On my primary channel, I started October of 2023, I accumulated 9k subscribers in 3 months! At 9 months, currently I’m at 17.4k subscribers! I was just monetized may 19th! My channel blew up off of engaging A.I black history shorts! The subscribers came quick but the 4000 watch hours took forever to get! TH-cam changed up! They are allowing new channels the opportunity to grow faster but you have to have interesting/current topics! I notice that current topics trends tend to do well. My advice to anyone would be understand what’s going on in the world. Make your content In whatever niche you are in relevant to todays time. Most importantly, spend time make long format videos! The TH-cam shorts get the subscribers, but long format videos get the $$$
Yes I started a channel and when I tell you the watch hours are ridiculously hard to get . Omg everyday I want to give up but I’m going to keep going because I can’t look back now If I want to be successful 😊

I started my channel 3 weeks ago. I am only at 60 subscribers . I was inspired by the current state of unemployment in my country South Africa. I received my degree in 2016 but have been unemployed since then. I am looking for alternative ways to create income. This video is an inspiration to push harder. We all have different reasons why we start our channels. Let's grow ❤❤❤❤

Hi Aren, I'm a self-made millionaire who has no friends, no wife (or gf), no kids, and nothing to do. I think it's because I'm kind of a nerd 🤓 or something like that... IDK 🤔 So I decided to start a TH-cam Channel about 2 months ago, and I've been way more successful than I could have imagined. I thought by this point after a few months. I genuinely thought I would only have like 500 or maybe 600 views at this point (because I'm new on TH-cam), but instead I have over 16,000 😮 I guess I'm kinda good at being a TH-camr, but not good at being a "normal person"... 🤷🏽 oh well P.S. I was just documenting my Esthetician journey and now I’m feeling the “you need to niche down” more than I expected. im at 33 for so long i just want to reach 1000 already but at times it feels easier to just give up lol but yes lets all make it to 1000 together and make our dreams come true

It's not an easy journey especially for a sewing channel like mine that needs to put a lot of things on deck before even a video could be produced. But then i think the watch is quite slow for me because people tend to download the video to practice at their leisure. But my passion for sharing sewing tutorials has been keeping me going and not give up. ❤️

Hi Aren, I'm a self-made millionaire who has no friends, no wife (or gf), no kids, and nothing to do. I think it's because I'm kind of a nerd 🤓 or something like that... IDK 🤔 So I decided to start a TH-cam Channel about 2 months ago, and I've been way more successful than I could have imagined. I thought by this point after a few months. I genuinely thought I would only have like 500 or maybe 600 views at this point (because I'm new on TH-cam), but instead I have over 16,000 😮 I guess I'm kinda good at being a TH-camr, but not good at being a "normal person"... 🤷🏽 oh well

I was just documenting my Esthetician journey and now I’m feeling the “you need to niche down” more than I expected. It's not an easy journey especially for a sewing channel like mine that needs to put a lot of things on deck before even a video could be produced. But then i think the watch is quite slow for me because people tend to download the video to practice at their leisure. But my passion for sharing sewing tutorials has been keeping me going and not give up. ❤️
