Dude, I think you underestimate how inspiring you are. You make a lot of us feel like we're all capable of art and that we don't have to feel pressured to produce something utterly amazing to just do and enjoy art.
That said, your messing about is still absolutely amazing.

as a watercolour artist and a big viviva watercolour fan this was both a delight and terror to watch!! i hope you enjoy it as much as I do! just keep in mind that watercolours dry a bit darker than the colour they are when wet!
Oh I certainly noticed the drying !! They're really good, I'd love to work on a more serious attempt, Without concerning myself with a time frame. As an experience it was a treat, I actually didn't know they were paints until I tried (I believed they were examples of colors and this were a pencil set only).
I honestly like the texture the markers get on the paper I think it looks cool

eta: the second page was the image of the sculpture she did of you-tuber Simply Nailogical years ago and she looks amazing in the joy you found using the water colour sheets.

I agree. We should strive to have fun, and as with this video "when the fun stops, you stop". It felt great to not FORCE anything for views, just live in a moment
tbh this is one of the greatest art vids ever, like seeing you actually having fun and not being too serious just made me feel happy about my aproach to art as well as re affirmed me in the fact that art doesnt have to be good to be enjoyed. so thank you ADC

my watercolor brushes do unscrew the wrong way as well, and I also did struggle the first time using it as it is so counter-intuitive!! Great art as usual!

I have to say - I have only recently discovered your channel and I've binged watching it for the last couple of weeks, and your best videos are not about the "best" artworks. The best videos are when you enjoyed the process itself. You often say that but you also apologize for it, and you shouldn't! This is what makes your channel so charming - your enthusiasm and excitement and joy. Yeah, you're an amazing artists and the end results are stunning, but that's not the point of watching an artist at work. Your energy is what brings us here to your channel, so keep on doing what you're excited about, we'll be here to watch :)

I apologise as I'm super aware of others "perception" when they enter a video without knowing me.. I worry they'll be offended I reference myself as an artist, meanwhile I "mess around".
In truth, I am getting too old to worry for the results now, I just love having fun :)

Just because you're not showing of your skills to the maximum and being super serious and deliver the "best" artwork in every single video, does *NOT* mean you're not an artist (or a professional).

I didn’t realise I rarely use purple colours in colouring…so did a page using only purples…then I did greys…I think it opened my creativity and I loved the results…🥰

I love those watercolors sheets, I take them everywhere, but they can a little messy lol.
the good thing about watercolor is if you put too much color on the page you can just use a clean brush an pick some of it up off the paper again :D

I had more fun watching you attempt art with nerde’s watercolor art set than I have any other art videos lately. Oh and you were right about watercolor artists talking at the screen because I work with the water pens and I was like “they open in the middle.” Or “their opposite of righty tighty, lefty loosey.”😂😂 This was a good one. Nerde Crafter always has really cool art packages.
I shamelessly spent more time than I care to admit attempting to open that "water pen" haha
Fun fact - I ended up having to watch videos to find the answer haha

Those water colours looked like fun haven't done much water colours my self a part from water colour pencils.

There are actually children's coloring books with those watercolor sheets at the top of each page (with the correct colors of the character or picture)

Every waterbrush pen I've ever used unscrews clockwise, first time I used one I thought it was a defect, but seems they're all that way and it trips me up every damn time
You seem so happy here! I love it! As artists, we thrive by pushing our boundaries. Btw, the 4 colors on the bottom of the page on the watercolor sheets represent the 4 colors on that page (2 top, 2 bottom) they aren't 100% accurate, so I swatch over the color names.
I love your artwork! I have watched almost all of your videos since I found your channel about 3 months ago. This is by far the best of them! It has been fun watching you relax more into who you really are. Please continue to be YOU in your videos. Yes I come here for your art, but you are a blessing to watch, especially on days that am feeling a bit down for whatever reason! Your smile and your joy are infectious, and it is hard not to grin with you!
As for the righty-tighty, lefty-loosey thing, it is probably so that you don't accidently unscrew the pen while you are working on your project. People tend to unconsciously fidget with their pens and and loosen them up. This way, you don't have your water going everywhere and destroying what you have worked on.

I've been wanting to try watercolor for the longest time but I'm always scared when I should just have fun like you did! oh, and btw I have those watercolor brushes and yes, they do unscrew backwards! haha The only reason I didn't get stuck like you is because my packaging warned me about it!
