The aiming bugs took away so much of the fun I used to have in WoWs, when I started playing. The fact they failed to adress these issues for years, shows, how little they care about the player base...

I also love that destruction of modules is red and black and you can see it clearly, not the white/grey jpg without background

I ran a test in a training room recently to determine exactly how far out a Des Moines can actually pen the cit on a Novo (6-7km) and accidentally discovered that at 8km ALL the rounds start falling way short. It was incredibly distinct, the point at which it started doing this. How are they so bad at fixing the most important mechanic in the game?
Yesterday i got traumatised. A golden lewe dev strike me at 15km .I was in a Ancheon with 80%hp and I was not even broadside .I just stopped playing
Being on the WG fork just brings me pain when I see videos like this, such beautiful gunnery (and I find IJN battle cruisers very pretty + this lighting)
This honestly makes me want to try this server just to see how bad my aim actually is. Ngl
as i watch more and more flamu playing in the Russian server i see how FAR behind WG is, compared to Lesta....
Imagine if the quality of the art and coding teams were reversed.
The game would look like a bad Gary's Mod troll level, while being the most smooth running, well balanced game imaginable.
Seeing the changes and direction lesta are going is making me consider trying to download it. Stopped playing wows ages ago 'cause of the direction that weegee was going, but as vodka fuelled as some of the changes are, it looks at least like a game moving forwards and trying to fix its problems a little.
I liked the 8 and 9 more than bungo. Idk why bungo didnt seem as consistent
Same for me. It's probably in good part down to luck, but I get good results with nice purple WRs in them, but I fell in the red with Bungo (despite very similar results).
So I don't play Bungo anymore. Tier 10 MM sucks anyway. :/
Because with the spotter up, it is so accurate that any hiccups in the aiming system can whiff your entire salvo, rather than landing a few pity hits courtesy of dispersion.
Is lesta just more worth to play?

Where do I find this version of WoWs? This looks and functions so much better than the POS I played the other night after being gone for a long while. I couldn't land a shot to save my life. Dead on shots flying everywhere but where they were put regardless of the ship I played. Ships I used to terrorize with couldn't hit the broad side of a barn now. Not sure if while gone they totally nerfed and destroyed them or they have just totally screwed the mechanics. I am aware that I am likely rusty to a point but not to where things I remember being tactics completely no longer mattering. Things I see you doing all the time btw. Was so disappointed with how things went I am ready to remove it from my system.

The Russian server got taken over by different developers when WarGaming left Russia. So there's a fork in development there.

Hey flolo, would it be posible to make a short tutorial on how to set up the lesta client with the english package? Even if it just a 2 min clip talking on how to do it. If not, could it be posible to link a tutorial or something? Thanks!
I mean, it's really not that difficult, register using a recruitment link, either mine ( flot.ru/David_Attenborough ) or someone elses and use the SUPERSTART2025 code for a ton of goodies. Use google translate on the page and register in Belarus, that seems to work for most. Then install the client using the Lesta center, it's basically identical to WG center.

Just do it just as you would do it with regular WG mods, just go to the game folder then go to "bin" then "res mods" and finally the bottom most folder which is the one for the most recent update.
@@Flamuu I just get constant "Unknown error, please try again" when trying to make an account and think others are having issues too. Unfortunate

Actually, after checking it out... Yeah I'm not grinding this shit again. They give some stuff to start with but it doesn't give me the hours spent nor does it really help with getting at least a tree to tier 10. It's just the same grind. Also it appears to have quite a bit less ships, even though the sound is far superior. I'd rather just quit the game altogether at this point

Hey flamu, big fan, how have you translated the lesta client?
Is that a different server or separate game host ? Do you need a different account ? What is this witchcraft ?
It's the russian version of the game, currently developed by the OG dev team (Lesta). They split from WG after Ukraine was invaded, so now they have their own servers and they are developing the game in a quite different way than WG. Yes you'll need a new account on Lesta servers and, assuming you don't know russian, a mod to translate the client in english

Played WoWs since Beta. Downloaded the Lesta client 2 days ago. Never looking back.
Maybe with the finalization of the Ukraine conflict there will be a removal of max sanctions, do you think the company would re-merge?
Yeah... WGs side are starting to be unplayable... Opponent stuck on island and full salvo lands short... Plus while turning and taking a dc snapshot, you get nice 1km dispersions.
