Looks like pinpointers wins out its because its damage is multiplicative like Executioners instead of additive you should try out an Executioners with Pinpointers on its pretty fun just to see the damage numbers dramatically spike ones you hit the threshold i peaked at almost 10k crit with a bunch of buffs
Is this test properly done? If iamnot mistaken, polished 60% dmg boost is when the item is repaired close to 200% its health + it needs to be slightly under 200% since at full 200% the bonus doesnt work. In this video its repaired to 150% its health therefore its boost of what? 30%? Unfortunately it doesnt show the proper bonus in description. Anyway to keep the item all the time at 199% is very hard so it could be said this disqualifies polished vs PP

@trevino73 1 nuka dark for the entire stage I consume it right before starting the fight, then I take between 6-8 sunshine oil in-between reloads, I go in the pip boy while my gat plaz is reloading and consume 6-8 so my AP if Buffed for the whole magazine ! Thx for watching !!

I'm trying to transition to my Unyielding PA for raids at the 40% health level. What do you think would be a good 4* mod for this armor to keep AP up for max Crits. I use a Gat Plasma either a Vamp with Pinpointeers or a Vamp with Conductors...both with full new Crit mods. Even with a Vamp I see Crits in the 2500s+. I don't do Solo's. Thx
What's the condition of your polished modded gat plas? Reason I ask is, some players I game with speculate that the effect only fully kicks in when the weapon is repaired to 200% at a weapon's bench with 3 star Weapon Artisan equipped. Just wondering if there's any truth to it. Thanks!
HELP…I swear I pop 5 sunshine oil every time but I don’t get nearly the amount of time in vats you do… like I get 10 seconds. Can any help figure out what’s up?
@jackfersztFMR you might have very low ap density, check in stats under pip boy at the bottom right of your level. Depending on your needs you may need to pop a few more like try doing 8-10. You can stack up to 25 at once.
@GlassGamingGG so I have 423 base AP. I think I’m starting to understand… is it that the more base AP you have the more you need for sunshine oil to help you stay in vats so long?
Did you repair the polished gatplas before each time with an improved kit or the workbench? We only see it with no overcapped bar at all in the beginning which wouldnt be ideal. Overall great video though keep it up ^^
@TheBuildMiner210 yes the gat plaz was repaired by improved repair kit b4 each run, the clip of me showing the gat plaz was taken after the testing was all done
I’m a classic bloodied build, I have bloodied explosive fixer and I’m struggling to choose what is the best 4 star to increase damage. Also thinking of shotgun, and don’t know what 4 star is best
PP is better than any other legendary 4 Star that increases damage, even on something like Holy Fire which you would think Pyromaniacs would be better. The only time where this wouldnt be the case is if you always aim at the torso of the enemy or not use vats at all, period
Polished is really bad only gives 30% buff usually. you need 200% weapon durability to get the 60% dmg boost, plus you cannot repair the weapon in a workbench unless its at least 99% durability to bump it back to 200%
I was actually testing these same mods and polished always underperformed. I tried polished on bloodied AND anti armor with full rangers and full scanners and polished always did less damage. Furious, bloodied, Rapid, pin pointers and Vipers did better than polished every time against the snake. Even at 55% health my bloodied polished DMG was about 118/118 and still underperformed. Maybe at 20-30% HP it will out do pin & vipers idk but polished is not the answer although I will try it around. Just an fyi I ran durability with polished as the gat plas seems to not lose its condition. Edit: I tested it at 35% HP the lowest I could do and Bloodied polished with DMG of 148/148 could not get me over the hump. I used Furious and Bloodied pin pointers to solo the snake with full rangers. Polished isn't it.
@craigmoncus8643 because the snake is scorched and in testing with the same build Calibrated was always between 5-6k crit on peak while Prime hit 8000+ peak on my 7 second build video

doesnt polished only start at 100%? so at 150% itll stay at 60%boost til it goes under 100% condition
No it starts at 100% health of the gun
With Polished or Pin-pointer, the Gatling plasma works like an auto-axe in range.

I made a Pepper Shaker with the 2* Limb damage, I'm just learning the tail doesn't count as a limb. About to change it to 50c.
Just stop using pepper shaker in general, I rather suggest is as a Vampire ffr for the guardian.
I'd like to see more side-by-side testing for different 4star armor mods.. No food or Chem buffs.. Just what those mods do for you.

I run it on literally everything from my b2525 fixer to my q2525 handmade to my b2525 and v2525 gat plas for the raids. Pin pointers is where it’s at

Why prime receiver? Calibrated Receiver is 100% critical damage which is more powerful than prime.
