Something very weird happens at 4:50 I guess this must be a glitch because as soon as you hit him with your KB, Liu Kang had built back both bars of meter. But when the animation of KB is finished, you can see his last bar of Defense is stuck and will not come back, preventing him to break. I'd be pissed.
Kung is ok, but the MK roster is so large, that it takes time for Super to not only perfect each character, but to also record a video, edit it, then post it online. BTW Skarlet is the greatest MK character (she's hot AF)!!!
I love how he plays Kung Lao. Unlike others I meet on KL. I can always predict that they will JUMP a lot and keep spamming that D+4 hahaha. Then I instantly pic Jade. Then D2 everytime they jump haha
There are SO MANY combo opportunities from J4, I'm just realising. Plus Kung Lao had 530 combo potential with FB pre-Aftermath. Post-Aftermath, this is up to 547. To punish parries, no need to wait it out. D3 into DF1 …then continue playing the drums on your opponent. I'll link my "Longest Liturgy" combo under this comment
You’re probably doing it too early. I find that holding forward after the spin motion, waiting a split second and then pressing 4 is pretty consistent. More consistent if you have the execution is to dash out of the spin and then f+4 quickly. So DF1>dash>f+4>DF1 to do another spin
