Hello everyone, I produced this long play video in response to a request from a follower who wanted to see more aerial footage over Tasmania. This format is quite different for this channel but something I was willing to have a crack at. I intend to continue releasing my shorter location based videos on a regular basis but may also add these longer play videos if people enjoy watching them. Please give me your honest feedback on this (and this style) of video. Would you like to see this channel add some more long play videos similar to this in the future?

I’ve loved these trips to and all around Tassie!! We were there from the USA Northwest and became friends with people from Australia. We took a road trip with them around the island for a week! We almost decided to try and move there as it was so charming and beautiful!! We had to turn back rather than go on to Cradle Mountain as it was snowing and had very bad weather on that side of the island, however it was a trip that I will never forget! We took our time and went off of the beaten track and saw many marvelous things and met great people!! I loved Australia and it’s people who were so full of quick humor and friendliness!! I often dream about all that we saw in our 4 trips to that great country!! We learned about our own history while we were in Tasmania!! Before our independence from England they sent their prisoners to the colonies in the country that was later to become the USA!! After we gained our independence we wouldn’t take them anymore! England then looked for a new place to send them to and their first shipment was sent to Africa and abandoned on the coast of Africa!! All of the prisoners died in Africa as they were just left to live on their own! They all died horrible deaths from the animals and the tribes! The newspapers in England had written about it and the people were in an uproar over what happened. England had to find a new place to send these people whom many had only committed crimes such as stealing a loaf of bread to feed their starving children!!! They then chose Australia which also was full of hostile conditions! Many died on the boat trip as they were using the same boats that were previously used for slave ships. They were kept in the same way in the holds of the ships and only brought topside to hose them off and hose down the holding area once in a while. Therefore, many died of disease before ever reaching Australia! The conditions were horrible!! Our history books never told us any of these things, of course, just as it left out many of the things that happened in our own country!!

Thank you for soothing and calming my senses with this work of art .....I am so tired of this lockdown and all the stupidity surrounding it....and my heart just wants to roam and be free like before, thank you once again, I hope you and yours are all riding out this idiotic virus wave with ease and in comfort.

Hello again, so happy you enjoyed this one too. This one was made as a request from one of our followers and I hoped it would be perfect for these times in lockdown. Hang in there, things are beginning to move back toward normal and hopefully we will have a lot more freedom soon. All good at this end, the lockdown has given me plenty of time to edit footage so I plan to release a few more of these videos on a more regular basis. Stay safe and thanks for your ongoing support. Cheers Phil

Stunning footage. Couldn't have been as many drone restrictions back then. A lot of the places are no go drone zones now. Such a shame.

A 1 hour video?! Looking forward to it. Will need to watch it a bit at a time though.
I'm glad you chose Tassie. It's another place I need to visit for a few months. I hope you can do more of these long videos of different places. Thanks again for the great videos.
Bit of a side note - have you seen Wandering Foxbat? He flies a plane around Tassie and films the trips and posts them uncut.

I'm kind of dabbling in an different genre, the long play relaxion space. I think the idea is that people watch these on their second screen whilst doing other things. I cant imagaine anyone will sit there for an hour and watch this thing from start to finish, i know i couldnt. Anyway its a bit of a trial and we'll see how it goes. And yes i have come across the Wandering Foxbat vids, I've watched a couple of the shorter ones previously Cradle Mountain etc. Love Tasmania's wild landscapes.

This is cool man. Having recently been to Cape Huay and some off the other places, it was neat to see them from this perspective. Could definitely see this on background screens at offices or homes as you said. Would be cool to have this playing in a waiting room at a spa or something like that.
