I understand the gravity of what you are saying, the idolatry of modernism actually built into this inherited view of the nature of reality. This must explain why the Inklings were against positivism, correct? Well said, I feel like incrementally I am understanding Barfield more and more. Your work has been really helpful
Thank you. It was really good to engage with Steiner and Barfield. A survey of Steiner's Philosophy of Freedom is on my to do list. It won't be anytime soon though, I'll need to do a close reading of it making copious notes. I'd like to make it as simple as possible.

Listened to this again, and found it useful and insightful. I hope you can do some more on these matters at some point.
Thanks Bruce, one video I plan to do is from a re reading of Philosophy of Freedom. It has been on my to do list for a while.
Yes, please! I've really struggled to understand this book - & so far failed. I would welcome any helpful talks & discussions about it. @@keriford54

Thank you Keri for this insightful video. You have contributed exactly all the critical points that were lacking from my original video!

I have little doubt you will do a very good job at it, and I hope you find the time and inspiration to do it soon!
Very nice, thank you.
