This is episode 3 and we are thrifting at Goodwill! This is probably the BEST GOODWILL in San Antonio!
Welcome to the San Antonio THRIFTING series! I am so excited to bring you this special thrift series from a 2 day thrifting adventure in San Antonio, Texas. I thought it would be fun to present this huge thrifting trip - and a major vintage thrift haul - as a series of shorter episodes, which will be uploaded Sundays & Thursdays.
We will be thrifting across San Antonio in 12 thrift stores and rate each store as we go. Each episode will include a thrift with me in store, rating the thrift store, and then a quick try on haul. The finale episode will be a huge styling of all the clothing pieces I thrifted in Texas!

Yes they are little cherries 🍒😊 I got them from an Etsy maker a few years ago, her shop is called Luxulite and she makes all kinds of "fakelite" (fake bakelite lol) jewelry. So cute, right? 🥰 actually I'll drop a link in the description box for ya.

That looked like a great goodwill store! Our local G W store is super pricey, and they only have 25% off color tags, ever since Covid. I have gotten spoiled from sale days at many other stores, although there are certain things I will pay full price for, such as a true vintage gem or designer pieces. You have a good eye for spotting them! I especially love the beaded jacket you found! It was a show stopper!
Oh dang they dialed back the color of the week sale to 25%? What a shame! I'm with you though, I will pay up for great pieces but I still want those super bargains too! Sometimes GW pricing is just out of control lol!

Such a gerat store! Gotta love it when you can cherrypick those great finds!! PS I have challenges styling the long flowing skirts- maybe you can help me! I'm so drawn to them but always put them back~
Ok you know I love pairing those longer flowy skirts with knee high or cowboy boots, something about it is very fashion week street style to me and I'm obsessed 😆 If you're finding the long skirts appear to shorten your legs try something with a heel or go for a midi length (or both). And then balance the top proportion; I like to wear something more form fitting and casual on top like a short or long sleeve tee, but french tucking a slouchy sweater has that fw model vibe too 😋 try reaching for pieces that are more in your comfort zone when you wear something more experimental for your style. That's my advice and I am so flattered you would ask me! 😃💓

At my local Goodwill, they do not have any pink tag items. Pink is not a color they use for tags at the store.

I'm so glad you're here 💓 you know what my local Goodwills (DC area) actually color code not by the tag but by the plastic barb that attaches their tag 🤨 so you have to look for that tiny piece of plastic lol it's a strange choice! (Btw, I noticed your picture and I am also a big Star Trek fan 😄 TNG is my fave! Glad to meet you!)
