@@MarlinWheeler Well it starts with The First Omen and Longlegs.
Nosferatu is about to take its title as Peak Horror Cinema of 2024.
@@jasonfamilia6479 Longlegs was a let down in my personal opinion. It's a nice looking movie and that's pretty much it to it. The First Omen was good, well done horror movie.
@@jasonfamilia6479 the first omen was mid at best but long legs was great
robert eggers is the man every movie is just art. i am so hyped
Looks like yet another Eggers masterpiece
Funny to think this is not the first time Willem and Nosferatu were on the same movie.
Ikr
also the second time he's worked with Robert Eggers
@@bored1ca Third time. The Lighthouse, The Northman and now Nosferatu.
He also played the Nosferatu vampire in Shadow of the Vampire. Look it up if you haven’t seen it.
Shadow of the Vampire - that was scary! This looks scarier. Eggers is a genius: he picks his films (writes them!) and directs with subtlety and art, light and shadow.
This is going to be so, so good.
2:09 We missed such creative scenes.
Bill skarsgard fans ASSEMBLEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! ❤
YES YES YES!!! My favorite film maker who’s made 3 10/10 movies! Guaranteed this one will be a masterpiece as well just like his others!
A close friend of mine saw an early screening last month , and if what he told me is true we are in for a masterpiece. He's also certain it will get several Oscar nominations. I'm hyped.
Oscars aren't the only way of measuring greatness, you know? I couldn't care less if a movie wins anything or actor are nominated. I like the experience of watching the movie.
I'm a huge fan of Eggers. It's seems this one is going off the book all the way. I'm looking forward to it.
Look out! He’s gonna flicker the lights on and off!
lmfaoo the Hash Slinging Slasher
Nosferatuuu! 🤦♂️😆
😂 good one
@@nick_galfi9312LMFAO 😂😂😂
THANK YOU;!!!! XD
I’ve been waiting for this since it was first a concept. Christmas can’t come fast enough, Eggers doesn’t miss.
The witch, the northman, the light house great films . Robbert egger's films giving different vibes man no doubt this one gonna be. 🔥
She called out the person she is with and said “He is better then you In EVERY aspect.” Then you hear the moaning. SAVAGE.
Yeah he's picking up on the cuckoldry that was implied from the very beginning with Mina/Dracula/Jonathan.
@@ricardocastillo5485 Except there wasn’t any sexual tension between Dracula and Mina in the novel. Most of the sleep walking and other symptoms of Dracula’s influence were done to Lucy. At most, Dracula had more sexual tension with Jonathan in the novel and Mina’s blood was sucked by Dracula, eventually turning Mina into a link for Dracula to spy on the others, but this allows Mina to give Van Helsing and the other men information on where Dracula is so they can kill him.
@@theassortedhobbyist This isn't based on the Dracula novel.
@@MachineLearningRecords No it’s not, but it doesn’t help that the original Nosferatu film was based on the novel and that this version still borrows a lot of the characters and plot beats from Dracula. The only differences are the changed names, it takes place in Germany instead of England, the sexual tension between the Dracula and Mina stand in characters, and Orlok being killed by sunlight in the original 1922 film.
@@theassortedhobbyistyes and that's why in the intertitles for Nosferatu (1922 public domain version) and in Herzog remake (1979) she is named Lucy, not Mina.
Book Dracula was not a charming gentleman that would be Lord Ruthven.Lugosi version was more Ruthven than Dracula.
Hearing all the people scream towards the end but not seeing anybody really be killed has me so curious what this movie has in store, they're doing a great job at saving the important reveals for the cinemas, most anticipated movie of the year for me!
Well, apart from feeding on people like any Vampire ever, Nosferatu spreads the plague through Rats like a disease. Not only that but He has a telepathic link to the female protagonist
We got Nosferatu,Wolf Man (see UPGRADE 2018 very underrated scifi, same director btw) and The Bride! coming out next year it really feels like monster movies are back
And Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein...
James Wan is making Creature of the Black Lagoon too
@@marvingonzalez8586he is also doing Stephen King’s the monkey and H P Lovecraft’s call of Chtulhu
Is the Dark Universe back? Or is it just stand-alones?
Leigh Whannell also did a new version of The Invisible Man several years ago that was also incredible, so I am VERY excited about his Wolf Man
Lights *flicker
Everyone: "is that you"
Nosferatu: 😊
Hey, we're making a horror movie. Ok, hire Bill Skarsgard! 😂
Miscast
@@dannydenilson8662nah, perfect choice
@@dannydenilson8662Overcast for sure. He needs to stop hogging all the fun roles. ffs.
@@changer_of_ways_999nah, that man is a fucking fantastic actor. He was born to play Count Orlok
This honestly looks amazing and way better than any other horror movie I’ve seen recently. The tone alone has me excited. It’s giving me sleepy hollow vibes with pure seriousness.
Its just a remake.
@karinadelma True, but the director of this remake is not your typical horror director. And just because it's a remake doesn't mean it can't be a good or great horror movie. Eggers has secretly been working on this project for years. It's actually the first movie he wanted to make when he was writing scripts for his debut:'The Witch,' but he didn't have the budget or the craft to be able to take on a film this big at the time. I get that horror remakes can be hit or miss, but something tells me we're in for a serious treat. This is Eggers' most passionate project to date. 💯
@@jaquinrice7923 makes sense i guess.
Dracula has been done countless tines..This looks like the slow burn dread that makes the Novel so horrific. This trailer really captures everything I want to see in a vampire movie
Robert Eggers is nothing short of a film making genius.
I don't need to watch the movie to witness a Master at his craft. Eggers always exceeds all expectations. Although I can't wait for this holiday gift! 😁😁
Wow! Looks Amazing!
The one with Klaus Kinski is an absolute masterpiece.
Finally! A film not holding back 👍
I can't WAIT TO see this movie everything Bill Skarsgard does is INCREDIBLE

I will definitely be watching this film in theaters 🎬 or on streaming services! 🍿✨
Knowing just how authentically hardcore Eggers goes into his research, this could be the the most intense, hardcore, historically accurate vampire film ever made. The definitive vampire movie. The Anti-Twilight, if you will.
Nicholas Hoult : "Another movie where I have to fight against Dracula. Wait ? He's not played by Nicolas Cage and his name is Count Orlock ? What ?"
Willem Dafoe : "Yeah because the original movie was an adaptation from Bram Stoker's original book made without his authorisation so they made some changes..."
Nicholas : "Hold up. You seems to really know your subject..."
Willem Dafoe : "Yeah, I'm the guy who play this version of Dracula in the movie Shadow of the vampire."
Nicholas : "Oh so you were Count Orlock ?"
Willem Dafoe : "No no no I played the guy who played him in the original movie. His name was Max Schreck and some people thought he was a true vampire !"
Christopher Walken : "I played Max Schreck too."
Willem Dafoe : "Oh really ?"
Christopher : "And I fought Batman and Catwoman."
Nicholas :" I am so confuse right now."
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
If you think it is confusing, look at Jesus Franco's Count Dracula (1970) cast:
Christopher Lee (Dracula in Hammer films)
Klaus Kinski (Dracula in 1979 Nosferatu)
Soledad Miranda (a vampire in Vampire Lesbos, a lesbian explotation remake of Dracula )
There was absolutely no need for a sequel. It began and ended flawlessly. It was a masterpiece. 😅
What are you on about? This is a remake, not a sequel.
Dumb girl it's a remake
@@sirgodrick4253The cute ones are normally dumb af. lol
