Crazy exactly 5 min ago I searched up your 100 days of development video, such a coincidence. I wanted to say that your game art style looks amazing for how simple it is, thats a great balance of looking good and being simple!
One suggestion: When you pause the game on a critical hit for a bit, Maybe add a little screen shake Because right now it looks like frame drop on hit Or maybe add some particle effect as you may like
love the gameplay variety with the ships, and the general artstyle is awesome! have you thought about adding some foreground decor to add depth? (think the silhouetted plants and rocks in hollow knight)
this is so cool! this game seems really fun and the art is amazing! i think you might want to make some of the stronger items appears more in the later levels so that you are not overpowered early on. also, make sure you keep the overpowered items in, and just make them very uncommon. one of the biggest parts of a rougelike is god runs, where you deal 5678901928374832763 damage each hit and you can never take damage.
I'd prefer the chest cost be linked to which stage you're on, with it only increasing then, allowing you to buy more and more as the stage goes on, increasing the cost to 50 only makes it easier for me to balance, as now I can be more precise with the amount of gold enemies drop
its fine to keep gameplay easy as long as there are ways for a player to make it introduce challenges of his choice, so for example instead of artificially limiting health, I would rather introduce rewards for "0 hits playthrough" and same with weapons and all other mechanics etc
Yeah, I’m not going for artificial difficulty or anything, I just want to make the game hard enough where you can’t just autopilot through it and your decisions with items and skill with the combat actually matter
my suggestion is to make the special items like te eye item do something special like shoot a 3 laser on top of crit chance and in that particular spot you can only put one charm like cuphead or something like that.
I suppose, but I prefer the color contrast, maybe its just because mount Olympus is magical and all the snow is melted? I need some more gold and magic things for the mountain to sell that idea though
Of course you can't put every single god ever conceived of by humans into the game, or you'll never launch it... However, I do expect constant content updates post launch, until they're all in. Such is your life, now. 😉

I love Leorio's theme in the background of the video
You've really improved since the last devlog! Great Work!

I like god runs, but I think it’s best if the items are only crazy when combined with others, balatro and ror2 do it best imo
Hello,
Take a look at Indian mythology you can find a lot for your game.
That Worm Dragon is so cute!
You can make the chest cost 25 gold but increase with each buy to make the price scale with the player power

WOW
Please make a demo for this game!
Will it be possible to make mods for this game after its release?
expecially
Shouldn't the ground in mount Olympus be white instead of green since its snowing in the background?
