Great comments. Living in Canada getting a Mid range XL 5x10 would cost me $18,000 Plus and I would have to go get it. So the cost is too high for us here. The Hiker trailer isn't a super hard build, that's if you have skills to do this. Walls are 3/4" ply doors windows rear door all bought Vintage Tech. So it's just a matter of time to build. Plus instead of buying a colour, just use white aluminum and vinyl wrap it the colour of choice. Also Pathway & Runaway are basically the same trailer.
Hi Alan, what part of Canada are you from? I'm (Charlie) from Nova Scotia. We have seen some cool home made builds all beyond my 9th grade shop class skills ha ha. There is a company out in Edmonton I think that makes some pretty cool looking squaredrops. Forget their name though

I'm in the process of building an awning for the use of a trailer that is only 5'4" high but can have an awning that will extend to 7" No Hiker option can do that. So building a small low to the ground trailer is my aim. Starting fall of 2024.
Hi Jay and Eleinne! It seems to be built really solid. We figured we camp maybe 6 or more times a year. Even if it lasted one or two years, cheaper to replace than a Dometic. Glad to hear how well it performs! Have a great day!
nice looking Hiker. i love mine. i have a 5x8 highway deluxe. not many options. got the full size toolbox, diamond plate around the camper. i wanted it pretty basic so i can mod it out the way i want.

@PinayAndtheWhiteGuy your setup is awesome. The toolbox is nice. I have my battery in the box in the corner with two plastic crates next to it. I keep my cords, propane, are, etc in there. I made a walk through video on mine but after watching yours I need to step it up! Lol
The Hiker was a great choice, becoming part of an HOA, not so much. Some options are a great addition, but many can be had for much less than what Hiker charges to install ( although I think they make a great camper, that’s why I own one 😋 ). For example, “Adventuring with Amanda” has one of my favorite ideas for camp showers, or just getting a frig that plugs into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter and has the capacity for multiple day stays. The 5 x 10 is really nice, that extra foot can make a big difference ( I have a 5x9). Thanks for posting.
Congrats and welcome to the Hiker family. Those flood lights are very bright so when they are on at night it looks like a UFO is landing. I installed a dimmer to make the light little bit less disturbing. Add PWM dimmer to the ring light, you will love it. Great source for HIker stuff on www.youtube.com/@MWDAdventures
Hello, I just measured the 270 awning and its height was 80 inches from garage floor to the top. We were also shown on the mounting bracket, that it could be lowered by about an inch if you drop it down to the second holes. Hope that helps

There are boxes for the top of the fridge box top that fit perfectly up there. They are in a set of 3.

We have used that same fridge for 2 years now. Works amazing, we used it non-stop on a 9 month trip with zero issues.

Our garage opening height is 81inches. Have you measured the height of the trailer+awning? Will it clear 81" opening. Thanksnfornthe video

On the XL, they were called "Rear Stabilizer Jacks" and were part of the base Model. We did not have to get them added on
