Grabbie markers with the brush nib are pretty good and cheap. They have only the one set but I think there are like 72 colors. We used them on Christmas decorations for the kids and they were great. I do recommend that you supervise children because they can damage the brush nib easily if they press too hard.
Happy new year, ADCArtAttack! If/When Ohuhu releases a bigger collection of acrylic markers, maybe you can make a "traditional" vs on paper/canvas to really have a baseline to compare fairly
Absolutely. They're certainly amazing, as my previous video has show... However, it was such an unfortunate pairing here today, and I try to remain as neutral as possible in these comparisons.
I think I would like either of these but i don't think i could afford either of them. $30 - $50 usd is expensive for art. They'll be on my wishlist for awhile until someone gifts them to me. You're the second artist to customize shoes today and i love them. I want to customize my shoes now. PS arrtx do have a dual tip acrylic marker (they just aren't one of the newer products that they send in PR packs) available in a 32 pack which would make them even playing field at a cheaper price of $24 usd and a 64 pack for $40 which compared to price and value of individual arrtx still would win in price. Quality i dunno without someone testing them or going on reviews
Surely they are just testing the market at the moment and will have more colours if they can make money from them. Can you at least use two or three colours to make colours you want? You can generally mix and blend paint markers, but I don't honestly know how that would work to try and make a new colour. It probably would work with two colours and yet a skin tone might need three at least. I think Ohuhu and Copic, who are both trying out paint markers, may have missed the boat. You already have Posca, who are loved throughout and have been the go to marker for decades. Arrtx have definitely come in strongly and captured the budget paint marker business, and I don't really see how they can currently be beaten. Their range is too strong and their products are actually fairly decent. Arrtx on the other hand, are struggling with Alcohol markers, as they probably came in too late there. Ohuhu killed them before they started, for the same price point. The Ohuhu range definitely sucks. The fine tips are nice to have, yet thought plastic fine tips, no matter what brand are always shit and tend to splatter paint.
very unfair comparison the ohuhu paint pens were designed specifically for graffiti and are advertised as such the biggest thing is to remember to do your research and find the pens designed for what your going to be doing also i have tried arrtx paint pens and they were awefull obviously they worked for you so it makes me think its a matter of when you buy thwm you will either good or bad so their quality is inconsistent. you should try toolli paint pens and compare them to the arrtx ones i promise tooli will win

Actual art starts at 8 min. Holy hell
Happy new year Adcartattack!!!..... amazing artwork you presented.....your videos gives me so much inspiration ❤
I'm definitely going to give the win to Artxx. The reasons aren't because of the results, but because of the variety of nib sets, colors and quality

Happy new year, hope you feel better soon! ✨

"because BOTH cars were made by GM, were BOTH cars available in METALLIC MINT GREEN PAINT?" - my cousin Vinny. My first thought when seeing that pen.

WHY ARE THERE NO SKIN TONE ACRYLIC MARKERS IN EXISTENCE??!!! 😂 I have 3 of those arrtx boxes too and struggle
I like how you said 5 minutes of waffling around, at exactly 5 minutes into the video lol
Happy New Year.
Naw, bro. You HAD to do Gogeta. Thats just life.
I have the 90 set arex ones
What is size 40 in American? (US)
I hope you feel better soon..
My son has a size 40 foot if you are trying to unload them or want to sell them.
I think ohuhu can pull it around once they start making more colors

Looks like Ohuhu set themselves in competition with Posca - that was their starting base.
@@MiserableSpice sounds about right. And they do a GREAT job. Just, not in this area :'( ..... yet
are you not able to mix colours to get a different one?... o and yes I'm size 40 😂.... Love the art
